   Our reservation for Mother’s Day lunch was at 130pm however they started closing the buffet at wrap so we actually felt rushed to finish and go. At 70 dollars a person I felt the value for moneywas not there as we were in and out in about an hour, would have liked more time or at least more than an hour to finish dessert and coffee. Kinda ruined Mother’s Day really. The food was good though.

   The staff was very friendly and the space is open and modern. We were lucky enough to get the private room for our party of 8. The food was not placed properly (salads came out with our meal instead of to start) and took over an hour to arrive. Overall, the food was quite good however, several of the steaks were ordered rare and arrived blue rare and a few of the sides (fries) were cold. An extra salad that wasn’t asked for was delivered to the table to compensate for the food arriving so late. In our experience it was not good value.

   Fantastic great food great service! We started with the calamari it was very good with 2 dipping sauces. I had the seafood linguine that was a perfect potion size and left me almost wanting more but with room left for dessert. Dessert was cheesecake that was so good I wanted more!

   My husband and I went for dinner time around 6:45 pm. It was very quiet, just us two. There was not much ambiance except a bit of calming music. We ordered drinks which were alright. We shared an entree, the Mozzarella en Carozza which were just mozzarella sticks with mild salsa. I thought with a name like that, that it would be a little fancier. It was okay. For our main courses we ordered the salmon & my husband had the margarita pizza. The salmon, vegetables and risotto were absolutely delicious! The risotto was the best risotto I’ve ever had. I have 0 complaints. My husbands pizza didn’t look like a typical margarita pizza. He said the execution and overall presentation was good, but the ingredients were poor quality. With looking at the reviews beforehand, we were looking for a little more from this restaurant. The service and the waitresses were lovely.

    Our reservations were at 11:45am for brunch on Sunday. My guest, who is not from Ottawa, had trouble finding parking and was 20 minutes late. The server kept coming by to warn me that the kitchen closes at noon and that if my guest didn't arrive soon, that we wouldn't be able to place an order. This was very stressful... If there is such a "cut-off" time to accept orders for breakfast, the last reservations should be at 11:30am and not at 11:35am, which is too close to the kitchen closing at 12:00. Food was good but it was stressful as finding a place for brunch in downtown Ottawa is not easy without reservations. R

    Poor experience, did the $110 set meal for new years. Felt rushed. They were understaffed. Ordered a bottle a wine and we were asked to serve it to ourselves. My steak was served rare when asked for medium rare. My wife’s rack of lamb came very rare as well. Served another one but was pure fat and underwhelming. Very disappointing. Won’t return.

    Preface this review with I’ve dined here multiple times in the past and was not disappointed. So when I booked I thought I was going to get a wonderful dinner for Christmas Day. Table for one for Christmas Day dinner and was seated in a corner by the kitchen. Asked to be moved was told that they were booked despite the open table reservation did not specify location. Starter corse was delicious. Main was served lukewarm. I sent it back where the told me the beef was that temperature do to keeping it at medium doneness. I told them everything on the plate was lukewarm including the potatoes to the sauce. They fired up the new main which came at a much better temperature. Dessert was served without a utensil. Granted I still had my salad fork the only thing I could surmise that my server thought that was enough. But when I asked for a spoon, she said something about my fork. And when I asked if she’d eat ice cream with a spoon, she understood (chocolate lava cake with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream). So all in all not a great experience, I still gave gratuity above average as the staff was working on Christmas day which I am grateful, but not befitting of the service received.

    Long wait times for food and drinks. Waited 1 hour for bills. Computer was down and they were unable to print receipts. An automatic tip was applied without it being communicated. Management was not there to support staff on a Friday night. Servers did there best to accommodate, but there was a complete lack of direction and problem solving when issues came up.

    Went there for dinner with 2 kids and 3 adults. Excellent food, the service was impeccable even with only one staff member handling the hostess, barmaid and waitress job. The girl was smiling and did an excellent job. Very impressive

    The restaurant refused to honour the reservation despite sending a confirmation. They claimed they were too short staffed to notify us that the reservation could not be honoured. No effort was made to address the situation. We had to find another restaurant at the last minute for a birthday gathering. This restaurant is not to be trusted as management is clearly incompetent.

    Honestly quite disappointed. Feast + Revel claimed not to have our reservation for brunch which doesn't seem to make sense as friends who had booked a table at an earlier time had their table ready for them. Apparently there's no point in booking a reservation with them as they don't uphold their end when it's busy.

    Very tasty burger and fish and chips. Excellent fries. Decent pizza. Very good side caesar and big for only $6. Downside, very expensive for most items, especially $14 for a small cheesecake portion and $4 coffee. Disappointed that it wasn't on roof as website said scenic views.

    The food was excellent. However, the service was the worst I have ever had in a restaurant. The surprise of the server letting us know there was a forced 18% gratuity since we were 6 people (even though my husband only had water, no food) was the cherry on top at the end of our meal. Our server disappeared at times - she even disappeared before everyone had their plates. We had to stare down the chef until we were all able to get our plates. I will never be back. This was the worst $160 I ever spent.

    Terrible service; she rarely checked on us and left our glasses empty for long periods. She gave my husband the end of a bottle of wine and it tasted like the bottle had been open for weeks. The food was okay, but not great, and certainly not worth what we paid.

    We had a reservation for 5:30 via Open Table and when we arrived the restaurant was closed. A small sign, hard to find, showed hours that they opened at 6 pm. I had to search for someone to help and although we did eventually get seated, the service was very slow. The food was good but the salad was served after the main course. We figured they had forgotten about the salad. On top of that, the menu was limited and expensive.

    We loved our breakfast date at Feast + Revel on Saturday morning. The food presentation was brilliant, the ambience was a perfect mixture of quiet and energetic. As the hotel guests, we were already impressed by the quality of the service at Andaz but our server at Feast + Revel, Olivia Y, took it to the next level. She was super attentive, patient, kind, and friendly throughout the one hour or so that we were there. Also, there was not a single moment where she didn't have a smile on when she tended our table. Truly friendly and welcoming. Thank you to the whole team! We'll definitely visit again next time we're in Ottawa!

    My breakfast was cold and not good. I sent it back but the chef did not do anything about it and the server simply microwaved the eggs benedict to heat it up. It was not edible. Disappointed that I had to pay for a meal that I barely touched.

    Excellent food and presentation although we would have preferred a few other breakfast options ie. french toast, pancakes or crepes. The restaurant is lovely, spacious and comfortable and precautions taken for Covid. It was so good we returned for a second breakfast.

    Service was the main negative; we felt uncared for. It was all just a bit sloppy and unprofessional - some tables had candles, ours did not and we were stuck in a back corner. The waiter never came to check how we were doing and we had to eventually hunt down a hostess to get the bill. Food was ok but not worth the price.

    I was happily pleased with everything except that the disabled bathroom was not accessible. There was plenty of space inside but no button to open door to use bathroom. A button is key to being accessible. Otherwise it's difficult to open door.

    Only positive was our server, Carlos. Other than that, food took 1 hour + to receive while other tables that came in after us were being served their food ahead. The kitchen only had two people working for a Friday evening and clearly they weren’t very organized otherwise tables would be receiving their food in the correct order. Overall, the food was good but not great. Taste was mediocre and the food was barely warm when it arrived at our table. They only had three cocktails available and they were all scotch-based. I’m not even sure and don’t want to speculate which part of the Managment team made that call but it was a poor decision. It was our first time and sadly, we won’t be returning.
