We went last night for my husband’s birthday. They didn’t have half of the menu content . It was the last night of their business and didn’t even mentioned to people that they run out of most of things . The salmon I had was so basic and boiled with no vegetables sides despite mentioned in the menu and same price .my husband ordered burger and the beef patty was gross and seems that they even bother to buy fresh ingredients. It was absolutely unfair . Don’t recommend at all .

Hi Fari, Our last night was to celebrate the owners, staff, and loyal supporters. It was told to all guests and in our newsletter/instagram. Yes, we ran out of a few menu items as to be expected. Why would we want to throw away tons of food? - very wasteful and costly. The chicken and burger patties were bought that afternoon as we had run out by 1pm, could not be fresher. It is absolutely unfair to write a bad review, not recommending us, when our business is permanently closed.

Came here for Dine out Vancouver. It’s a cozy spot with a friendly atmosphere. The appetizer spring rolls were exceptional. Main courses were good but nothing special. The desserts were good - we both laughed when they came out though. The poached pear was literally ONE thin slice of pear on a large plate. Luckily I wasn’t hungry by then so it was perfect but I’ve never seen such tiny desserts before. It was good though and I’d definitely like to go back when it’s not dine out and try some of their other dishes.

Excellent as usual, as we are frequent patrons. Geoffrey is an outstanding restauranteur, and host. Feast was our first choice for Dine Out 2023! We highly recommend it to all!

Took 45 minutes to get our appetizers, half of it was missing. Had to wait an additional hour for our mains, and my wife’s main was wrong had to be sent back. Both our meals were cold, and service was terrible!!

Not enough share plates, and the crab pepper dip was a gooey mess. Server was attentive and made good drink recommendations but forgot to put in the order for our mains, so that took a long time. Overall, menu needs a refresh and they need to up their game, it’s a good, well located space, should be every bit as busy as Earls Ambleside

The food was amazing, the Camembert appetizer was 12/10, you have to order it. The lady who serves us was phenomenal. She was super helpful with her suggestions and just overall had the best energy. I would 100% go again. It gave me “Swiss chalet après ski vibes” and I loved it.

Food is fine but we won’t be going back. The last 3 times, the service is just so slow. It took 45 mins to get our drinks last night. They always say they are short staffed but the place was maybe 1/4 busy. No excuse for that. Hire more people and pay them to help with the service.

Have eaten here often and recommended it to many friends, but was very disappointed last night. Brought a friend for a Christmas outing and many items were not available or “sold out “. (at 5 pm at night???) The waitress was excellent and gave us her undivided attention. Thank you for that😊

Unfortunately due to flu season we were down 75% of our culinary team members last week and did not have the capability of prepping enough of every item on our menu. Well, they tried. But they didn't know that half their restaurant would be full. I don't know - if you can't manage the kitchen with a half full restaurant there are more problems than meets the eye. There are may be 15 tables here. The chef took an hour and a half to prepare 3 burgers and a steak. All of them were overcooked. The burgers had no sauces, no extras. The fries were crispy and tasty though. The chimmichuri sauce for the chewy steak was mostly garlic, so not well balanced with the other ingredients. The server avoided us after 45 minutes of waiting for the food. That's a talent in a small restaurant. Then the manager provided a caesar salad for two to split amongst 4 people. It came without dressing and was meant to appease the hunger pangs. I don't like writing negative reviews. But perhaps this might be a wake up call that the business needs some deeper attention.

The server was alone, however, she would have saved a lot of time if she wrote down the order. She forgot one Oder and it took 3 requests to get ice for a drink. She did apologize and i do understand there is a labour shortage but for a high end restaurant and with inflation prices, the service should be stellar.

You have a beautiful space and the staff is wonderful but every single eggs Benedict was cold. Our waitress was wonderful but the food, nope.

I have enjoyed hearty and delicious dinners. My lunch BLT was skimpy and disappointing. I wouldn’t order again but would try another dish instead.

Very accommodating. We were late due to traffic, yet the staff were flexible and quick as we had a show to get too. Fried chicken is moist and delicious.

I should have realised that Feast is just the shortened version of the full name of this restaurant…..Feast or Famine. Unfortunately, since our starter, let alone the main meal, never arrived during our lengthy visit, ‘Famine’ seems the more appropriate title. The omens began upon arrival, when the three of us we were ushered towards a cozy table for two. The manager would not allow her staff to put two of these cozy tables together, so we settled for a larger table in the parking lot. In the lull between passing cars, we placed our drinks order. The beverages arrived in a reasonable time so, brimming with confidence, we snatched the opportunity to double down and order food. After careful deliberation, our order was placed. To help bridge the gap between drinks and mains, we asked for a focaccia starter. In hindsight, we could have asked for world peace since it appeared that neither was going to arrive any time soon. After half an hour with no focaccia and light hearted banter with the adjoining table, we realised that they had arrived well before us and they had yet to receive a morsel. Sensing that we would soon be asking for the breakfast menu, we informed our server that life is too short and that we were moving on. Perhaps I unfairly gave the food a ‘poor’ rating, but there was no option for ‘what food?’ I am sure that when the chef shows up this place can hold its own against the competition, just be sure that you have chosen a ‘Feast’ night.

We had excellent service, though the menu was a little limited and they seemed to be running low on certain items. No problem booking at last minute. Sunday night quiet and the patio in the street meant only one lane of cars.

They were clearly trying their best and we’re very friendly. Drinks were great and served quickly. The kitchen was behind so it took about 50 min to get food after ordering. A bit too long to be comfortable at lunch. They got the kids food out a touch quicker, but then there was a problem with one of the mains, delaying that guests meal another 10 min while others were eating. The food was good once it arrived. There was no consideration on the bill after the long wait, which I think would have been appropriate. I will still go again off peak hours to try again.

Sat on the patio for brunch. Server very efficient and courteous. Food great. Noise from street work pretty bad but not constant thankfully. Worst part was very hard chairs. Luckily a friend had seat pads in her car to relieve my discomfort.

Three of us ordered the halibut for dinner. It was dry and overcooked. The presentation was just awful, bland with a few green peas, roast potatoes were Luke warm and the turnip was not a great accompaniment to the fish. At 41.00 I expected at least something decent. Extremely disappointed.

They did start by stating the food would take longer due to being short staffed in the kitchen, which is completely understandable. The food was ok, but not really special. The service was not the greatest. We had asked for a carafe of water and the server said ok and never brought one, at times water glasses were empty and they filled them at the table next to ours but not ours, we had ordered bread which never came with the other food, and later we told the server the bread never came but it’s ok, to just take it off the bill since it had not come for over 20 minutes after other food. Nobody came to check if the meal was ok, and later when the bill came the bread was still on it. Not a great experience. Past experiences at feast were good, not anything to write about though.

Amazing food, nice atmosphere and wonderful cocktails. Our go-to restaurant in West Vancouver that never dissappoints. Their beef tartare is done perfectly! Highly recommended!

The dinner menu has a disappointing emphasis on chicken with little in the way of alternate choices for a main course. The website is misleading in suggesting a higher quality of cuisine than the relatively simple cooking that was on offer. Two significant exceptions are noted. The preparation and presentation of the mussels was exceptional. A full and very tasty broth with an ample supply of sourdough bread with which to absorb left overs! And the wine list offers some excellent choice at relatively modest cost. A menu with a better balance of dishes would make this an attractive destination for a pleasant evening meal.

Booked for 1130 opening to get a good table for birthday 1130 bistro still dark 1135 seared at window table but no tables in restaurant set. All bare We were only people eating until 1230 whe one other table was filled The ambience was zero and the prices exorbitant $18 for 2 sides of fries‼️‼️ $21 for 9oz glass of wine The curry mussels we went for were not offered at lunch. Only dinner? I love in the neighbourhood and always loved this bistro. Just so disappointed to see how it has changed. Too bad

We came for brunch, and my wife and I were quite disappointed with the food. I had the mushroom skillet and my wife had the feast benny. The bottom of her dish was filled with water, perhaps scooped along with the poached eggs? Not sure, but it made things soggy. And her bacon seemed to barely touch a pan and was barely cooked. And everything was simply very underseasoned and bland. The service was also quite inattentive despite being very quiet.

We chose this restaurant due to the great reviews and praise on our last night in town. We sat outside under a heater and that was very nice. The gnocchi were pretty great however it was the only option for my vegetarian company, as they were not serving the veggie burger she was looking forward to. The inside of this restaurant is sort of bland, just like the Poke bowl I ordered. Dry ingredients on a plate even if they are arranged nicely does not make a good poke bowl. The prawns I ordered weren’t on there either. There was just a little bowl with sauce on the side. I‘m having a suspicion that the waitress typed the order in wrong on her iPad because I later noticed the receipt said „plain“ for whatever reason. I get it, everyone is new, which she was, but we had already waited an hour for the appetizer too so I didn’t feel like letting everything go back. I did notify the waitress that my prawns were missing and she was very nice but it really didn’t help that moment. Some damage control would have been nice. Comp some fries or a wine and please train your wait staff a bit more before sending them out on the floor. The whole experience was unfortunately pretty underwhelming food and service wise and I honestly wish we had gone back to the beach house right down the street.
