   Food was good, service was good. While making the reservation, I indicated that we were celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary and there was no acknowledgment from the restaurant, which is unlike any other restaurant I’ve been to in celebration of an occasion.

   Appetizers and drinks were good, as was the creme brulee. Shrimp entre was ok but nothing special. Steak (filet) was terrible. Overall really over priced ($38 steak that came with no sides, $5 baked potato extra). Would return but only for appetizers, drinks and dessert.

   The food was pretty average for the price. Which was a little disappointing. The restaurant and bar are very clean and have great ambiance. Drinks are very expensive.

   I reserved 2 spots for the Mothers Day brunch. They had all of us show up at 12:30PM so we stood in line for over 30 mins. I put in a note that we needed a high chair ahead of time, and had to ask 2 different times to get one before just going and getting it myself. No waiters checked on us, we had to clear our own table and get our own drinks each time, and they did have waiters checking on the other tables the whole time, but none came over to check on us. I was under the assumption when I booked this brunch that it would have more of a high class feeling since that is what the Weather Room is known for locally. It was quite the opposite. We all got placed in a huge ballroom area instead of the dining area. It was overall not what was expected, and not a great experience. I will not go back for an event that is similar. Food was just ok, nothing special. They ran out very quickly on items and could not refill them fast enough (probably due to all of us coming in at once and not staggered).

   This may have been the worst dining event of my life. Had to stand in line for 25 minutes to get seated. The reason for reservations was to avoid this. The tables were set up in a large conference hall not the Weather Room. Ambience was of a work conference. Git to the buffet and there was no food. Once it finally showed it was flavorless, dry, and tough. I couldn't cut the prime rib even with a knife. The selection of items was sparse as well. Service was nonexistent. Had to search for servers and didn't get coffee until almost done eating. Self serve water was empty for most of the time and the OJ had a weird taste. Nothing about this experience was good.

   Mother’s Day brunch was a less than ideal experience. Apparently, all reservations were for the same time, so we had to stand (with elderly parents) in a long line before we got seated. Our table was in one of the hotel conference rooms. I was expecting the lovely ambience of The Weather Room, but instead had an industrial, corporate, cafeteria-like experience. We were seated and did not see a server at our table for at least half an hour. The servers were the only way to get coffee, so this was a problem. I think there were *maybe* four servers for this gigantic space with over 50 tables. The food was excellent, but because of the crowd, the dismal server experience, and the depressing seating options, we won’t be back.

   Coffee was good. Mimosa was good. Personnel we encountered were very pleasant, however the event did not appear to be properly staffed. Seating process was chaotic. Needed to have more personnel up front to help with the seating process. Same person was checking people in and also escorting them to seats. Leaving large numbers of customers waiting to be seated and waiting for her to return to front. She should have had help checking people in and had other personnel with her to escort customers to tables. Chicken was cold.

    Our group started with the bread board. 2 had the pork chop which was excellent. One had the filet which was perfect and one had the salad with salmon. Our waitress was excellent as well.

    Beautiful space and nice staff. Food was subpar for the price. We ordered the bruschetta, shrimp, chopped salad, french onion soup, pork chop, and lasagna. The lasagna was the best thing followed by the pork chop everything else was just okay. Overall a cute place but the food needs to be better for the price.

    We were one of two couples in the whole restaurant and it took them 15 mins to make us our drinks. That’s after telling me they couldn’t make the one I chose off their menus without any reason given. The 8oz sirloin was not 8oz much more like 6. The mushroom risotto was good but there was only like 3 mushrooms in it. No dressing or anything on my micro green salad. Overall decent food but overpriced for what we got and not very attentive service.

    In the past this eatery was a delightful and tasty spot for fine dining. Sadly the food and cocktails have taken a nose dive; sadly they were more akin to what you might find at a neighborhood Applebees. The service was friendly and prompt despite the sales pitch at the end to earn dining points.

    Well, the food was OK. There was a couple of awesome dishes and there were a couple of bland dishes. The mushroom risotto for example was super bland and super mushy from being way over cooked. The Cajun chicken pasta was absolutely delicious. The penne pasta was cooked perfectly.

    The ravioli entree was swimming in sauce and was more like a bowl of casserole. Barely any vegetables. Highly dissatisfied with this entree. Would be much better if ravioli were laid out on a platter and lightly drizzled with the sauce then have larger pieces of grilled vegetables that are on the side. The filet was over cooked, although we didn’t say anything. French onion soup was good although it tasted like it had too much sugar in it. Drinks from the bar were good though! Overall, we were completely underwhelmed and feel the hype online for this restaurant did not match the quality of food we received.

    Our expeience at The Weather Room was outstanding. I had the burger with buffalo cauliflower and my wife had the chicken sandwhich with fries. Our food was cooked perfectly and tasted great. My wife had the blueberry mojito, and was very impressed. She was still talking about it the next morning! Highly recommend the Weather Room for your next night out!

    It was difficult to get a reservation through a manager for a group larger than 6. We ended up having 2 family members decide not to join us so we made the reservation for 6 on Open Table instead. We were stuck in a corner in the bar area. There were no other guests there. Our server was great! The food was ok. The entrees were large portions so we were glad that a few of us had decided to share. We took the chocolate cake to go and it was amazing!

    Best service we have had in Topeka in quite some time. I believe her name is Bybee. Adorable decor! Yummy cocktails. Hubby's steak was overcooked and mine undercooked. We both ordered MR. He got a ribeye and I got a filet. Otherwise, for the price, we were happy diners

    Service was excellent. The food was good. My only gripe was the candied pork chop dish, the porkchop itself was probably the best pork chop I've ever had but the apple coleslaw just was not very good. I like coleslaw alot generally but this slaw was just a few apple chunks a ton of red onion and a sauce. My wife ordered a st patties Day themed cocktail but didn't think there was much alcohol in it though it did taste good. Steak tips were great, and the buffalo cauliflower was awesome.     The restaurant looked promising from its photos and menu. When we arrived, it was too brightly lit, the service was exceedingly slow, and the food ever so marginal. My salmon was literally swimming in cream sauce. My party’s pasta dishes looked dry. Large portions do not make up for poor quality. The best thing we had was the bruschetta. The focaccia was a joke. Slightly charred bread with a bowl of olive oil and vinegar. Will not be returning.

    The food was absolutely amazing. The risotto is a must and the steak could be cut with a butter knife. The had so no shows for staffing, but our waitress was very good and very gracious. Overall a great experience

    Ok restaurant. Poor service, entrees arrived less than 5 min after we got our appetizer (long wait for that) then long wait for dessert. Not that busy. Lasagna was barely reheated. Salmon was covered in salty white sauce.

    Took my wife out for a Valentines dinner and couldn't of picked a better location. Very nice decor and very romantic for a Valentines night out. I had the beef tips and she had the salmon with mushroom risoto. Food was very good, as was the service and the hostess got us seated very quickly. Make sure you get your reservations in early, becasue this restaurant fills up quickly. I also highly recommend the Weather Room for a casual family night out.

    If you are needing more salt in your diet, order the salmon and you will get way more than you will ever need. Salt was overwhelming. The salmon was dry. If you like cheese, you will like the risotto. It is VERY cheesy. I am a fan of cheese so I liked it but my husband did not. He felt it was Mac and cheese with rice instead of noodles. Also, the drinks were half the size of a drink you would get somewhere else and double the price. We were expecting better food and beverage for the price. Our waitress was the best part of the experience. She was fantastic! Ericka was awesome!
