   We didn’t realize that on Saturday, brunch is served in place of lunch. However, we ordered Brussels Sprouts, which were delicious, and burgers and fries. The burger didn’t have much flavor, and the meat patties are way too small for the Brioche bun. The service wasn’t great. Our server was nice but unattentive and eventually, we went to find her to ask for more water. The ambition was nice and the decor is colorful. I would consider giving it another try but with so many restaurants to choose from, a better first impression would have been nice.

   I love everything about this location! The décor has a "Charleston" feel to it. Both inside and outside seating options are excellent. The lunch menu is small, but my party of four easily found options on the menu which pleased us. We could not have asked for a better experience!

    The food is always outstanding and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The old-fashioned is in our top two favorites anywhere, and our favorite in Lexington. Of the three times we’ve dined at Fiddletree, the ambience has been perfect twice. There has been live acoustic guitar each time, and the musicians were very talented. The only thing I would suggest is being careful about the volume of the amplifier, especially the bass. It was too loud our last experience, but we enjoyed the music once we got away from the amp. Almost any place you dine anymore plays music far too loud. Fiddletree is on to something really good by trying to balance great food, drinks and service with entertainment that doesn't detract from the dining experience.

    We ate at fiddle tree for brunch April 30 for my cousins birthday. We had a party of about 15 so Elizabeth honestly did the best she could. The drinks were great! They also have bottomless mimosas on Sunday although this was never mentioned, now you know. The bad: The shrimp and grits, was the most expensive thing on the brunch menu and by far the most lacking, maybe it was the cook idk but no one in the city serves better shrimp and grits than Carson’s! The breakfast skillet dish was also lacking. It was sub par at best. The good: The live music, the vibe and ambiance is top tier. The flank steak proportion was small but no one had anything to say bad about the flavor or the dish! The chicken and waffles minus the waffle, served with pancakes was a group favorite. The all American breakfast was good as well! So for the most part it was great!! My advice say no to the shrimp and grits and the breakfast skillet!

    Reserved a sofa for brunch. Was given a table in the middle of the room. Service was slow despite few people being in restaurant. Waitress seemed distracted. Coffee was brought in a paper cup because “mugs weren’t clean”? Food was lack luster, small servings and overall it was just fair. Too bad place is cute..

    Seated 1/2 hour past the reservation time. The restaurant was loud and crowded. Service was fine, nothing special. We ended up just ordering tapas of a few appetizers. Did not feel welcome, and it appeared that the staff was overloaded.

    It was our first time coming here, they were very busy but the managers and servers were all very kind and attentive whilst being very busy with all the other guest in the restaurant that night. The drinks, food, and atmosphere were all fantastic! We enjoyed it and will be back again!

    The most energetic staff of any restaurant I have ever been too. I got there in time for tables turn over. Everyone for manger all the way down worked tirelessly to get the tables ready for the next clients. Our waitress was wonderful. Worked hard to make us feel comfortable. Her lively personality added to the experience.

    Everything was okay w us. We told the staff we were in no hurry. 15 people group in front of us. Great. Please be aware - not posted anywhere- there is a 2 hour table span. Set your watch. 😳 Management is timing you. I gulped the last sip of my wine….not crowded as there were many seats open at the bar - where we were advised we should reseat ourselves. 😂 We won’t be reseating ourselves - or coming back.

    Nice location and ambiance but underwhelming food and average service. Ordered crab cakes appetizer but was then told that they had run out of them already (early dinner). Ordered spinach, artichoke and crab dip with pita chips. Arrived with tortilla chips with salsa and sour cream and dip. (No comment from wait staff about change.) No flavor in the dip and it was extremely hard to eat with tortilla chips. The salsa was the best part but really didn’t go with the dip. Confused in the kitchen? Fried chicken was crispy on the outside but tough on the inside. Pasta dishes were just ok, lacked full interesting flavors. Nothing to inspire a return trip.

    The service and staff were very nice and the food was excellent. However I ordered an old fashion for my drink and asked for a rye instead of bourbon. I was not told that the upcharge for that was $16. I did not ask for any special rye either. It would have been nice to be informed of that.

    Place is beautiful. The service was great but they only had one waitress. I got the steak and eggs and it was underwhelming. Even the garlic butter on the steak was not seasoned. However the Deviled Eggs were amazing.

    First time here & we Enjoyed our evening. My only complaint is about my reservation….. When I made it, it gave me the option of High table or regular. I selected regular but when we arrived we were seated at a high table. When I questioned it I’m told that’s all they have. Why do you ask if you’re not going to honor what I request?

    Just getting out and finding new places to eat is a service to the community itself. Glad that we went to Fiddletree to try it out. The 2 hosts and our waitress were very friendly and full of smiles. So that goes a long way. The menu was adequate, but I was concerned with the prices not being listed online, how high of a bill I would receive, but it was within reason. I had The Vegetarian, and it was a cold sandwich but somehow, I thought it might be served hot (oh well, that's on me....). It came with a side salad, which was good. However, the champagne vinaigrette was a bit too light, too subtle and both my friend and I needed to ask for ranch dressing. Overall, it was a nice experience and the front patio outside seating area looked inviting.

    Perfect place for Ladies Lunch! The craft cocktails are always lovely and the food is delicious. Price for the quantity is still slightly off for Lexington, but acceptable for hotel restaurant cost. Our server was absolutlely wonderful.

    This was our first experience with Fiddletree, and we were not disappointed at all. Ate there for our anniversary and they had everything set up and the atmosphere was fantastic. Wish we had also taken advantage of the Elwood, but that didn't work out.

    It was a great restaurant. The outside and inside were decorated very nice. The restaurant and parking area was clean and well maintained. The food was really good. We had brunch. I had the chicken and waffles and it was so good! I will definitely come back.

    Overall great experience for first time dining here. I did reserve a conservatory sofa and was not granted that, not a big deal but definitely would have been a little more cozy as our table was right in the walk through for the hotel. Also there was a live singer which I have no problem with but for the 2 hours we were there he did not take a break, a break without the loud live singer would have been nice but again minor things and plan on dining here again. The gnocchi was very good but I would plan on getting an appetizer or something to go with as it wasn’t completely filling.

    Absolutely a wonderful date night experience. The ambiance was fantastic, and our server Remi was a rock star. Live music from a local Central KY duet, very nice and engaging! We will definitely be returning!
