Popped in as a last second reservation and I am so glad I did. Fig Leaf is inside a hotel. The lobby (where Fig Leaf is) is an homage to Womens’ rights and movements. The anchor is the portrait of the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg made from colored tampon applicators. But enough about the amazing ambience. I just happened to arrive at happy hour and got a discounted glass of house rosé. Yum. I ordered the Zena Ginsburger. Made from a crisped beef patty, jalapeños, onions, Chihuahua cheese, mojo aioli, crispy onions on a toasted Brioche bun, I loved this burger. The jalapeños had a nice bite. The flavor combo was fantastic. And at $10 at happy hour it was a great bargain.

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner date at Fog Leaf Bar & Lounge before heading to a candlelight concert across the street. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt cozy and inviting, perfect for a pre-concert evening. While the valet parking was a bit slow, everything else about our experience more than made up for it. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. My wife ordered the “Za’atar Chicken Skewers” (tender yogurt-marinated chicken paired with pearl couscous, spiced carrots, almonds, and a touch of preserved lemon demi-glaze). I had the “Ropa Vieja” (a flavorful tomato-braised flank steak served with sweet plantains, white rice, black beans, and roasted peppers). Both dishes were bursting with flavor and perfectly balanced. The cocktails were another highlight. I ordered the “Scarlet Reign”, a creative mix of Reposado tequila, pomegranate, spiced date syrup, lemon, and sherry and it was outstanding. My wife’s custom drink, made especially for her by the bartender, was just as delightful. Our server was fantastic, friendly, attentive, and even offered to take multiple pictures of us, which made the evening feel that much more special. Overall, Fog Leaf Bar & Lounge is a gem. Delicious food, thoughtful cocktails, and great service made for a memorable night. We’ll definitely be returning soon.

The food was so delicious and super flavorful! They have the best deal on bottomless mimosas. And the servers were so sweet and brought out a slice of cheesecake for my birthday! I will definitely be returning!

Ambience was good, food was a small portion for a lot and so was drinks , I sat at the bar . The art work was amazing. I don’t know if it was because I sat at the bar was why service wasn’t so good with my food coming out cause it took a while . My bar tender was good.

I took my girlfriend to Figleaf for a Valentine's Day dinner. We were excited to try a new place, and the reviews were great. We reviewed the menu ahead of time and picked out a few things we wanted to try. Upon arriving, Figleaf was mostly empty. We were seated by the hostess, and a bartender came over to give us water and take our drink orders. First issue was that we did not get our drinks for over thirty minutes, despite how empty the place was. Second issue was that the menu being offered was extremely limited and not at all the same as advertised online. There were only two appetizer options and maybe five meal choices. We also did not seem to have a server - a few different people stopped by throughout the night with seemingly zero communication amongst them. We finally put in our food order and ordered a second round of drinks. Another thirty minutes went by, and we still had not received our drinks or food. Someone came to ask us how things were going, and I mentioned that we had been waiting for quite a bit. The woman, possibly a manager, apologized and told us our drinks would come out immediately and be comped. However, it was another ten minutes before we got the drinks, and when they came out, they were not the right drinks. A few minutes later, someone else came by with the correct drink order and was very confused about the other drinks. Our food came out about 45 minutes after we ordered. The food was fine; nothing exceptional, and at this point, we wanted to just leave. When our bill came, the drinks had not been taken off. I brought the bill to the woman who had told us they'd be comped, and she went to print a new bill. In the meantime, a server showed up to our table and dropped off someone else's credit card and bill (yikes). I handed it back immediately. We got our bill at last with apologies from the manager and both rounds of drinks removed. Overall, a chaotic and disappointing Valentine's Day experience.
