This is a great restaurant. The food was delicious, the cocktails were outstanding and the service was above. Our server knew the menu so well and did a great job talking about her personal favourites. I would highly recommend and we will be back!

What a great place, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and had nothing to complain about. Service was excellent and so was each plate of food. Will definitely go back as a favourite in Calgary.

Great food, great service, tasty cocktails, and nice ambiance. I will return! However, only if we have a full two hours for a leisurely dinner. Everything was great, but the entrees did take a while to come out. Bonus: There is a champagne vending machine downstairs - so fun.🥂

The food was amazing. The cocktails were wonderful. We were served by the kindest woman, I wish I had gotten her name - a beautiful blond who made the dinner so special for my family. This is a great place. It was a dinner I will not forget!

Had a great evening at fine print. We had a lovely server Megan and bartender Patrick. All the food we ordered was amazing, especially the tomato feta salad & the salmon main course. Shout out to Chef Holly and her staff for making the great food. Very impressed, we will be back soon!

The only minus I have is that the table wasn't cleared between courses i.e. appetizer to main. When it got really busy our server had too many tables.

This was a new restaurant for our group. We thought we would try it out. Wow! The food was great, the service was top notch, and the ambiance was perfect. Great job! I highly recommend the ‘Tempura Greens’ and I’m not a fan of greens. However they were delicious!

Added note to the reservation that it was our anniversary but it was not mentioned during our visit until prompted. When booking reservation, I was asked if there was anything special required for our anniversary and I replied “surprise me.” Nothing ever came of this request. A little disappointingly unfortunately. Attention to detail gives you a 5 star rating

I am surprised by all of the excellent reviews. We went for lunch and perhaps that is why our experience didn’t match the other reviewers. Maybe dinner is better? We had a number of issues with the food. To start, I ordered a cappuccino while I waited for my guest. It was served in a large cup, mostly milk, no foam and was very weak. Seemed to be from a Nespresso machine as compared to true espresso, which is fine except it cost $6.00 and I thought for a higher end restaurant they would have true espresso. My friend came and ordered a latte. It came in a smaller cup, was much stronger and was closer to what I would expect a cappuccino to be? In trying to decide what to have for lunch we were advised by our server how amazing the lunch special was - beef short rib on saffron rice with vegetables and tzatziki. We ordered it and were disappointed to get beef we couldn’t cut. Beef short rib is a cheaper cut and cooking it low and slow is the whole point. It should be tender. It was also served on rice with 2 or 3 tomatoes? That is the side of vegetables? We ended up sending it back. In the end we ordered the Salmon Salad, which was a large piece of salmon with a few pieces of lettuce on the side. The ‘salad’ had little to no flavour and the salmon was seasoned with salt. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t interesting at all. The manager was very concerned about whether they had met our expectations and stopped us before we left. At this point lunch was 1.5 hours during a work day. I explained that it was mediocre and explained what I am saying in here. He became very defensive and almost rude. If you don’t want the truth, don’t ask. Overall I won’t be back. There are many delicious and interesting places in this city that have excellent service and food. I can make salmon with salt and side lettuce at home.

We have dined here previously earlier in the summer and we really enjoyed everything we had. This time on a Monday they were a bit slammed and not enough staff. Our sever was pleasant and knowledgeable. The delay between appetizers and mains were long due to a private party. They did comp us a sampling of their desserts. There a few stand out items here that should be ordered lobster salad yes it’s worth the $$$ and the tempura green beans. The servers are attentive and on their game. We sat in the corner near the bar where the temperature was very hard to regulate too hot to too cold with us wearing coats. I would avoid that table.

Unlike many restaurants that attempt to pull off something unique with branding, ambiance, and food combined, Fine Print delivered. This was one of the top 2 best meals we had on a 10 day trip covering much of western Canada. Our host was Michael and he was exceptional. He was so passionate about the restaurant, the food, the drinks and making sure we were well cared for we couldn’t help but enjoy the experience. Calgary is a long way from Baton Rouge, but we may go back just to eat with Michael at Fine Print. I suggest you ask for him.

My daughter and I ate here Friday night, and had such a great dining experience we didn’t want the evening to end. Our server was wonderful- friendly, helpful, not constantly hovering (though somehow my wine glass was never empty!) and we never once felt rushed during our time there. FinePrint is warm and inviting and I happily noticed that everyone was “dressed”. Not cocktail attire, except for the lucky table in the private room (how fun!). Hard to find a place like that any more, but it certainly heightens the feel good factor. Oh- and the champagne- everyone was drinking it! Either from the adorable vending machine down the stairs or by the glass. Also, the wine list is very approachable and every table we saw had bottles to enjoy. We had our meal in delicious increments. My daughter, never having tried scallops, is now ruined for them and convinced she’ll never have them better anywhere! From the perfect bite of the caviar on toast, the fantastic take on Mediterranean ravioli, and the cheese board that looked a bit stark till you tried the house made cracker and preserves (you really should!) and everything else we had to eat and drink, it was a truly memorable supper. FinePrint was the whole special package we were looking for in an evening- a cozy, upscale feast that left us pleasantly full of food and all the good feels and anticipating the next time we can come and do it all over again.

2nd visit to restaurant. First time highly recommend. 2nd visit disappointed. Entrée obviously sat as waiter became busy. Kitchen staff brought to us and food was just warm. Very disappointed given the prices of entree.

Good atmosphere and generally a great experience. One small criticism, bread would be a good addition to mop up some dishes, eg, tuna dish and soup, crackers didn’t cut it!

What an incredible experience! We sat at the chef’s table, and it was a memorable meal. Everyone was attentive and friendly while engaging in conversation about the food. The food was INSANELY DELICIOUS! We ate our way through the menu and loved every one of the choices. I can’t rate this high restaurant enough! Choose this place, you won’t be disappointed.

We chose to sit outside, will try inside next time. The cocktail menu was great, cleverly named and creative cocktails. The sablefish was excellent and the coconut panna cotta was divine. We will definitely go back.

We had the most amazing experience celebrating our anniversary at FinePrint! The service and care was outstanding from the moment that we arrived. They made our evening a special celebration and we are very grateful for our time there. We are so grateful for the suggestions and attention to detail with helping us with our wine choice for the evening. The food was created with incredible care. We had the Alberta Bison & Truffle tartare to start. It was perfect and one of the most amazing tartares we had ever had. All of the flavours and textures were created with a perfect balance. We also had the pan seared sablefish filet and honey almond glazed duck for dinner. Both were melt in your mouth, cooked delicately with perfect crisp as well. The coconut panna cotta was a perfect way to end the dinner with delicate notes. An absolutely delightful experience! I've already made another reservation with friends because I've been telling everyone about our experience. Thank you for making our night so special!

The restaurant was absolutely fantastic. Starting off with the scallops really set the tone for the rest of our dinner. The food was all prepared to our liking and the steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare. My girlfriend had the ratatouille ravioli and says that it was “exquisite”. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone who asks.

We had a marvelous 41st anniversary dinner at FinePrint with my sister-in-law and her husband. Service was excellent: attentive but not intrusive. We shared the gruyere cheese puffs, deviled eggs and tempura beans. All were great! Two of us had duck, one salmon and one chicken. Again, all the mains were perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. We had a great evening and would recommend FinePrint for any special occasion, even if it is just celebrating that it is Saturday night!
