Went out for a birthday dinner. We made a reservation although upon arrival our table wasn’t ready, we waited 10 minutes for a table then were finally guided downstairs to the basement into a tight corner beside the service elevator. When the hostess walked up to our table we found that the table still wasn’t set and had a dirty table cloth and dishes on it. The hostess then lead us back to the server station where we waited another 5 minutes for our table to be set. Took 10 minutes for the waitress to get us drinks. Lots of young staff working that didn’t seem to know anything about working in a restaurant. They didn’t ask us if we were celebrating anything so we weren’t provided anything special for it being a birthday. Because we were sat in corner near the service elevator we constantly had servers running by with plates of food banging and spilling dishes during our entire meal. The food was good, I would recommend the seafood linguini, however the overall experience was extremely poor.

We thought that the food was very good would highly recommend the seafood linguine...Our waitress Samantha was very friendly and bubbly she made our night..Thank you Samantha keep up the great service I just wish all servers could be like you😁

This was our first experience at Finns and we were impressed. The food came quickly even though it was aFriday at 5:30 and everything was delicious. The service was friendly and efficient and we loved the window view of the ocean and soft music in the background. We will definitely be visiting again!

IAppreciate that business, especially restaurants are having the tough time with expenses and labour costs. But tonight I left Finn’s feeling very let down. I ordered the Sable fish which came with mashed potatoes. The portion was unbelievably small at a cost of $42.00. The portion couldn’t have been more than 3oz of the fish and perhaps 6oz of potatoes with a little bit of spinach. The staff was very professional and friendly, but that won’t be enough to justify a return visit.
