   Food was good, rock fish excellent. Didn’t care particularly for the overcooked pesto risotto underneath Anna was a super server: attentive and helpful in many ways. One glass of scotch arrived with evident fingerprints. Panna cotta to die for. A tad too noisy to hold a conversation. Maybe they should work on that. Table by the window offered a glimpse of the sunset, and added charm to the occasion. Better than other places tried in the area.

   We were in Victoria for just one night and I am so glad we ate dinner at Finn’s. A very beautiful setting, delicious food and an accommodating and friendly wait staff made for a wonderful evening. Would absolutely return and would highly recommend.

   Great service and food was great- had the Steelhead which was cooked to perfection- too windy to sit outside but nice seats on water if the weather is nice- popular place- make reservation!!

    We were a bit disappointed with our visit. The food and service were on point. However the blond hostess was rude when we arrived. In terms of ambience the main building is great, but we were seated on the side porch behind the sign so I couldn’t even look out. This was a shame especially since I had reserved a long time before. I had been looking forward to this meal but I was overall disappointed with the experience.

    Impeccable atmosphere and service. The waterfront location is great too. I had the oysters to start and they were probably the best I’ve ever had. For our mains we tried the tuna and the rockfish - in both dishes the actual fish was fresh and cooked to perfection, but the accompaniments (risotto & chickpea cake) were not quite there so wouldn’t order again.

    Very fun place, sat on patio with beautiful view. Inside restaurant seemed noisy but fun. Patio was great, food was very good, service was very friendly. Had prawn tacos and fish and chips, both very good. Nice time

    First time in Canada for our 30th anniversary Chose Finn’s and we were NOT disappointed. We were welcomed with “Happy Anniversary”. A table was reserved by the window looking at the water and our server also wished us a Happy Anniversary. Everyone was really nice and attentive. The drinks were delicious and the food was terrific. We were happy with every aspect of our dinner from the time we walked in until we finished out desert. The ambiance was relaxing and perfect for a celebration. We would recommend Finn’s to anyone looking to find a great place to eat downtown.

    Outstanding experience: went there to celebrate our 13th anniversary (we went on our 1st date there almost 15 yrs ago), and we were well taken care of by Mia. The hummus starter was delicious. We both had the seafood linguini; it was fantastic, pasta was perfect. The entrees were so filling we regrettably had no room for dessert Great table with a view, made the occasion that much more memorable, thank you

    Overall this was a good experience. The food was excellent and the staff were lovely. I have a pet hate about the table being cleared whilst some members of the party are still eating. In my opinion, it is good manners, that everyone should be finished before plates are removed. I felt that we were being rushed, and asked the staff to leave the plates. I then sensed a change in atmosphere which felt uncomfortable and sort of ruined the evening for me.

    Liam our waiter was friendly and informed. He kept a notebook on detailed items so he could answer obscure question. He was attentive and could carry on a conversation. Food was very good especially the lemon dessert.

    Had a nice quiet table at first when seated at 5:30 but saw tables/chairs beside us being moved to accommodate 8-10; asked to be moved before they came. Thankfully, worked out. I’d say overall, tables too close as our new “neighbours” reeked of perfume and that was cloying. But with cancer, I was perhaps overly sensitive to proximity on any level…gotta be fair. Be aware of open windows on outside decks; smell of aviation fuel from Harbour Air was strong at times. Food was great as were cocktails…just read it all online before coming…heard too many “entitled” questions to painfully polite servers. They deserve medals for some of the things they had to endure. Have a great dinner but wasn’t one of those “OMG, gotta come back!” experiences..4 out of 5.

    I made reservations here for my husband's birthday it was our 1st time eating here. The waiter was personable and took great care of us. Our cab was late so I called and they marked it down and saved our table. Only 5 min late. When I made reservations I asked please get us good seating and we had great seating with view overlooking water. Fabulous

    The food and presentation were excellent. The male waiter was training a young lady, he introduced himself and the the young lady and they both were absolutely fantastic! We fell in love with both of them! I would appreciate it very much if you would congratulate them for me, as it was my 80th birthday celebrated with my niece and her husband from Manitoba!     Food was OK but we certainly ate better at other restaurants in Victoria during our stay. This is a very casual, not fine dining experience and as such, I found it expensive.

    We had about 5 people total wait on my Grandmother and I from hostess to manager and they all went above and beyond. Finn’s is one of my favourite places to go for crab or take visitors to, and because of this experience I will always go to Finns above anywhere else.

    We were greeted warmly upon arrival , taken to our table where we were I try to our waitstaff Eli. We started out with a Manhattan while enjoying the pleasure of being back in Victoria! Finn’s is one of our favorite spots whether booking through Open Table or dropping in for a lunch or dinner. Great staff! Meghan took over for Eli. We ordered the garlic flatbread, seafood linguine and a green salad with Ahi Tuna. We enjoyed the food, ambience and we will be back next year! Ohh. We ordered the flourless ganache and lemon tart to go for a later indulgence 🤗

    Food was great. Was the hottest day so far and where we were sat there was no air movement at all. I know it’s out of the staffs control but I suggest fans are put in for more movement. Part of our group left without finishing their meal due to the lack of airflow as they became sick. That put a huge damper on our meal. I would not sit there again in summer, if that was my only option I’d choose another establishment. But the food was on par as always.

    Had my birthday dinner here and another friend showed up, we didn’t have space or a reservation for more but they pulled up another table for us. Great service, kind servers, great drinks, most amazing cake I’ve ever had, was on the house for my birthday.
