We came to see the band. I made a 7:30 reservation but was late because of the Santa Clause parade having blocked off every road!. They still accommodated us. The servicer was amazing and my burger was perfection.

Always love the patio but this time they had a live band that I thought was just slightly to loud.. had to move further away from the band just to hold a conversation. Food was excellent, server was alright.. felt like she didnt come to the table often enough... we ran out of wine and I had to go looking for her to get another bottle. Food as always was perfect. Fish tacos are amazing here.

We haven’t eaten at Fionn MacCool’s Oshawa a number of times and the food has always been tasty. We were four adults — two of us had the Cobb salad which was huge and very fresh. One had the chicken Caesar salad which was also tasty and fresh crisp greens. The fourth person enjoyed two appetizer as his meal. The price are reasonable and there is also a wide selection of mixed adult beverages. The wine list could be a little better but given that it is a pub perhaps most are not looking for wide variety of wine. Will definitely go again

We were fortunate to get a last minute reservation for 5 on a Saturday night. Service and food were excellent. A musician started performing at around 7:30 which was nice. We'll go back when we're in town.

All 15 of us had amazing service from Olivia! The food was good, the atmosphere was great! Everyone’s happy on St Patty’s Day. Was hoping for more authentic Irish ☘️ music. It’s always about the music, drink, and company on this festive day. Please consider Irish performers for next year.

Food was great but took a long time to get a server to our table. We had requested a table which would be half booth and half chairs. Instead, the hostess told us to take a table that had only chairs and was right next to the door. In winter time in Canada in February, the last table you want would be next to the door. It’s not just the door but the table was in the line of traffic for every customer and wait staff coming or going. After having to be a tad demanding, the hostess reluctantly gave us the table requested during our reservation made two days prior and telephone confirmation the previous day. I realized some places are good at taking the reservation but don’t deliver what they promised.

Thai was our first visit to Fionn MacCools after hearing they had a vegetarian menu. Decent selection of vegetarian pub food. My husband had the nachos, and I have the poke bowl. Both were generous servings of deliciousness. Our server was attentive, and friendly, making sure everything was good. Two for the Show was playing ( Thursday nights they have live music) and they were both funny and entertaining. Overall we had a great time!

Our server’s shift ended before we were finished. We paid our bill and our server said she would pass us to another server which never happened so the plates just sat in front of us for over an hour and no one came by to offer us another drink or check on us.

We loved the ambiance and service was good but the fish and chips were not hot, fries were rubbery and the “coleslaw” had no dressing. The waitress was young and we didn’t complain but sadly we won’t return

We waited 15 mins before any server came to our table to see if anyone had come to take our drink orders. Food took longer to come than normal. The restaurant wasn’t at full capacity. The food and service was as good as past visits when it has been a lot busier. Not sure if they were short staff but they could have mentioned it and we would have understood.

We enjoy pub food and Fionn MacCool’s is one of our favourites. The steak and mushroom bowl is delicious … the steak is tender and lots of it as well as the mushrooms. The gravy is rich, thick and very flavourful. Served with a choice of salad or fries.

We went to Fionn MacCool's for St. Patrick's Day and had 4 different meals. All of our meals were very good, just one plate needed to be warmed up but otherwise we enjoyed them. Our service was prompt and drinks were also excellent. I am lactose intolerant and would have enjoyed a coffee perhaps lactose free milk or almond milk could be added to the menu.

This is one of my favourite places to go with friends. Great staff, great atmosphere and they make the best food. I’m so happy that they make something for me (old style chicken fingers) that are no longer on the menu. They make me feel special every time I go there!

Our server was amazing. Very attentive and friendly. Also the manager (?) came around asking the tables if everything was okay. He also pitched in to help in any way he could. Excellent customer service. Had the bacon cheeseburger and it was awesome.
