Great place to spend a good afternoon or evening. We sat at the patio and there is plenty of seating, they had heaters on top which was very efficient. The staff was very polite and helpful, service was excellent. The only thing that was a bit off were the butter chicken nachos, the gravy didn't taste good. But overall, great experience. I'll certainly visit again.

The main complaint I have on my first visit is that we were not told when we walked in that they had decided to close early on Victoria Day. When our server came to us she told us the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes (7pm) Our group was still looking at the drinks menu but had to rush to order everything. There was another group of about 12 people and they were very upset with this last minute information and they left. We got our drinks and food which were good but didn’t finish our meals because we were rushed.

Live music was ROARING loud. We would have stayed longer and ordered more food and drinks. But we couldn’t even yell at each other loud enough to hear a word. We laughed after that anyone on a first date would’ve spent their first couple hours together screaming at each other 😂. Would have been a great experience, otherwise.

I went with my husband for a night out without the kids (finally!) We went to see the band that was playing that night. At first we asked to be seated where we could have a good view of the band but we’re placed behind a divider. When our server came we asked again if we could be moved and he was very accommodating. We actually ended up seated to where the band members were. They were great and we had a nice chat with a couple of them between sets. Overall a great night out. Food and drinks were good and reasonably priced.

Our server, Maria, was very attentive and helpful. There was a draft coming through the window, and she offered to move us, but we stayed at the table. Overall it was an enjoyable experience as always, and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back soon!

One person did enjoy the Reuben sandwich. Second person did not enjoy the burger it was overcooked and dry. I ordered the steak and mushroom bowl and it was far too salty to eat. I only ate about 1/4 and when the waitress came to pick up the plates she never asked how the food was or why I had left so much.Not very many true Irish options on the menu either

This was our first visit to Fionn MacCool’s. It was just for a casual family dinner. We arrived and were greeted at the door…after our vaccination status was validated we were seated. At first the hostess brought us to a table right next to a rowdy group of guys despite the entire dining room being empty. We had to ask to be moved and even then they were hesitant but moved us to a different table. Our waiter came to greet us and took our drink order. He then returned to take our appetizer order. Our appetizer took almost 30 minutes to be served despite the restaurant being empty. Finally we received our appetizer order and placed our dinner order. Our dinner then took almost 40 minutes to be served to us again the restaurant was not busy. Despite all this, the food was very tasty and portions were perfect. Other than the super slow service, dinner was good. We likely will not return again and will likely not refer others. Sorry but I can understand it the place was super busy but not when it wasn’t.

Haven't been to Fionn's much since COVID. Made a res for 4 people. The sound from the live music band was unreasonably loud for way too long. We planned an night of drinks, appies and conversation... asked for the bill once our drinks came. There were no convos to be had at my table of four. It was just repeated yelling across the table because of the noise level from the band. Despite sitting away from and out of sight of the band, we could still barely hear each other. Sore throats and headaches were our take away from yelling across the table at Fionn's. I apologized to the server. He apologized back stating he would have left as well because it was so loud and unenjoyable. Hurried our drinks down, paid and left. We walked across the parking lot to the Keg and enjoyed our night there instead with convos, many drinks and many appies.

Food quality was horrible. Nachos were tiny, spinach dip was good but served cold with a handful of broken chips. We were given no cutlery, napkins or plates. Complete waste of money.

It was great. The only problem was We wanted to sit closer we could see the band and they held a table for 8 for two hours and no one showed up. The girl at the front kindly split up the table and moved us for the last set. All staff was courteous and service smooth. Fun casual place!

The host that greeted us said we didn’t need to show our vaccine receipt when we took them out to show her (to follow the law). I then couldn’t get the thought out of my head that people in there may not be fully vaccinated as they weren’t asked for proof. Servers were wearing their masks under their chin while going table to table. The live band playing was so loud I couldn’t even hear myself talk.
