Here at Fire + Water we are very fortunate to be settled in one of the best four diamond hotels in the Pacific North West.
We find inspiration in local, sustainable, fresh ingredients that are abundant along the Pacific Coast, where the climate provides many a delicacy in our wild and not so wild spaces.

The food was not what we expected from a restaurant in a Marriott. The coleslaw seemed like it came in a bag and just used bottled dressing to be honest. The calamari from the fisherman's wharf is actually way better. The menu itself wasn't really exciting. I paid $150 and got served mediocre food when I should have just eaten at Cactus Club. So dissapointing.

We went there for mother's day dinner. We were expecting a cool place to eat, unfortunately it was very warm there because of the patio was open. Food and service great. They really need to address the issue with the heat it was almost to warm to eat dinner.

My steak was cooked as asked and tasty but very chewy . Not tender like I expected for 8oz at $48. They comped a desert. Otherwise it was Ok except the house made ice cream was underwhelming., lacking flavour. Crème Brûlée was excellent. Service was good.

Food was awful and overpriced for what we received in terms of taste… ordered both salad options (house salad and Caesar) and the salmon entree and pasta entree… salads were bland and watery… pasta was very oily and salmon was over spiced … portion sizes were fine though Service was fine … the waiter was nice but very slow… took almost an hour to get our entrees so we were quite hungry by the time we got them… Will not be going back

Food was not usual standard. Salad was limp, not crispy, no sunflower seeds, appeared to have been sitting around. Halibut was dry, hard crispy around the edges…overcooked? Clump of raspberry sauce on top was full of seeds. Not very appetizing. Very poor presentation….not worth the hefty price. Seafood linguini was average. Best part of the meal,,,waitress was exceptional! Won’t be rushing back to Fire & Water restaurant at Victoria Marriott!

We were worried that being in a hotel it would be crowded, noisy and not really high end but were pleasantly surprised. We got complimentary glasses of champagne for our anniversary, food was the dine around menu and it was a good array of choices and delicious, service excellent!

We had an early dinner here for New Year’s Eve. Our server was friendly and professional. We first had the smoked salmon sampler, which was beautifully presented and delicious. We then had the special roasted halibut with a miso and ginger sauce, but the fish was very dry. We were disappointed with it and informed the server. She was apologetic and said she’d pass that on to the chef. It would have been nice to be offered compensation, such as a free drink or credit. None was offered. Otherwise, the other items on the plate were interesting and flavorful.

Lovely service but the food was not what we’d hoped for. We both had the grilled chicken burger - mine was fine and my husbands was very very over cooked. We waited close to an hour from ordering to receiving our food, despite the emptiness of the restaurant. The bill seemed high for the quality of the experience. Likely will not return.

The restaurant is in the lobby of the busy hotel. We were the first ones to brave it on the patio that night (although we were soon followed by others). The patio had plenty of heaters and was very comfortable. We loved our food, and especially the cocktails. Would definitely try them again.

Fortunate to stay at the Victoria Marriott Inner Harbor - so nice to sit outside at there in-house restaurant. Sound of water and great service made for a delightful outdoor patio dinner. Had the curry dish with halibut and scallops - yummy!! Hank our waiter was attentive and friendly enhancing our experience. Online now understand the great reviews. Any recommendation - would request arms of nice outdoor chairs be cleaned - my one complaint.

This restaurant is more of a lounge or pub style with upscale food. Happy hour till 6 pm is a good deal on beer and wine. Food was good. Bread not the best. Service very good. Patio will be nice when weather is good

While the food was delicious, the prices were a bit high. For example, the rather small salmon entree plate was 38.00. I had mussels and a salad, clocking in at 34.00 combined. Both were delicious, but after 2 drinks each at 14.00 a piece, (2 of which were local beer) the total bill was $200.00, including tip. Not quite what I'd expected for just 2 of us.
