Firkin on Yonge

The food was extremely salty.. I ordered the same thing I've ordered cajun dusted wings at other firkin and the amount of coating and salt was extreme at this location! The server seemed to be rushing us out asking if we wanted the bill 3 times while our drinks were over half full. It was not busy as there were 3 tables of 4 around us empty so it wasn't like they needed us out.
Good food at a reasonable price! Service was quick and friendly
Excellent food and service. A great place to get together with friends, however you need to talk loudly because of the noise level. It’s expected with a pub though.
Excellent servers, fairly priced drinks, decent food. VERY loud though
The servers are always so attentive and personable!
Great service. Good food.
Excellent experience. Didn’t expect such high quality service and food
We were seated promptly, had warm servers, the food was delicious. Great experience!
We were four. One of our table ordered from appetizer menu and received her meal about 10 minutes after we did and she only ordered poutine. We were charged for soda refill that we were not told cost extra. Our fries were all cold as well.
Overall, we were disappointed with our meal.
We were a group of very tired ladies after a shopping trip.Food was great especially the Bangers and Mash and our service was great. Our server was a girl from Welland and she was brilliant.
Showed up ahead of our reservation and were taken right to our table. Food was good, no complaints there. Service was attentive and quick.
Wonderful service and great food. ! Will certainly be back again and will recommend to friends and family!!
Third time trip to Come From Away, theatre, bus, and Firkin on Yonge booked online. Easy peasy. The reconfirmation/reminder the day before lunch was a professional touch. Food was plentiful and tasty. Service speedy. The swinging sixties London décor brought back happy memories of living there then. Elevator to the washrooms much appreciated by my octogenarian guests! Ok ... so far ... deservedly high praise. But ... the absolute star of the restaurant and the comeback factor on each occasion is RayRay who is absolutely stellar at customer facing friendliness and attentiveness. She's totally focused ... a coffee top up. a plate cleared, a fellow staffer helped, a word of helpful theatre advice. She cares like she owns the place, but in a humble and respectful way. That is so rare and admirable. Also a pleasure to meet the boss's daughter on this visit.
Birthday Celebration after the theatre
Some of our order was very good. Breakfast tacos fine. Eggs benedict and peameal on a bun not so good. Advertised as brioche bun but got Hamburg bun. Eggs too hard in eggs Benedict. Coffee was good.
Three generations had come together for dinner and a live show to follow. We ranged in age from 25 to 84. We were told about the availability of an elevator after we were taken to an upstairs table, some 20 or so steps later. Our server seemed rushed and when being asked about some of the menu items by the 84year old, was less than attentive or helpful. She seemed to get annoyed when we did not move at her pace, order when she was ready to take the order or pay when she was ready.
The food was okay, nothing I would rave about and the atmosphere was a little too loud for us, but I understand that a perhaps younger and noisier crowd is the regular customer base. I wouldn’t go back, nor would I recommend this to anyone
The location was perfect as we were in Toronto to see a show. The Pub Salad was very good. My husband had the Steak and fries and he was still hungry after.
The best part of our experience was our server Rayanne! She’s amazing and provided suggestions that worked for us. She’s a gem.
We’ll definitely return.
