7th time this summer and we did not get the rail by the water once! Dirty menus, waitress disappeared on us and escorted another couple (who arrived 10 mins after us) to the rail, took, then delivered their drink orders before she had even asked for ours. As this seems to be the new norm there, we left. Unfortunate really, we've championed the restaurant since its beginning and gave it a good few thousands of dollars of business. Won't be back.

Steak dinner was $43, smallest portion of potato salad, steak was thin and cut into strips and was ice cold. It came with 2 weird sauces that didn’t go together at all. It was the type of meal you’d expect to get in a pub for $19. Sevice was mediocre. Water bottle had warm water in it and we asked for ice multiple times and never received any. Also asked for lime in the water and didn’t get that either. Server hovered so closely over us as we put in our bank card pin and chose a tip amount. Very unprofessional. Beautiful view though!

Weather was a huge factor. Patio setting in 16° weather with clouds. It was freezing. Not much selection in menu. Prices were high. 3 pieces of octopus for $25? However, service was exceptional.

Excellent costumer service the food was delicious the ambiance was breathtaking and the value for the food and drinks we got was reasonable. For reference we ordered the sour dough toast under snacks the steak and salmon plus two alcoholic drinks. The waitress checked on us frequently. I believe her name was Kelly she was so friendly and pleasant always greeted us with a smile.

Who would ask you to spoon the bee out of your cocktail and continue to drink it??!! ‘It’s outdoor’ said the server. ‘Spoon it out and put it on the floor’ then another server just killed the bee in front of my kids (they were taught bees are good and be kind to them). What kind of service is that?!! I’m very disappointed. I have never been to a restaurant who doesn’t replace a simple drink. The food is not too bad but not what I expected from the reviews. It’s either to salty or too bland. Also, the burger was too dry. Also, there are no food suitable for the kids. Kids want pasta so I order the shrimp linguine but it’s spicy (or just my kids can’t take spicy). Did not enjoy this place one bit.

It was a very enjoyable evening, both in ambience and service. Portion can be more for the prices and that’s why I rate as not very good value. Foods in general were good. I had the Earth Bowl which was good but flavour could be a bit more vibrant - the sauce was a bit on the bland side.

Enjoyed my evening. Enjoyed the food. Pizza had a solid 2” (large amount) of doe around the circumference with no toppings-mushroom pizza. So it was minimal for the price. ALL alcohol should be on a tray! Waitress juggling 3 glasses of wine at one point. Bad form.

My wife and I have eaten late lunches early dinners before. Tonight’s main course that I had ( strip loin steak and a few vegetables) was not by any means worth the $43. The steak was super thin and small and the vegetables were very very few.

Amazing views of the lake and delicious food. The waitress service was friendly and accommodating. Food arrival time was just right .. one course after another so we had time to digest and just chill looking at the lake. Need to reserve online and recommend checking weather 1-2 days before going because it may rain and your table could get wet. If it’s a sunny day, it’s amazing views and experience. Highly recommend to couples and family (have highchair for children).
