Lively atmosphere, surprisingly, on a Tuesday night. Pleasantly understated modern decor. Server Charlie was very friendly, efficient and helpful. My husband and I both chose one of the specials that evening; blackened cod. It was excellent. The occasion was my birthday and what should be on the menu but my favourite, crème brûlée! Would highly recommend Fishbone and will be back:)

We have been to this fishbone several times and have always enjoyed our meals. Word to ownership.....add 2 slices of bread to the shrimp appetizer to soak up those delicious juices.

Was at Fishbone Kitchen + Bar in Aurora for our wedding anniversary. We have ordered half a dozen of market oysters, Portuguese Octopus and a Portuguese Saffron Paella. The oyster was fresh and go well with the octopus. The portion of the paella was good for two, it was enough for two of us and it was TASTY. We also ordered two deserts to end the meal which I forgot the name. Both are alright but not exceptional. Had a great service from Dave and enjoy each courses of the meal. He is quite attending and definitely know how to serve. Wish the tables are not too close to each other, but other than that, the restaurant environment is great.

Went to fishbone for my wife's birthday. We ordered 2 apps ( grilled octopus and Caesar salad), a mohito and seafood paella. We finished our meal with a cream and custard trifle dessert. The service was very attentive and food was great! The amount was enough for both of us. Will reccomend to friends and family.

We and our guests (4) had dinner at the Aurora Fishbone Aug. 16/23. Overall, the food and service were good. However, the dessert (deconstructed donut) that came with the 3-course meal was totally unacceptable as the donut was stale and the whole thing was pitiful - too bad, because that put a damper to our dinner.

It was a nice experience at the fishbone. Food and beverage are full of special flavours and tastes that you don't get all the time. My friends who were there for the first time were impressed. Food portion was slightly on the smaller side but was filling. Definitely will be back.

A friend and I enjoyed a nice lunch. Living in Ballantrae/Uxbridge it's hard to find spots open on Monday or Tuesday for lunch. We both enjoyed appetizers - the mussels and clams were very clean in a delicious broth and the octopus was cooked perfectly. Our server was attentive without being smarmy so we had ample time to enjoy our food and catch up with each other. Would definitely recommend!

Enjoyed a delicious dinner with friends. Seafood pasta and sea bream were excellent as were the Brussel sprouts and grillled bread starters. Our server was very helpful and knowledgeable. The room tends to be quite noisy but our request for a quieter corner was cheerfully accommodated. Interior has been tastefully updated but outside patio sits on a strip plaza parking lot behind a divider so may not be first choice if outside dining is desired.

Had a wonderful birthday dinner here. The service was impeccable, we felt very well looked after and our server was kind, funny and very knowledgable about the menu and specials. The food was delicious - highly recommend the mussels & clams, and tagliatelle if you like seafood! The space itself is beautiful and they have a lovely outdoor patio that is part of the indoor/outdoor feel of the main room.

I frequent the Friday Harbor location, I came to the Aurora location for lunch a few months ago and have never left. Food quality is top tier and consistent every visit. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and very attentive. The menu is well thought out and should you decide to venture off to try the daily feature you will not be disappointed! Wednesday wine and Dine is a must and Clare's wine selections are elegant. Top class dinning experience!
