We made reservations for lunch but happen to be the only ones there :). So it made for a nice quiet lunch. They only had the summerlicious menu available at the time but we're nice to.bring out there regular menu since we asked. Thank you!

We were very impressed by the table de hote. Four delicious and interesting courses. This is offered in addition to the regular menu on Friday and Saturday evenings. We will return to sample from their regular menu soon.

We booked a lunch for 3 online and got there to find a very large and noisy group right beside us. The hardwood floors and open concept do not absorb noise so we literally had to shout to each other. The food was disappointing too. Small portions and high priced. And the wine at $13 for a 6 oz glass seemed very steep. The wait staff was pleasant. All in all this is will not be an experience I repeat.

Amazing though a little pricey for the area. Very talented chef with flavourful dishes - I had the special lamb - amazing! Amuse Bouche was pork rinds which were tough and chewy. Nice ambiance with friendly personable owners. Still very new with limited menu offerings.

We started off with the onion ale soup which was delicious. It was unique to me and I loved the taste and texture. I had the steak for dinner and my wife had the pork chop - again both delicious. The service was great and the food memorable. We will be back and have already recommended it to a some couples .

Absolutely wonderful food! Casual atmosphere was perfect for a terrific meal after a long day at work. And the waiter (Mateo) rounded out the experience with some of the best service we have ever had!!

I happened upon Fistro while in town at an event my company was hosting for female entrepreneurs. I wanted to find a funky local restaurant for those of us staying from out of town and their menu appealed to me while searching Open Table for a reservation for 8 people. I knew it would be a good experience when I called less than an hour before the reservation to add a person to the reservation because I miscounted. The gentleman who answered the phone was courteous and cheerful and assured me they'd add a seat, no problem. We arrived in small numbers which delayed our ordering while we waited for everyone but the restaurant never made us feel rushed or pressured. Cocktails and wine for the table were served while we waited and we learned more about their menu. The food is excellent! Every effort is made to serve local food and sustainable sources. The menu is small and made fresh to order so they were able to accommodate my Celiac disease and other dietary restrictions with little effort. Because the menu is small, our server was able to describe the dishes in such mouthwatering detail, I couldn't decide what to have. Everyone at the table enjoyed the food and the presentation of their meals. Prices are very reasonable for the calibre of the food presented. The cocktail list is creative and the wine selection is thoughtfully curated. The space is bright, fresh and clean. After we had finished our mains the chef came out to thank us for visiting. The visit was a very nice touch at the end of our meal and we learned they had only been open for 14 weeks. The evening was so seamless, we couldn't believe they had only been open such a short time. The offer brunch and one of the ladies and I have already stared to make plans to come back from Toronto one weekend for brunch.

Pleasantly surprised! Food was fantastic! Loved the variety on the menu. Service was outstanding, waiter was bang on with every suggestion he made. We will certainly be back and we will be spreading the word about this hidden gem!
