We ordered the blackened Atlantic salmon and were really surprised with how big the salmon was. We thought we were going to be paying for an overpriced meal but it was worth every dollar. The patio was quiet and sunny. Perfect ambience for my girlfriends birthday.

Our server was beyond nice. Our food was delicious however my steak was cold when I got it and my mother had tomatoes in her salad which she can’t eat. We told our server and she apologized a lot, which we told her it wasn’t her fault - we saw her input it in and repeat the orders back to us. Honestly, when our food did eventually come out, we didn’t care enough to send it back as we were starving and had already waited a while to get our food.

The music was like a loud dance club not a dinner venue, the food quality has really dropped since I was there a year ago. Service was friendly and excellent,lots of TV’s for sports which is great.

1st impression is the restaurant looks great. Food was very good. Came out in a timely manner. Nice when you order drinks it doesn’t take a long time. Waitress had the drinks to us in a couple minutes. Owner checked in with us and was extremely nice and welcoming. Will definitely return with friends.

It’s quite overpriced for what you get. A $25 salad with a small piece of salmon that had very little flavour - very disappointing. The steak salad was better and had a good amount of meat. Even the kids chicken fingers were over breaded and overdone. The gin lavender cocktail was delicious. For the price, we won’t return.

Our first time at the Flame & Barrel and it was a very nice experience. Our waitress was very efficient and the service was very good. The appetizer was very good and the main course was excellent. The ambiance was also very good, except the room might be a bit noisy. The live entertainment was excellent, and we enjoyed listening to music while we dined. Overall a very nice experience, and we will return.

LUNCH WITH THE LADIES. We love trying new restaurants so we decided to try this place. Service was exceptional partly because there was only four tables with customers. My girlfriend and I ordered the chicken lettuce wraps and we were very disappointed. Not much flavour at all - in fact had to ask the serve for sriracha to had some punch. They were also served with romaine lettuce which doesn’t roll properly. I would take a pass on this. My other girlfriend ordered the house salad and was very satisfied with the size and the flavours.

My hubby had the surf and turf, the steak was cooked perfectly and with the shrimp, veg and rosemary potatoes it was more than he could eat. My son said the pizza was excellent. We had the fried pickles and cauliflower and it was fantastic as well. I had the French onion soup which was a little strong tasting for my taste. Overall a great meal!

The appetizers were amazing. Unfortunately an emergency came up with the employees, so when our food got to us an hour later it had been on the heat too long and was dry. It was an unfortunate circumstance and I don’t blame anyone. The service was fantastic. The restaurant under different circumstances has great potential. This won’t be the next place my family eats again but I would still recommend it to others to try.
