   We were shocked to receive our bill. 2 entries, 1 desert no alcohol and it was >$150. The roast beef special was Luke warm and gf as the appearance of a TV dinner. The restaurant has declined since we were ok ast there. Our advice… take a pass

   Incredible food and ambience. But took an hour to get our food. Apparently the kitchen was running behind. Overall service was good but slow. Made it better when the waiter offered complimentary bread and birthday dessert. Pricey so only for special occasions. Confit duck wings and truffle Mac and cheese were amazing.

   We were by the door and it was cold everytime people left. We had to ask for menus, drinks too really long. Appetizer took an hour and mains were even more late. Waitress was running off her feet. Manager brought part of the Appetizer and didn't even say hello, how are things, sorry for the delay..absolutely nothing. Only thing that was offered was because I complained and a free dessert, which was bought from Costco, was given to us. We were long standing clients from the days of Bears Den and it was not perfect but things were done to keep customers happy and actually recommend it to many more clients.

   1 star for the interior and atmosphere, 1 star for enjoying my company and having a great conversation. The rest is a complete fail, wanted to have a special night… picked the place with high reviews and good pictures. Interior is very nice ill give you that, but you don’t want to drive for 30 minutes and spend 600$ on just an interior. Any restaurant should be focused on their food and then service! Lets start from the beginning… you prepare to go to the high end restaurant, so you dress up and choose a best coat to wear. You arrive at the restaurant and lead straight to the table… the you find yourselves hanging your nice Italian coat on a chair with your back end and sleeves touching a dirty floor… not a great start . Fancy restaurant and no coat check??? Ok… not a big deal, kinda used to that already by being in Canada …. Then you sit down and some guy without a word starts giving out menus and gives only 3 out of 4 menus, and just leaves with the 4th menu in his hand…. Weird, but whatever ill share a menu with my wife, no worries… long wait times for the Server to come back and bring us drinks, and take orders and sometimes forgetting the food items and their details, which is all understandable and forgivable, the place was packed, staff is busy! So take your time , im having a great chat with friends, because it will all come down to the food, because it is all should be worth it… but it wasn’t…. I can make a better steak at home for 20$!. Food was served cold and dry:((( servers were very timid didnt make an experience pleasant, conversations were abrupt and didnt have any charm , werent confident moving items around the table and i had to help them clean up the plates to make space for other items. Good servers are not seen and not heard everything just flows around the table… Would not recommend… maybe the cooks and servers got complacent and everything used to be better when it just opened…

    We tried Flores & Pine a couple of years ago when they first opened and we’re not impressed with the food considering it was fine dining. We received a gift card for Christmas and decided to give it another try. The venue is beautiful and our server was really good. She was knowledgeable and looked after us well. She did not hover but was attentive when we needed something. We shared appetizers of battered shrimp and a hummus plate. The shrimp were crispy and had an accompanying sauce, the hummus was good with side veggies, crostini and focaccia bread. My husband had the rack of lamb, and it was a full rack of six ribs. He also ordered the brown butter potatoes. I had the gnocchi with grilled scallops added. Both of our meals were cooked to order and delicious. Flores & Pine was certainly worth a second visit.

    The service is underwhelming. 2 guests in my party went to look for coat check, found the closet, and was told by the host not to take the tags off the coat hangers and be careful, rather than actually helping. The food selection is fine, all the "hot" food was cold including the prime rib and yorkshire puddings. Most of my table had the kitchen staff re-fry or microwave their food for a better temperature. Desserts were the same, all mediocre, including a creme brulee that didn't have a crispy top.

    Attended brunch with several friends, great selection of food. I especially like the tidbits that are brought around to the tables before you actually access the buffet. This practice sets Flores and Pine ahead of any other brunch I have attended. It allows you to socialize before you head out to the hunt for food on the buffet tables. Our server was great attentive, helpful and available but not intrusive. She helped to make it a very meal.

    Experience from beginning to end exceeded my expectations. Came for a birthday and received a personalized card. Hostess 'romanced' the brunch option so we'll that we couldn't say no. The food selection was great and table offerings that we brought to us were so tasty. The French toast is amazing! Price is in the premium, but you get what you pay for. Bring your appetite and you won't be disappointed.

    We went here for date night on a Thursday evening. We reserved the Atrium and it was beautiful. The food was great. The dessert and truffle Mac & cheese were heavenly. Service was amazing! The manager came out to make sure everything was good and to have a quick chat. It was very personable. We really enjoyed our time. The staff really elevated the experience for us.

    Chef Rupert did a perfect job ensuring our flawless experience. We celebrated our one year anniversary with a five course meal. The experience was book ended with champagne and dessert wine with cocktails served in between. After our amuse bouche we had confit drumstick wings and butternut squash (highly recommend at this time of year). Our 10 ounce tenderloin was enjoyed medium rare with appropriate veggies and adequate seasoning. The poutine was balanced with the crispy fries and a small amount of hearty gravy in a personal sized cast iron skillet. Finally our dessert was gelato. The lemon was good and the vanilla was anything but basic. Fortunately our wait time for the table, and our courses, was short due to Chris’ great service, and a manageable crowd in the main dining room. The atmosphere was professional and clean. My only contention with this rating is that I cannot give it six stars.

    The staff is always so awesome. We felt we received just the appropriate amount of attention while we were allowed the space to converse and catch up. The dining area is very pretty with nice lighting. I am adverse to dark dining rooms of many higher end restaurants and feel that Flores & Pine offers great lighting and a high end experience. This was not my first time there and I will definitely go back again!

    First time here since they changed from the old Bears Den. Lovely decor, great waiter - Mark. I had their beef tenderloin which was cooked to perfection. I have not not had a great steak for a long time so was much appreciated. My partner had gnocchi with prawns. He says gnocchi was average but loved the prawns. We were a last minute booking Janon a Saturday night so we’re thankful that we got in the dining room at an earlier time. Restaurant was quite full when we left. We dressed up somewhat as we weren’t sure what to wear but it seems people were pretty casual. We will certainly be back. Had a great night. Thx so much!

    Poor experience overall. Waiter Pablo was extremely rude and the price is horrendously expensive. Come on $65 for rack of lamb?? Nothing special to brag about. The quality has overall gone down and I am not sure if I will be returning back. Sorry I have to be honest

    Had the wedge salad with scallops, both delicious and very generous servings. My friend had the steak sandwich special. Said she loved the cowboy sauce that came with it and the steak was great. Service fun and attentive but not overly. Second time here and would come again. Nice atmosphere for a long lunch to catch up on.

    Flores and Pine is the perfect option when you are looking for a special place with an option for everyone. From celiac to vegan to super meat eaters, everyone will be happy. The service is outstanding at every visit and the food is truly delicious. Prices seem a bit high BUT not once you taste the food. A meal this good in a lovely room with friendly and attentive and natural service? Worth it!

    The ambiance was great. Chantal served us before, she is very pleasant and effective. I had the linguini with garlic shrimp, succulent! I recommend this place for special occasions or just for a nice treat out.

    What a great New Years Eve meal and after party! Our party of 4 loved the food and service followed by the New Years Eve party that followed. We all had a great time and while we will be back for more lunches and dinners, we will almost certainly be back for NYE 2023!!

    I made the reservation 1 month in advance to make sure we will be seated in The Atrium. But they didn’t respect our request, by contrary, some person calling me a day before to ask me if I knew the menu is $120 per person! If I still want to come!! Such a shame an insult! When I specifically asked if we are going to be seated in The Atrium, she said that is no room there for us!! Coming from Texas to meet our kids and have a wonderful New Year turn to be a disaster due to the way we were treated by the restaurant management!!
