From the very start of our visit, we felt very welcomed by the staff, since it’s a smaller place, the servers and other staff really try to make a great connection with you, and it just makes your experience 100x better. Our server Keiran (99% sure that’s correct) was one of the best servers we’ve ever had!

I went here 2 days in a row! Truly a hidden gem, Florette exceeded all my expectations from ambience, service but most of all the simple yet elegant menu! I was visiting a friend from NYC and this took me back to the streets of Tribeca and the East Village. Yes!, if you’re looking for a cozy romantic dinner or catching up with old friends, the team is happy to host you in this tube of floral bounty. Akira, Harley and Xie, felt like my friends who were serving me at their house, service is blended with lovely conversation and always take their recommendations as they definitely know what’s up. On my first night, I was at the bar with Alex as my bartender and man does this guy put on a show, just him mixing drinks and serving them is a performance in itself! Day 1: I ordered the bone marrow (phenomenal stuff: how can one dish be a meal and bar food at the same time??? ) and enjoyed a few cocktails, the ones that stood out the most were the Tepache Colada and the Cucumber roll. Alex gave me a tester of his Jerk seasoned cocktail and said it would go live the next day. Day 2: I came for dinner this time, jerk cocktail was live woohoo! Me and a friend shared the heirloom tomatoes and she got the sea bass and me the Striploin (those mushrooms ❤️). Each one better than the last, a 10/10! Take a bow Jerry Zhang, Chef Mann, Jason Mcneely and team! I salute you for this fine dining experience. Thank you.

Space: It’s a cozy place with cute atmosphere but the indoor dining tables are very small. My advice would be to book the booth with friends if given the option - looked more spacious and cozy. Food: I would recommend the rigatoni and the tomato’s labneh salad and the dessert was yummy. I would recommend the Fish over steak. Overall the food is tasty but some of it felt overpriced - the steak was dry and the mushrooms were not exciting. Worth going to once, but wont be running back any time soon for the high $200+ bill.

Lovely room! Food was great and ideal for sharing...if in a group, get the chefs special where you get multiple dishes. Value??? Not so much...a charge for bread to mop up all those delicious sauces? Come on! Cocktails were unique but very pricey for the size.

Amazing dinner at Florette! We were running late but they were so kind and understanding, letting us know when the next reservation was and how much time we had. But we didn’t feel rushed at all. We started with bread and butter, scallop crudo (so fresh and bright) and the Manila clams (the nduja butter in the sauce was to die for). My boyfriend had the rigatoni which was cooked perfectly and the sauce was so rich. I had the sea bass and the skin was so crispy, the fish was juicy and the lemon aioli with the pease was also to die for. Our server was so lovely and she took great care of us! We will be back!

Wonderful experience dining at Florette. The dishes were innovative and full of flavour! Tables are a bit small for plates, wine, and the hefty cutlery - requires a bit of Jenga skills. Super service but would have appreciated plate replacement between all courses. Look forward to trying the next seasonal menu.

A lovely experience. Our party went for the chef's choice menu and overall we were well taken care of. My favourite dish was the sea bass as the sear was beautifully done and the fish cooked just perfectly. With a bed of fresh peas to provide that light and crisp contrast to the fish, along with a sharp, acidic lemon aioli. That was the perfect bite of the night for me. Cocktails were delicious!

fantastic date spot or for a nice dinner, love this place ! As the great Anthony Bourdain once said `If the vegetables are good the whole restaruaunt is good`, this is definitely the case with Florette. They never miss! every dish is outstanding.

Very loud, very tight quarters, had to shout to be heard—not a place for an intimate conversation. Food, while good (especially the Sea Bass!) was overshadowed by lack of serving utensils (delivered family style), clean plates between courses, and the table being so small it was difficult to balance/keep the plates and glasses on the table while keeping your elbows tucked in as the servers and guests bumped the table upon passing. We had the $64 chef’s meal, but in hindsight, would have preferred a la carte, as the signature dishes were not part of the chef’s menu. Overall a very vibrant and attractive restaurant (look up at the glowing ceiling) with good food and young vibe. Not for grumpy old guys like me.

I was excited to try this restaurant and booked the back patio. When you walk through the restaurant to the patio you can totally feel the vibe and it’s great. However when you get outside it’s a buzzkill. It definitely feels like an afterthought space. Simple things like adding a speaker to create ambiance is easy. I was a bit disappointed.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this new restaurant located on Queen West, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The cozy location, coupled with the friendly servers, created a truly enjoyable dining experience. Admittedly, I was initially unaware that the menu was based on the concept of sharing plates. However, I quickly realized that it was a brilliant idea. My dining companions and I decided to embrace this concept and ordered a variety of dishes to share. And boy, did it work! We started off with the asparagus and mushroom starters, which were cooked to perfection. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, leaving us wanting more. Next came the bone marrow, clams, and sea bass main course, and once again, we were blown away. The bone marrow was melt-in-your-mouth tender, while the clams and sea bass were fresh and perfectly cooked. And let's not forget about the torte we had for dessert. It was the perfect end to an already fantastic meal. Though the menu may not be extensive, I believe that to be a good thing. It allows the restaurant to focus on perfecting each and every dish they offer. In fact, I was so impressed with the quality and taste of the food that I believe you could order anything on the menu and not be disappointed. In addition to the exceptional food, the service provided by the staff was top-notch. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and seemed genuinely passionate about the restaurant and its offerings. It was refreshing to see a team of servers who appeared to genuinely enjoy working there, as it added to the positive vibe of the place. Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Our experience started off strong with cocktails and appetizers, however when it came towards our main course, the wait was longer than usual with no acknowledgement of this wait until we inquired, to which we felt like we were being unreasonable (seated at 7:15 pm and main course still not out until past9:25), rather than simply recognizing this, we were advised that a table of a larger group had been served prior to us and that the kitchen was small and could not accommodate timing. A simple acknowledgement would have gone a long way instead of making us feel like we were in the wrong. We wanted to love our experience, however the experience underwhelmed us.

Loved coming back to Florette after a few months! I got the mushrooms, croquettes, crudo, clams, salad, cabbage, trout, pasta, steak and chocolate tart to share with my friends (yes we came hungry). Everything was delicious and timed so well. Really liked the drinks too, we got the ramp martini, cafe amalfi and the mule mocktail + vodka. So nice to have the excitement of trying something new with the comfort of something familiar. Will definitely be back for more!

It was our first time and dinner was amazing! From the moment we stepped in to the end of our meal we were well taken care of. Love the chicken croquettes, mushrooms and the trout is a must-try. The fish was perfectly cooked and the skin delectable. Thank you! We loved our table too.

For my fellow asthmatic friends, order the “Not From The Sea”. That’s the most crisp drink I ever had, as if I just took a puff from a fresh out of the pharmacy blue inhaler. Honestly at a loss for words- Florette was intentional from the eats to the interior design. Rich eats in a beautiful space that’s overflowing with creativity and friendly staff. Quality comparable to 2 of my fav places, Bar Raval and Reina. First time in Florette and it didn't disappoint. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by Gerry who showed us to our table. We asked if we could sit outside instead and we accommodated no problem. From there Matt took amazing care of us. Very friendly, good to chat to, and didn't skip a beat with the service. He recommended a lovely glass of wine for my gf and it was. Cocktails were tasty and overall an all round great experience. All of the staff we interacted with were friendly and when we were leaving all waved and said goodbye. We ordered the steak, rigatoni, chicken croquettes and the mojo salad, not one shoddy element in the dishes. Looking forward to going back for more.
