Have been here before. Always a good experience. A little steep, but still a good value. Friendly and attentive staff.
I didn’t like how salty the food was, but besides the salty meat, I loved everything else
We had a reservation for 7:45 and was seated 45 mins later. They sat us at a small table right behind the noisy lobby. I prefer not to have an expensive meal with hungry onlookers staring at me. We both pleaded with the hostess to move us to a more secluded table. She told us it would be close to an hr wait. We had a movie to catch so we just sat there. The waitress informed us it was restaurant week and they had a limited menu if we partook. We decided to pay for the full menu. That was the last time we saw the waitress. Due to the horrible location of our table, there was a station where extra plates and a water pitcher was held. My wife had to hell herself to a plate for food and also pour her own refills of water. A staff member saw my wife pouring water and laughed. I didn’t find it the least bit amusing. At least the movie part of our date went well. 🙁
First time to the restaurant. The food was fantastic. We'll be back.
I understand that it was a restaurant week, but regardless the servers should know how to operate and manage the tables. It took forever to get on hold of our server. We requested premium service, but we ended up not receiving such quality service and of course they charged us for premium. The plates were dropped and broken right next to us. They didnt seem to know how to manage their own pace. Didnt worth the money.
Not as good as it use to be especially the service
Extremely loud and very very crowded with almost no room between tables. Meat always was medium to well done and tough. I had to ask multiple times for drink refills, fresh plates, etc. would not go back.
Amazing Brazilian dining experience - a foodie's delight - out of this world salad bar - great wine selection - impeccable service!
Very cost-effective dinner. Plenty of meat with good fruit and salad buffet.
I went during restaurant week. Although I had the full menu at a discounted price, the quality was not compromised.
Everything was amazing! The food, the service, the place!! It was my first time at Fogo and it did not disappoint. The only two things I didn’t like was that it was way too noisy for me. Specially since we were celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary, I thought it would be less louder than what I experienced. Second thing, even if I specified that it was our anniversary, our hostess tried to sit us in the loudest part of the restaurant and gave us a tiny table. I asked her if she could move us, and she kinda had an attitude about it.
Besides that, our waitresses and the service was absolutely amazing!! The food was great and Im pretty sure we will come back again in the near future
My boyfriend and I visited here during the restaurant week deal which included the full experience minus 4 types of meat, plus dessert! Everything was delicious. The beef, lamb, and sirloins were my preference. The chicken was pretty dry. The alcoholic options and wines were plentiful. We had the cheesecake for dessert which was terrific!
Horrible salad bar. Cold tasteless potatoes. No hot sides, veggies NOTHING! Cold little-tiny dinner rolls. Extremely noisey and disruptive atmosphere. Chicken taste odd. Not a good experience. Would NEVER recommend or revisit.
Overcrowded, very loud, not organized. Food was good but wouldn’t go back based on environment
It was good but some options were left out for restaurant week
I've been to this Fogo location twice before, and both times have been great, but last Sunday they dropped the ball a few different ways.
First, I made a reservation and showed up about 5 minutes before the scheduled time. My husband and I waited until almost 15 minutes after our scheduled time to be seated.
Second, once we were seated, we felt like we were an incredibly low priority because we both only ordered the market table. The fried polenta and rolls are my favorite part of the meal, so I typically load a plate full of salad and veggies, then pig out on the sides. It's still almost $30, so it's not like Fogo isn't making money. My husband and I asked twice for another round of side dishes and after about 25 minutes, someone finally brought another basket of rolls... but nothing else.
Third, I was lucky I ordered a lemonade shortly after we sat down, because no one was refilling waters. I'm happy I had two drinks, because they were both gone before anyone came around with a water pitcher.
Fourth, we asked for our check twice and no one brought it. Eventually a manager noticed that we had been sitting at an empty table for a while and asked if we needed something. He came back with a check a few minutes later.
Everything was EXCELLENT, we will absolutely be back
Waiters are initially attentive but fades away through time. The people that serves the meat doesnt really check if everyone in my big geoup wanted anything.
Best service around, amazing experience, not recommended for an intimate setting, but excellent for an intimate experience! mind blowing for people who are going for the first time.
La mejor comida que e probado no se arrepentirán iré una y muchas veces más es un manjar.
First time here and I was a little weary of going during restaurant week - however, we had a great experience. It was a little noisy but the atmosphere overall was good. We did not have to wait long for any food to come and various team members came by often to check up - everyone was very friendly and polite. Really nice selection at the salad bar, and the meats and sides were very good. We will be back!
Not happy with the service. This was a dinner for my parents' anniversary. Although it was mentioned on the reservation, no acknowledgement was made.
My first time and my last
Sorry, but I felt like I was at a not so great "all you can eat buffet" at a touristy resort. The meat was not amazing and and neither was anything else. It took a long time to get anyone's attention when we needed something. Near the end of our meal came a hot basket of cheese puff type rolls that would have been nice in the beginning of the meal but not right before the dessert. (that's one example of not so good service)
Maybe if you were feeding a very hungry teenager this place would be your place, but it is very expensive!
This was not our first time at this Fogo location, but it was certainly our least enjoyable, primarily due to the service.
- I had asked for lemon for our waters when our first server (1 of about 4, not counting the meat guys) took our drink orders. It took 3 subsequent requests from 2 other servers and the manager to finally get some.
- The salt shaker was apparently clogged, as my friend requested a replacement. But even after that, there was still a problem; I think he just gave up.
- In deciding on the wine, we had considered a bottle on the wine list. One of our friends suggested a house wine, in hopes that it would be more reasonable and probably OK for dinner. When I inquired about the price of the house wine, the server said he was unsure; thinking the house is usually reasonably priced, we chose that. When we finally go the bill, however, we were surprised to find that the house wine was almost twice the price of the listed bottle we had originally considered.
- When inquiring from one of the servers about our bill, and to double-check the wine price to see if there was some mistake, he never returned. Instead, our charge-card bill was delivered to our table, with no change in total.
- As with the salt, we just gave up at that point and left. I don't think we will return, even during Baltimore Restaurant Week.
As alluded to by the servers, BRW is a very busy time. However, if a restaurant can't handle the load, they should discontinue participating in BRW to reduce the risk of losing regular customers like us due to poor service.
Your classic Brazilian steakhouse with wonderful staff and great food.
Restaurant week, so busier than normal. So the lack in service will give them a pass. But the food and wine, excellent!!
Seem like it’s get worse every year we go back.. this time our food selection was just down to 4 items.. my wife did get her well done meat that she ask for.. everyone who was carrying the food just had medium rare..
Some portions were medium rare, but overall delicious unique dining experience w/Stellar customer service!
Sadly we were ignored. Had to ask for water, sides, bread, etc. Only a few people came around with meat. Restaurant week but not even close to normal Fogo standards 😕
Horrible! Our 6:15 reservation meant nothing as we still waited 20 minutes at the door for a table! Martini arrived in a champagne glass. At 7:00 they were already out of glasses and garnishes for cocktails! The salt and pepper shakers on the table were empty. The waiter could care less! The side dishes never arrived and the salad bar was much more limited than we remembered. No asparagus no deli meats etc. we are so disappointed as this was our anniversary dinner celebration.
This place used to be a special event destination however this experience was more in line with a low end dining experience! Very very sad!
Went for restaurant week. The food is good! The gauchos literally run through the room with the meats and, if there is something in particular you want, just mention it and BAM! it's like the Oopma Loopa's appear out of nowhere with it! The Market Table is amazing! I could eat just that. Fresh fruits, veggies, meats and cheeses. Eating here gives you the opportunity to try something that you have never had before or are curious about without having to fully commit to it. As non-drinkers, we enjoyed a really good limeaide. Dessert was frozen, not really worth it. I have Celiacs and they were really good about letting me know about safe options. Bottom line - would I go again...yes!!
I ordered middle lamb chops 3 times and they were well done. I dont eat steak so I literally paid to eat one lamb chop.
This was a disappointing experience for me and my wife. We had made reservations on open table and arrived punctually on schedule. Despite the reservation we were given a pager and asked to wait for a table for 2. We sat at the bar for 30 minutes before the pager beeped. This despite having reservations! The service was slow and most of the meats were over salted. And afterwards - we realized that the restaurant didn't even credit us for our open table reservation ! This was the 2nd time that they did this for this location. Very disappointing as I always considered Fogo De Chao a quality establishment.
Fogo has been my favorite restaurant for many years now but going during restaurant week is too crowded which meant slow service and the salad bar looked awful. The watermelon literally looked like slices with the white rine showing on most!! I had to ask twice for a carryout bag for my dessert. They kept bringing the same types of meat to our table. It took too long for us to get our credit card back. Not going back for a while. Oh and the restaurant month is not as good a deal as the restaurant week.
My family and I had dinner here for my mom’s birthday. The food was great! It was a busy atmosphere due to it being Resturant week and most people taking advantage of the discounted price. Loved the cocktails. Overall it was a great experience.
I hope Restaurant Week had something to do with the not up to par quality of the prepared meats. Most cuts were way too tough and I always get Medium Rare. If it was not for the fellowship of my brothers being desirous if Fogo - I would not have gone. Highlight - our servers were Excellent.
We were there for restaurant week. The place was packed, over 700 reservations on a Wednesday!!! We were seated about 45 minutes after our reservation time.
The food is fantastic. The salad bar is extensive and could be a satisfying dinner if you were a vegetarian. The meats were fabulous! Wonderful crispy bits full of seasoning from the outside and tender and delicious when sliced from the interior.
Drinks are a little pricey but dinner is definitely worth it. If you can get there during restaurant week even better!!
Always a great time!! Staff are great!! Food is even better!!
We have been here many times over the years, our last time before this visit in January. I mentioned then how it has declined. We gave it one more chance, and will not be back. When we did not order alcohol, our servers attitude toward us completely changed. All 3 things I asked for during our hour dining experience, I did not get. We felt completely ignored by everyone. Sad. We used to love this place.
