    Everything was superb but one of our servers was very very rude. She didn’t crack a smile the whole time. We understand that she may have been overwhelmed because it was very busy night, but at the end when we asked for our check twice but clearly she couldn’t hear because it was so loud . So I made a gesture referring to our check and she didn’t understand. I asked for our check even louder and she became so angry and begrudgingly snapped “ oh sorry that I didn’t know what this means” as she gestured the same gesture I had made to her.

    Drinks took 15 min to get drinks. Sides had to be requested and were not brought to our table until over half way thru our meal. Plates were not cleared from the table.

    We were greeted at the door by a host who looked at the ground and never gave eye contact. That was weird and not a pleasant welcoming. We were seated in a nice spot; the table was clean. We were sitting so close to another table we could hear their entire conversation even though they were speaking at a respectable level. That was not pleasant. We sat at our table for at least 10 minutes before meat came to our table. We were only offered pork for another 20 minutes. I don’t eat pork so I sat there with sides on my plate for 30 minutes. I timed it because it was getting ridiculous. Servers who had beef and lamb were serving the table directly next to us and skipping us. We had to call for the servers to come and serve us almost the entire night. That was horrible and a waste of our experience. I asked for well-done on one of my stakes and the server told me he didn’t have any. Then he said he’ll get some. Another 20 minutes went by and still no meat. When he finally came he scrapped off three burnt pieces of steak onto my plate. What a shame. The servers walking around serving the meat were absolutely terrible and rude. I will not be going back. What an awful experience and complete waste of money on our anniversary. Worst choice by far.

    It started rough. We were getting seated then they realize the table was not ready so they brought us back to front desk again. Then got seated. 15 min Later, no one even said hi to us until I asked someone to attend our table. Then here we are, starting to eat, and I felt cold water pouring on me on my left shoulder all over my dress. Waitess didn't know the tray had cracked. Jessica came and save the boat. We had to keep asking them if they can bring meat to us. Bread were running 30 min behind. We are almost done that's when they brought bread. We didn't get all meat. This was bad for real after all this years eating there. This was the worse

    We had reservation and were seated right away. Our waiter greeted us immediately but failed to come back to get our drink orders. We ended up grabbing another waitress instead after 30 minutes. This is half way through our meal! The salad bar used to be more exciting with more selections. The meat selection was also limited to beef, pork and chicken. No lamb options came our way. We were there for dinner. The atmosphere and clientele are still the same. Will not be returning.

    Food was terrific as usual. The service was a mess. We seemingly had 3 servers and had to ask each one of them for the same item till we received it. Uneven service, all the tables around us that were empty, were dirty. Polish was really missing on the service.

    I went to Fogo de Chao after many years this week. Meat was recooked and the Papaya cream was awful. It is sad to see how this iconic Brazilian Steak house is not the same than before. I missed the juicy picanha and delicious and creamy papaya cream. BTW, service and salad bar were outstanding.

    Food and atmosphere are good. Service was exceptionally slow. Waiting to get meat or pineapple to our table was like pulling teeth. We were there over two hours and did not get everything we wanted. Most meats visited our table once or not at all. Very disappointing considering the cost. My husband ordered coffee. You had to stop someone to get a refill.

    We love fogo, but our experience this last sunday was not great. We were seated way back in a corner, we saw decreased amt of meat servers. We never did see some. Service was slow. It took 20 mins to get a refill drink, and over 20 mins to get our check! We were there for over 2 hrs! It seemed like we were all crammed in. Servers could barely fit between chairs to bring around the meat, which probably put them off getting to us, which wasn't our fault. We feel for the prices we pay, that we should get full advantage of everything, not because they stuck us in a back corner!!

    Service provided by Alex and Zach was exceptional. Food was amazing although the chicken seemed dry. Other than that it was a 9 out of 10 for my girlfriend and I.

    Aurora was very attentive and the manager stopped by a few times to see how we were doing. One issue was it was all chicken, chicken, chicken for most of the night. Only once did the better meats come to us. I get that they try to fill you up on the cheaper meats but when you’re charging $70 they shouldn’t be so obvious about it.

    I took my partner for his birthday and the food was amazing. Unfortunately the service was not. Our server rarely came to the table and our drinks were empty the majority of the 2 hours spent at the restaurant. Luckily there was a carafe of water at the table, which we finished and it remained empty as well. The small table we were sat at was covered in a dirty and greasy looking white (well not so white) table cloth. Although we enjoyed the food the service kind of ruined the birthday experience I had hoped for. Coming to Fogo de Chão you expect a fantastic experience. Unfortunately we received a mediocre experience. Will not be celebrating any special milestones here in the future.

    My wife and I have dined here many times, for many years. We also love to travel around the world and eat and experience new things! So what would make adventurous people, such as ourselves, continue to come back to the Minneapolis Fogo? Food, service and culture. Let’s just reiterate that the food is beyond what a meat eater loves, it’s a meat eaters heaven. Let’s talk about the service that Matt and the Fogo Minneapolis team put out, night after night. Consistency is terribly difficult to obtain in todays sit down restaurants, let alone being consistently good. Yet, Matt and his Minneapolis team have never missed a beat. The way his staff and him talk to every table that sits down, and watching the tables eyes widen with excitement leads me to the culture of the place, which is what we really love. The culture is what I would call a mix of excitement, punctuality and passion. You can feel it when you walk into the place. The staff has fun with the tables, the Gauchos are always spot on bringing you exactly what you asked for, and it’s not fake, like, you can legitimately have fun with the staff when you are there! I’m writing a novel, but let me state this to be perfectly clear: IF you have a celebration coming up, an anniversary, birthday, you’re taking the office out for dinner, or just want to have an experience, right here in the Twin Cities, GO. TO. FOGO. Let them know what the event is, or why you’re there, and they will always take care of you. 10+ years of being a customer, and 10+ years traveling the world, but I wilL ALWAYS come back to my Minneapolis Fogo.

    We were seated very far from the salad bar which was an uncomfortable walk to our table if we decided to actually get food. Second we had to ask for everything including plates to eat. Lastly for paying so much money I would expect to get good cuts of meat but of course we were so far in the back corner all that would make it our table felt like scraps picked over no one wanted. It was my birthday dinner and I have never been so disappointed in all the times that I have come here this was the worst.

    This was one of their events not a regular dining experience. I have attended several of their events in the past and this one was certainly the best one I've attended so far. It was a smaller gathering than most of the previous ones and as a result the staff and management took advantage to be more personable with everyone. The food was outstanding and the cocktails were meticulously made to perfection. Couldn't ask for better.

    The wait staff was unresponsive, management was unapologetic and resources were limited. This has been a favorite special occasion restaurant for us for many years however this was a very expensive disappointment. A $917.00 expensive mistake.

    Absolutely one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in this country. I will recommend with 11 out of 10 stars. And I’m a picky eater and stickler for quality service.

    Service was perfect - the servers were there exactly when you wanted them, and every request for a specific cut of meat was quickly honored. Flavors were excellent, as was the selection of meats to choose from. The Market Table had a wide variety of items to choose from. Some of the items on the market table were "different". Had never really thought of pairing a watermelon slice with jalapeno slice, wonderful flavor.
