   Arrival: We were seated immediately for our reservation time. The restaurant is a large room from the bar and restroom area. The venue tried placing as many tables into the allowable space as possible, but with high ceilings, it gives a feel for a sizable room. Unfortunately, the sound carries, and the noise level is relatively high. A child was crying, and people tried to ignore and speak over the noise. Service: Our waiter approached immediately once seated and was very friendly and offered the "experience" as the best option. The "experience" is not all-inclusive, and one must be careful about what you take once provided. For example, the shrimp cocktail is extra, $26 for six shrimp, and the little drinks in small glasses are $14 a piece. I found this out at the end of our bill. The other adult drinks range from $9 to $18 or more. We saw our waiter three times and which were very brief. The meat servers were immediate once we had our cards turned green. They were very attentive and timely. Servers were moving around, providing items like shrimp cocktails, and some specialty drinks were also very convenient. We had six adults at our table, and everyone ordered drinks at the beginning and received our drinks more than halfway through our dinner. We ordered another round of drinks before the end of dinner, which arrived after we finished with dessert. Meat: The meat servers were very attentive! They did a great job! We only had beef, pork, and lamb at our table%E2%80%94also, the shrimp cocktail. Most of the beef cuts were medium or well done. My ribeye was medium, and all other beef cuts served were well done. Cost: Over $700 for six people. Overall: The experience could have been much better for how much everything cost. I was looking forward to a pleasant experience with my family and friends. For what the entire meal cost versus the experience, I cannot say that I would be eager to do it again anytime in the future.

   Food very good. Service not so good. Server didn't come around to ask if we need anything more on table or a dink re-order; had to ask others for assistance! Had to ask for steak servers to come around. Deserts very over-priced!

   Waste of money and time. Food was ok, at least the one we managed to get as the service was one of the worst ever in my life. We had to repeat our drink order, ask 5 times about getting meat, and wait each time for 10 minutes for the meat servers between portions. It was my birthday so I wanted to take my family out somewhere new and special - it was special all right, but not in a good way. Still can't get over how bad the service was. Shame, the place really has potential, but need to provide much better service for the money they are charging. Oh, and be careful with how they offer small cocktails if you want to try, but then charge you $15 each. Next birthday I have to choose better 🎂

   The service was awful! We waited for long periods of time between meats. Most meats were good but some was dry. It was hard to get anything medium rare or rare. The servers were not attentive & had an attitude with us. We ordered dessert, martini & 2 ports. The waiter brought the dessert but forgot the drinks. We never got the martini. For a $400 bill, I expect impeccable service & food. We will never go back!!

   Meat was difficult to get as medium rare, mostly medium well to well done. pork was good, steak was tough. Told a manager we were wanting some filet so he went to the kitchen and sent some out to our table only. This was our first visit to Fogo de Chao in Arizona, previously we went to the Fogo de Chao in Houston, TX and in The Woodlands TX. Both were very good. It is unlikely that we will return to the Scottsdale Fogo de Chao.

   Had to return my $18 cocktail that was supposed to be an old fashioned but it was anything but. Server never checked on us the entire time so we ended up having to flag down the customer service rep to help. Ultimately the drink was refunded and customer service person was nice, but food was ok and just pretty bad service over all.

    One of worst dining experiences ever. Waitress not attentive, always looking elsewhere. Terrible service. Not enough servers esp those serving the meat. Requested mgr and he did have a server come over with filet. But that was it! At over $90 pp considered a rip off. Will not return.

    I felt like I was being treated like a queen. Within five minutes of my sitting down four people had asked me if I needed anything if my drink order had been done, everything .the food was fantastic. Salad bar was very exotic.  not for those who are stuck in the usual, American diet. But if you like steak or any kind of meat, this is the place. Might seem a bit pricey, but all you can eat steak, pork or chicken, that’s my kind of meal.  Waitstaff incredibly friendly. One tall server with glasses didn’t get his name very good .not for the group that wants to sit quietly and talk. Very frenetic and noisy but not In a way that was annoying. My first trip but definitely coming back

    Have always loved this place. I do feel like the value for money has gone down. The meat seems a bit lower quality than it used to be. The variety is defintely lower with is having to ask for anything other than two or three kinds of meat. For as busy as it was, service was good.

    Servers are rude. I was overcharged twice on the same bill. I spent half of my meal wondering where the food I ordered was and was overcharged at the end. I did enjoy my 4.50$ coke though. It was amazing!

    I truly don’t understand the appeal of this place. No one explains how anything works. The service is terrible. All the meat is basically dry and tough.  it's crammed in, hot, extremely noisy. You can’t understand what any of the staff is saying. I wouldn’t go back to this place if it was free.

    This was such a chaotic dining experience. Waited over 20 mins after our reservation to be seated, the floor around the table was dirty and gross, service was bad, buffet food was not desirable. The meat was good but you pretty much had to do experience dining because they were sold out of their regular menu so ended up being expensive... which is fine but not worth the value. Seemed like a big dining hall rather than a restaurant.

    Went there for Mother’s Day with 4 hungry people for lunch. Had a reservations for 12p and was seated at 1250p. Apparently reservations here are not adhered to or enforced. Very frustrating - when I told them manager she said “oh yah, that’s us on a Sunday and especially on a holiday”. Not effort was made to remedy this w a free app or cocktail - just a smile and shrug. The service was all over the board. Not too many kid friendly options so not great for kids. Overall the buffet has decent options but everything was pretty much cold items other than the brunch items which we didn’t have. Overall the meat selection was good but for the price I’d rather go somewhere else to get a cut that I really like. My kids loved the fun environment and loved seeing the carving from the servers but grumbled about the 50 min wait (esp on an empty stomach). People had to wait outside in the heat for their names to be called. Overall a decent experience but go during the weekday if you don’t want to wait.

    Fogo is one of our go-to restaurants, but I think that they might have over-extended themselves for the Mothers day event. We had to wait about 25 minutes past our reservation time, and then were taken to the table at the same time as another group and left standing until the staff figured it out. Servers were rather rushed, and the meat came out slowly. Overall though, they did an admirable job of keeping things flowing and the food quality did not suffer at all.

    Went here for Mother's Day brunch. This restaurant is taking advantage of the Mother's Day holiday rush by putting out a single table with prepared eggs and mini waffles in addition to their normal menu and calling it brunch. They also added a bunch of tables to the dining room in order to pack as many people in as possible. There were so many customers, it ended up being about 10 minutes between meat servings. A waste of a significant amount of money.

    Other then the check in host, everything thing was amazing! We had a reservation at 5:15pm and they said they would text us when our table was ready, when we tried to check in at 5:12pm and we then proceeded to stand outside in the heat for 25 minutes until another lady just came and grabbed us and took us to a table. We never did get the text and at about 5:30 I had went back up to the host to make sure we were checked in and again their response was if we didn’t text you please keep waiting, no other info. It felt very off from my other experiences

    We used to love coming here but we barely got anyone coming to us with meat. It’s been the same last two times we’ve come here. Had to ask our waitress multiple times to send someone over to us. Also we barely saw our waitress and desserts took forever to come to us. Had to ask for them to go. It was so crowded we couldn’t get in or out of our seats. They’re packing way too many people into a small space. Just isn’t the same classy experience we used to know.

    I believe the restaurant was better than Rodizio. The salad bar and cheese were my favorite. My husband and son loved the steak and chicken . It was somewhat noisy because there were a lot of people. My waitress was helpful and knowledgeable. It was a great experience for me and my family.

    My usual visit with Fogo is usually exceptional; however, this visit for my brother's b-day was sub standard and one that I didn't appreciate... The service was almost non existent with servers checking in once every 30-45 mins... And when it came to being asked for dessert or after meal drinks, this did not happen... WE were overlooked unlike other tables around us...

    My husband and I love to go to Fogo De Chao! We think the food is delicious, the service is excellent, and so the staff are very pleasant and helpful. We like going for lunch and then walk around Scottdale to enjoy the town/ sights afterward.

    Really upsetting experience unfortunately- I used to love this place! They for sure do have the best cheese balls however - the food the past couple times coming in was not like how it used to be. Either really bloody meat, or extremely over cooked meat. Everything we had was so so so salty. Our service was okay. We had to wait a few times for our server to ask for refills, etc. The floors and underneath the tables were really gross. Like they haven’t been cleaned in forever. Kind of off putting. Not worth the money anymore.

    We have been to fogo over 70 times previously and we have never experienced what we experienced on Sunday. While we get staffing shortages, the service was awful. From waiting to be seated and the front door staff bickering at each other, to waiting ten mins for a server, 20 mins for cocktails and only being offered meat sparingly (despite requests), we left and wrapped up dinner early.
