Dear Fogo de Chão Corporate Guest Relations Team, I am writing to formally express my profound disappointment with the dining experience my guest and I received at your Washington, DC, Wharf location on Saturday, October 24, 2026. We arrived for our 8:45 p.m. reservation and purchased two Full Churrasco Experiences, resulting in a total bill exceeding $200. Unfortunately, the level of service, attentiveness, hospitality, and overall dining experience fell significantly below what customers should reasonably expect from an establishment positioning itself as a premium Brazilian steakhouse.

Amazing food! Above and beyond on the steakhouse and salad bar. Attentive staff! Highly recommend!

Fogo de Chao quality of meat and ambiance has declined significantly. Orlando Florida sets the standard, all other locations can not compare. This restaurant has become a slightly elevated Golden Corral for Richmond and D.C locations. I don’t mind paying the price if my experience is met with quality food, and an elegant environment.

Overall good experience. The meat servers came by less often once a couple of our group had requested no more, but several still wanted more. We were a ten person group of business travelers, and they were unable to split checks. That would have been nice to know when making the reservation, we could have all picked up cash.

We hosted a group of 7 dinner on a mid-week reservation. The service was only average. Visits from the meat servers were irregular and the same offerings came again and again. Some special requests went unanswered. It was not their best effort. We let them know our feelings at billing and they provided a couple of gift cards for a future visit. Just not the value experience we expected.

The venue was lovely and the staff were all amazing. Service was great. Food was tasty and reasonably priced. Great wine selection.

We were there celebrating my sister's birthday. The service was good at first, but what made it outstanding were Ronnie and Liz.. , since I only eat certain meat, they made sure my plate was full. My sister enjoyed herself and her birthday desert at the end of our meal. Thank you for a wonderful birthday dinner.

I was very pleased with the service. We were sat quickly, all of the servers were attentive and friendly, and the food was fresh and delicious. I enjoy the atmosphere of this particular location. It feels less crowded than others. One area that could have been improved upon was the speed of the dessert. We ordered creme brûlée, and it took quite a long time to come; it seemed like the kitchen may have been backed up. When it did come, however, it was very good.
