The short rib burrito was a little oily and Bland, the seafood pasta was shrimp was amazing. Overall food 101 was good.
Great dining experience for a business meal. The menu options and chef recommendations were right on target. Unusual combinations (Short rib burrito, for example) were intriguing and delicious.
Food choices were great and very fresh. Food was over salted.
Waiter was very discreet and patient while we conducted our business before ordering dinner. Food was delicious and the service was great!
Was ok at best. It was my first time, however my friend had been there several times in the past and commented that it was not the Food 101 of the past. The service was very good; the food - ok - nothing groundbreaking.
The food was just...okay. My dayr had the meat loaf. She was not a fan. Me the ribs, jusr okay. Nothing special. Other than that nice restaurant.
Perfect location to meet friends before/after Chastain Park events. We ate at the bar and the wait staff were fun/engaging/attentive -- 100% prefection
The restaurant was totally empty almost the entire time we were there. We could not figure out why it was so empty.
We were looking for a special but convenient place for a small family gathering. We found Found 101 from a google search; it is now a keeper! We were in the small private room which turned out to be just perfect for the older hard of hearing members of the group! Food and service were outstanding!
For the price that was paid for the dinner, the food did not meet expectations. Meatloaf was enjoyable, but seemed expensive for what was served. Grouper was extremely salty and inhibited from overall taste. The spinach artichoke dip with bagel chips was excellent and very enjoyable.
There were 5 of us who went here for a birthday dinner. The service was very good, the ambiance was very good, prices for meals and wine were very reasonable. The only problem was that the food was just very average at best. From the meatloaf to the fried chicken to the special of chicken parm---it was all just average. The bread was fabulous and the key lime pie was very good. Again--everything about the restaurant was good--outside of the food. Sorry!!!!!
Ordered the chicken and waffles and the waffle was soggy. Just ok with the other entrees. Would definitely try other places for brunvh
I really enjoyed this small, tucked away food joint in Sandy Springs! The waiter was amazing and the food was spectacular. I was al little worried about service and the quality of my food since I came in 30 until closing, but everything was amazing. I will be returning.
My wife ordered a shrimp dish and when it came there were only three shrimp. We called the waitress over and she agreed the meal was incomplete and she would bring more shrimp. we waited for her to bring moe while I finished my meal. Still more shrimp did not come even after we tried to get the waitress' attention and we told the manager and another waitress. Finally it did come and the taste was acceptable. They also took the plate off the bill but we would have preferred to have good service.
Nice people. Nice place. Food is average for an above average price (not a premium price). I’ve been twice now when Traveling in Atlanta. Not the place for me again.
The meal was very ordinary. Each of our four meals made it to our table very slowly with yawing gaps of time in between. The meats were room temperature and the salad was extremely underwhelming. They should call the spinach dip “not better than Houston’s”
Brunch food was very good but very small quantities for cost. Bread was extra charge, biscuit $2.50. Added shrimp to a salad was $9 for 3 large shrimp. Skinny brunch dish featuring asparagus only had a few thin spears.
Old favorite restaurant with a new friend.
Everything was ok but noting exceptional. Wasn't mad I went but see no reason to return.
Very disappointed. Ordered meal and cheese appetizer before ordered entrees. Got entrees and appetizer had not been done. Ordered club soda with lemon. Came with lime. Asked for straws to use with water. Brought limes. Food was okay. Fried chicken did not specify filet on menu. Plus server did not have me chose small or large portion. Was brought small.
Disappointed and will not go back.
I'm not sure what happened to this restaurant. My first time there was a year ago and everything was perfect and the restaurant was packed. The last two times I've been there, it's been empty. I understand why. The quality of the food has gone down hill.
Someone sitting at a table across from me ordered the same item I did. She got hers first and I heard her complaining to the manager about how it tastes. I know everyone has different preferences, so I hoped mine would be better. It wasn't. I had the same exact problem with the meal the other guest had. Our two tables also ended up not getting the appetizers we ordered, where, in our case, they brought it out with our food. We sent it back.
All of this was explained to the manager, but he made no effort to try to make things better. He was more like, "thank you for your feedback" and he walked away. I will also be walking away from this restaurant permanently.
The assistant bartender, who seated us, neglected to report our fulfilling the reservation to Open Table and then tried to charge extra for the lime in a cocktail. The bartender and manager took pains to apologize for his rudeness.
Hostess looked put out to seat us.
You were not busy and took server 15 minutes to ask what I wanted to drink.
Then it took 20 minutes to get it. If I was not on a date I would have left.
I had to go to the hostess to ask for our server to take our order. She used her evil eyes to tell the server to attend to us.... yes she used her eyes to communicate
I will never come back. Management needs to shake up the staff
We celebrated a Birthday and found this restaurant offered a variety of great food choices and nice atmosphere. It's very casual and great place for group dinners.
This restaurant has changed quite a bit. It’s ok but I don’t want to go back.
The dishes were ok. The waiter was prompt.
The food was amazing!! From cheese and crackers app to the steaks.... everything was cooked to perfection!
Good service. Great brunch and cocktails.
We had a horrible experience at this restaurant a few days ago. For it to have been a staple in Roswell and me being a first time diner...I was totally disappointed. It was a dinner service where there was hardly anyone at the restaurant and they were out of a majority of the items on the menu and blaming it on their food delivery. They were out of several vegetables, proteins, etc. You could only get about ten items total based on their inventory! In addition, it was the server's first day and she did not know what she was doing, came to the table a few times total and never returned with the items we asked for, nor did she give us all the items that were not available when she gave the list. After bringing out the wrong entrees, as she did not know there was an entree version of tuna, in addition to, an entree. It was a terrible experience. The manager was arrogant and condescending as ever! In addition, there was a bug in the salt shaker. The dessert slices were minimal for key lime pie. I had to ask for our food to be discounted at which point he talks over me and says, "How about no bill?" I said, "fine," because at that point I do not see how he could ask anyone to pay for anything! They really need to assess staffing, training and food quality, in addition to, inventory! TERRIBLE RESTAURANT!!!!!
Went here for a friendly business dinner with three others. The food was very good - I had the organic rice & veggie bowl with chicken, another had the wild salmon (he snagged the one!), another had the steak salad - looked unremarkable but he said it was good. The fourth had brussels sprouts and ahi tuna. The sprouts were generous and delicious! the problem here is with the service which was terribly slow...really. very. slooooowwww. It was 6PM on a Tuesday night and there were only 3 other tables in the dining room. What's the problem??
Waiter messed up order, but restaurant gracious and took care of us. Just had to wait for my food while others got theirs.
I loved the atmosphere. Not thrilled there are no more bottomless mimosas.
Overall experience was ok. The hostess was not very nice, but the rest of the staff was. There was minor confusion with some of the food we inquired about and ordered. I would give it another try.
Great place to go before concert at Chastain Park.
Food is great!
No points for a 5:30 dinner? Wow! Not cool 101.
Waiter needed more training. Probably first day. No clue what beers or tequilas available and couldn't remember from the time bartender told him back to our table. Then we found beers listed on menu which he wasn't aware of. Never cleared appetizer plates or empty glasses for second round (or third) of drinks. Very friendly young man, he needs more training.
I've been to Food 101 on many occasions. Service is always good. However, I must say that I was a bit disappointed this time.
You offer a 3 egg omelet on your lunch menu, so I proceeded to order such, but requested that it be an egg white omelet. No other special request...just to make the omelet with egg whites only. The server said she would have to ask the kitchen if that was possible. Upon her return to the table, she told me "no" they were unable to make me an egg white omelette. I told her I had never heard of such a thing...she apologized stating she was just the messenger. As a result I ordered a salad instead.
Once she went to ring in the order, she came back out saying the kitchen was now telling her they could make the egg white omelet for me. Not sure why all of a sudden they changed their minds...it's not like the restaurant was busy, as there were only about 3 other active tables at the time....but I found it strange & decided to stick with the salad instead.
I've never had a restaurant tell me they couldn't accommodate my request, especially when it was as simple as making an omelette without the yolks.
Really good food and value. Nice feel, too. Only complaint was they didn’t have several items shown on their online menu, among the missing ones were items for which we selected the restaurant in the first place.
We were not overly impressed with service. The food was OK. We had told them it was our anniversary but no attention was paid to that nor any token gesture what so ever. Would not go back except maybe for the burger at lunch time.
It was a Mother’s Day dinner celebration. The dining room was hot. The menu was limited. No appetizers were appealing. The cocktails were good. My son enjoyed his steak frites and my other son liked the ribs. My husbands burger was too rare. My daughter and I ordered the salmon salad. The lettuce did not even cover the plate! What a joke of a salad for $20. It was more of a garnish for the salad. The salmon was small but good. Overall disappointed. Would not return.
Went to this restaurant for Mother's Day.
The place was clean and cozy. We had a reservation and were seated right away. The ambiance was nice with a vibrant noise level. Our waitress was really nice and was attentive. Moderate choices of food types on the menu.
The food was just, "Meh." Was expected so much more flavor for the price. The portions were small for the price as well. I usually need a To-Go box when I'm done eating, that didn't happen here.
Overall, nice atmosphere, food was overpriced and under seasoned. Unfortunately, we won't be back.
