Beautiful restaurant, love the wood and plants. Sandwich and soup looked delicious. Beet Salad good, but not a meal and overpriced.
Everything was wonderful! The service, food and ambience was perfect for a working lunch. We especially loved the cauliflower appetizer and the S'mores Milkshake.
The server had no personality and gave me inaccurate food allergy information. Some of our food was cold, the fried chicken and biscuit were horrible, and we were overcharged for our order.
The food was not as good as our first visit last month, when it was excellent. Neither was the service. I had the same main course - meat and potatoes - the steak was gristly and the potatoes greasy. We had a restless toddler with us so we asked for two milkshakes to go. Twenty minutes later, when they finally arrived, the server (who was not our waiter) simply said "We're real busy." No apology for making us wait. This is a new restaurant and I know they have to work out the "kinks." But the owners are experienced restaurateurs and this lack of good service and uneven quality of the menu items is pretty inexcusable.
Deffinitly not worth the hype. Service was poor. Simple items like adding chicken to a salad was forgotten and then took 20 minutes to get corrected. Manager delivered corrected portion but really didn't seem to care.
Very expensive for a burger that can be our chased elsewhere.
Did I mention, service was horrible
Overall, really good comfort food. I am sure that I will return. The food service was relatively quick, our server was attentive, and the food tasted great. The hostess was not as welcoming as I would have expected, especially since this is a new establishment. It seems that in the initial days and weeks of opening, the first person that greets you should be exceptionally nice, and exceptionally accommodating. The hostess was neither. Notwithstanding that, I will be back as the food was good and this part of Howard County needs a restaurant like Food Plenty.
We picked the perfect night to visit a restaurant that features “comfort food”. It was snowing and miserable outside, but dinner was wonderful. I don’t think there was anything on the menu that didn’t appeal to me. I ultimately ordered the rockfish, which was wonderful. Husband had the “meat and potatoes” and said the steak was perfectly prepared. We also had the pierogi appetizer and the apple crisp dessert, and both were delicious. The drink menu offered a great selection of local products. Service was prompt and efficient without being intrusive, and the waitress was knowledgeable and helpful about the menu. The restaurant is divided into smaller rooms, which helps keep the noise down a little and gives a comfy feel. It looked like there were lots of large tables which would be good for groups, and when it does warm up, there will be outside seating. We’ll definitely be back.
Food good. Very “industrial “decor “. Food was good with generous portions. Wait staff friendly, well informed
The staff was friendly and the food was very good. I would describe it as upscale comfort food. We will definitely be going back there. The noise level was just right—not too loud to talk and not so quiet that we felt like everyone could hear our conversation.
Food Plenty is one of the great restaurants in Howard County. The food, atmosphere and service were outstanding. The fish and steak dishes - delicious and the appetizers - a great way to start the meal. Please don’t forget the best beer in Maryland. I would recommend Food Plenty over and over again.
Great food, wonderful atmosphere
First time going. Heard good things and it lived up to the comments I heard. Not a lot of vegetarian options for my friend but she did find something she enjoyed.
This was my 2nd meal at Food Plenty and my husband and I look forward to this being one of our favorite go to spots. Food and atmosphere are terrific! If you are looking for a fun spot you found it!
Great service. The tables are a bit to close to each other. My husband and i went for our annual Valentine’s dinner and felt as though we were sitting right next to other couples. I would suggest to remove a table or to to space out the seating. Portion size was good. We will return.
I had the gnocchi and my husband had the fried chicken. Food was delicious and authentic. The ambiance for date night wasnt great but server was pleasant.
