It was not what I expected. It was like they piled everyone on top of each other. Had to send my plate back because it was wrong. Don’t think I would visit again. But the rooftop on the other hand was entertaining before the rooftop cinema. I will visit those two again. Just have dinner elsewhere.

Good location in Fulton Market but not in the middle of the other restaurants. Good food. Nice outdoor space which is covered. Fire pits for the cooler temps. Comfortable seating. Good for midweek lunch.

Our group chose to sit outside, so perfect weather was a plus. We enjoyed the food and were able to have a conversation as the background music and ambience were enough to hear but not overwhelm.

The restaurant is super cute and located on the ground floor of a very lovely boutique hotel. The hostess and our wait staff person (Lexi) were amazing. Drinks were delicious, food was great and experience was just overall lovely. Would come back in a heartbeat. FYI, the Lemonberry Drop and the meatballs as appetizers were my absolute favorite. Go for happy hour and get both of those (and several other selections) for half off.

The service was very challenging and the restaurant was empty. The food was closer to upscale bar food than I was expecting it was good. The drinks were good and space is cute. If the service was better we would have had a much different experience!

Beautiful restaurant in the Emily hotel. Food was very good, but my husband and future son-in-law felt that the pork belly portion was small and could have used a potato and veggie side. I had the salmon and it was delicious and a good portion. Caesar salad dressing was excellent and cocktails were delicious. It was an expensive meal, but we know that when dining in the great city of Chicago, you will pay a bit more.

Very good meal as usual. Excellent service and ambience. A lot of fine dining places across the city have silly rules: no one sits until the full party arrives, only 90 minutes to eat your meal, all food orders have to be put in at the same time. Fora has none of that. It's just relaxed and friendly. I highly recommend.

We had a reservation at 8:30 and they closed they kitchen at 8:45. We felt that we were in a rush to order. The menu and website states that they have service from 4-10 pm which is misleading. They should not let guests be able to make reservation with such a short ordering period. Our food came first than our drinks and the great part of our experience was the outside ambiance and live music they had for a while.

Went to Fora for Happy Hour. It was a lot of fun. The drinks were good, the service was fine, although seemed a bit understaffed once it got really busy. The food was good. Very energetic vibe and great outdoor seating.

1st time I have been here since they became The Emily. It's a beautiful hotel and great outdoor opportunities. Service is a bit slow but it was quite busy. Food was good, but a bit overpriced for the quality. 1/2 bottles of wine on Thursdays is always a win.

The food was good but the service was extremely slow and completely mediocre. The waitress would constantly forget what we ordered, bought us food without silverware, coffee without sugar, or when she did bring the sugar she didn’t bring a spoon. Very disappointed in the service.

This was a let down visit. Once we got our first rounds of drinks, it took our waitress 30+ minutes to come and check on us. Then we probably waited another 45 minutes to put one entree in, which came out cold. The most frustrating part was our waitress Kate just never came back to our table after dinner was served. I am not sure if her shift was over, but we were not made aware and left waiting for a really long time before I went up to the bar to ask to be helped. Then I had to ask the front desk about our check since it was taking so long to get it, and the lady who rang us out was going to take my credit card without showing me the bill first. It was a really unpleasant, poor experience with service and food all around. The only positive of this is the happy hour from 4-6 with half off cocktails. I do not recommend going here unless it's for a drink or two before another dinner in the area.

The street corn and guacamole were so yummy, and our drinks were amazing! The happy hour deal for 1/2 cocktails is a good one. Not sure if they were just severely under staffed, but the service was pretty slow and we had to call somebody over multiple times to remind them we hadn’t been helped/hadn’t gotten our order. I got the green apple and squash salad for my entree and was underwhelmed, but my friend loved the Fora chopped salad! I’d be willing to try it again, just hopefully when they’re properly staffed….

We sat made an 8:15 reservation and arrived on time. We were immediately told that the kitchen was closing and needed to order everything at once. There were reservations that went past 9pm which was the time they quoted the kitchen closing. What if we made a later reservation?! This is crazy. If you close your kitchen at 9pm you should stop seating at 8pm because we were rushed and at that point regretted our reservation completely. Food was good but I guess be sure to not make a reservation after 8pm. No wonder it was empty on a Friday night!

Stopped by Fora for Easter with my husband. Cute resturant, great service and not too loud—perfect for brunch or lunch. Also looks like they have a great patio that would be lit in the summer.

Food was ok, but overall pretty pricy and compared to similar restaurants, it was just ok. We ordered 2 apps and 2 dishes, and for some reason, all of the food was brought out at the same time. The main dishes got cold by the time I got to it. It was just odd.
