My partner is vegetarian and it was disappointing to find no vegetarian options on the large plate menu. When we inquired about options our server was confused like it was the first time she came across a vegetarian. We then chose the rice dish (minus the meat) but it took them 3 attempts to get it right. Mine was then cold by the time they got it right.

I was also brought 2 glasses of wine when I ordered by two different servers. They took back one but left me with the wine I hadn’t ordered.

The other dishes were excellent and the environment is great.

We were very impressed with the food. Similar sized portions to other restaurants of this type. This restaurant has two separate seating areas, an east and west area. Our experience likely would have been much better if we had sat on the east side of the restaurant. The west side of the restaurant feels like the seating area of a mall food court. The tables were so small that we couldn’t fit two large plates and a single small plate on the table. The couple beside us ordered 4 dishes and had to put their first dish in a to go box on the floor to make room on their table for the rest of their dishes. The same couple also had a room divider knocked into them as one of the servers was trying to squeeze by. The east side of the restaurant is much nicer and if I were to make another reservation I would specifically request to be seated on the east side.

I love Vietnamese food so when I saw their menu I was really excited to try their Mango Slaw and the Cha Ca, both dishes didn't disappoint and were great interpretation of the real thing. I hope they had more Vietnamese inspired dish on their menu! The service was a bit slow in the beginning because there was an hockey game and they were packed, but as soon as people left for the game the services was good.

Excellent food and service only comment was that they just had a bottle left of a nice Brunello and we were 10 people. Probably best to warn us this was the case as we were clearly going to drink more wine. Otherwise spotless service and fantastic food.

Been here twice, mainly to see if it was a one hit wonder, or if it would match up to our first experience (which was awesome). Good news, they’re consistent!! We had as good of a time as our first time. Food, service and ambiance are all consistent. If this place isn’t on your list, add it right now. It’s amazing!

Interesting food, gourmet twist on Asian comfort favourites. A couple small plates and one large plate was plenty to share between two people. The pork belly char siu baos were a delicious combo of flavours. Also had the tuna tartare and kimchi which certainly had some spicy kick! Would come back again to try other dishes

Shared five appetizers and three entrees between four of us and everyone was sufficiently full. Lots of great flavours and fun dishes. Cocktails were great. NYE meant slow service but understandable given the volume.

They were slammed on a Sat night. Felt sorry for the servers and waiters as the people and dishes kept piling up around us. Staff was heroic, but restaurant was memorable because of the chaos when it should have been about their outstanding food.

We feasted on appy's and drank wine! The appy's were wonderful, didn't have the main course. really enjoyed the charcuterie and the Brussels sprouts and the spring roll. Probably would have given 5 stars if we had ordered main course!

We were here for a reunion dinner and absolutely impressed by the food and service!
We got the Squid Ink Pasta, Char Siu pork and foie gras buns, short rib fried rice, trout, and tofu and enjoyed all of it. Will definitely be back soon!

This was our first time dining here and I would go back. The shed dish approach is fun with a couple or small group.

We enjoyed the brussels spouts, found the cauliflower average, like the Begogi (sp?) rolls. Mains were pork chop and fried rice (yum!)

Decent wine list by both the glass and bottle.

We went here for dinner after hearing great things.

Our server was really helpful, explaining how to order and what dishes are the most popular.

For small plates, we had the brussel sprouts and the cauliflower. The cauliflower was delicious. The brussel sprouts, which have a glaze on them weren't great. The glaze was burned, therefore the whole dish tasted burnt and that was really the only flavour we could taste.

For the large dishes, we had the steamed buns and the duck. The steamed buns were good but not anything special. And the duck was average, we have had better elsewhere. The duck breast seemed tough.

For dessert, we had the lime cheesecake which was really great.

Overall, we felt the prices did not match the food. It was really expensive for average dishes.

Date night out with my wife.
I searched Vietnamese on Open Table and this came up as a suggestion. It was definitely more Korean Fusion than Vietnamese, but this was probably one of the best meals we have had at a restaurant in the past few years. We will definitely return again.

Staff was friendly and courteous. Food was absolutely amazing!!!
