The food at Founder's House is always spectacular. Chef Pyne and his staff are absolutely first class. Brent and his staff provide excellent, friendly and knowledgeable service. Founder's is an absolute must for anyone living or visiting in the Annapolis area.

My wife and I went for Brunch on Sunday and it was a great time. Had the chicken and waffles and it was really good. The service was amazing and value for the money was great. We will go again for sure.

Lovely spot (on a golf course, just outside of Annapolis Royale). Prix fixe menu -- pricey but very good selections excellent preparation, magnificent presentations and, at the end, a lot of food. Only one quivbble: my wife had the pork, and the slices of the roast loin were a bit salty - like the loin had been brined. That gave it an excellent texture, but too salty for us. (The other pork piece, though -- a roasted shank -- was excellent). A great place for a special evening.

Very well planned menu. Good appetizers and cocktails. The sauces are excellent. Plating is superb. Meats are tender and juicy. Deserts are good but not out there. Service is impeccable. We enjoyed our evening.

Our special occasion dinner at Founders House was absolutely wonderful. My husband and I selected the Chef’s Choice as a menu option. This 7 course meal was one of the best meals we have ever had. Each course (unknown until it arrived at our table) was exquisite in flavour and presentation, acknowledging the talent and imagination of the chef. Each course was well-timed, and although overall our dinner lasted almost 4 hours, the evening was one we will remember for a long time.

App was delicious, dessert as well. I am gluten free, they accommodated that, but the main was not great. We mentioned it to the server. Was told the Cornish Hen was Sous vide . It was chewy and 75% 0f the meat was pink. The couscous was like mush. My husband who is not gluten free, ordered the same meal from the menu and his was fine.

Bucket list dining experience. The courses were so perfectly timed. All staff served all tables and they were lovely and attentive. The food was incredible. Favorite item was the crispy pork belly. Just wow.

My husband and I came to Founders House for our 13 year wedding anniversary yesterday. It was our first time dining here and we were not disappointed. This is an understatement! Everything from the atmosphere, to the food, to the service was outstanding. I cannot express how lovely it all was. I am a self proclaimed “foodie” and this was a foodie’s heaven to say the least. The matching of flavours and textures were spot on. The waiter was kind, professional and had a great sense of humour. It felt like a friend was serving us. I would give this restaurant 5 stars ! We will definitely come back for more anniversary’s to come 🙂

This was my 17 year old grandson’s first haute cuisine tasting experience. He was very excited by the unique flavours of each dish. This was our first visit to Founders and we will definitely return. The chef is innovative and resourceful, and we very much enjoyed our meal. Our main courses were the strongest of those we enjoyed and the foccacia is wonderful. The snacks and desserts, while beautiful, were not as strong. The service could not have been improved.
