   Great breakfast experience with a friend. The breakfast tacos, the latte, the waffles and the benedict were delicious. Good-sized portions, but not too much. Brianna was our server and she was excellent and made our experience very nice. I've found Founding Farmers a hit or miss experience, but thanks to Brianna's service, I'll definitely be back.

   Food quality and value was great. Only major item that was over salted was the fried fish. Personally, I am not a fan of buttered salt in my desserts so for me the cookies were salty but for those of you that like buttered salt in your chocolate chip cookies you will be fine. I like my eggs Benedict’s to be runny when I cut into them. I tried two fresh ones that they just prepared and they were cooked all the way through. Salads were amazing, salmon was amazing, but the seafood in the paella was dry. The one item that by far needs to be improved on the menu is the French toast. It looks like a big piece of brownie but when I used the tongs to put it on my plate it was clearly overcooked but so were the other 25 pieces that nobody was touching. To French toast lovers this is an insult and the item needs a redo. French toast should not look or feel like a big dark brown piece of coal. The piece of fried chicken I got was supposed to be spicy but I think they may have put it on the wrong side. It was good but not the least bit spicy. I was disappointed. The donuts were cold and dry so unfortunately I was disappointed with those also. I’m pretty sure those have to be eaten fresh when prepared but since it did not taste good I had no reason to order any to go from their bakery. Not to sound negative from all my criticism but this was my first impression of the food. I will still go back and try it again, but I really wished it was better today.

   We had breakfast at 8.45am on a Sunday. I had emailed in advance that it was a special occasion and this was acknowledged by front of house but not by wait staff. It was busy. Coffee took 20 mins to to arrive and then another drink after 25 mins. No refills were offered. Breakfast arrived after 45 mins with no apology. Other table next to us was about to leave. Wait staff did not check on table and had to be found -e.g. no maple syrup with breakfast so had to go find waitress. No salt or pepper. No one checked on meal or refilled drinks. Eventually gave up asking for anything. Asked for box and no given so eventually my dining partner went and got one ourselves from the wait station and we did it ourselves.

    This must be the best place for brunch only. We decided to have the lunch menu because brunch is only buffet style. Post Covid I find that to be pretty gross and people were visibly leaning into the food to smell or look into it. The lunch was tasteless and our family tried multiple different meals. I would say try your luck with brunch but not lunch or dinner.

    The food was markedly bland. I can appreciate moderating the amount of sodium added to dishes, but this was exceptionally bad. Mac and cheese flavorless. Parmesan grits flavorless. Dried out food presented in buffet. Sampled multiple desserts that were also underwhelming. I was excited before the meal, but by the time it was done, I was convinced to never come back. Big let-down.

    Multiple dishes and drinks were not available. The short ribs were extremely dry. Our waitress disappeared for 45 min and we had to place our drink orders with someone else.

    We had the most fantastic late night dinner! Our server was Maggie and she was tall and blonde and wholesome and healthy and made some fantastic suggestions for us! We kind of ran out of time and we were so grateful that this restaurant stays open until 10! We had a 9:45 reservation and we noticed how clean they keep this place! They had a flashlight and they were inspecting every table as they were cleaning them! The floor, The tables, the silverware, receipts… Everything was being inspected and cleaned to perfection! Our most favorite, was the Keylime pie! It tasted homemade and it was so perfect! We could’ve eaten limitless amounts of this!! Another thing so perfect, is the crabcakes! It’s all crab and there is no filler and it is so amazing! Definitely worth the $32 for two of them, and we substituted the coleslaw for some nice green beans and we substituted the french fries for smashed potatoes that were with the skins at all! So delicious and healthy! We also got the cod, With vegetables but it needed some flavor. So my friend had to ask for salt, pepper, and olive oil to make it more palatable. It’s like they forgot the seasoning. It was just in water. We should’ve gotten the all good greens salad or the purple and Black kale salad, they are both phenomenal! The pierogies here are also good as we recall, but we had some nice mock-tales… mango and sours and lime…called, the Ricky! Definitely would get that again. And my friend had the hibiscus soda. Maggie made some wonderful suggestions and we really enjoyed our dinner she is a great server! Super clean, and she brought the salt and pepper and olive oil for my friend. She also suggested her favorite drink the Ricky, and it really was fabulous! She also suggested the coconut cream pie and we will try that next time. We were very full and had no room left. Thank you for being open late and for being the best! Can’t wait to come back to have that Keylime pie and those crabcakes!

    We always love Founding Farmers. The one thing that disturbed me was that we told our waitress that my daughter had a tree nut allergy. Then another server dropped off a bread basket, which had the nuts that she is allergic to baked into the bread. Thank goodness we checked! I think the wait staff should be able to communicate to the rest of the restaurant so to avoid bringing an allergen to the table. Take food allergies more seriously, please.

    We’ve been to other Founding Farmer locations in the DC area and were looking forward to trying the KOP location. How disappointing! While our waitress did her very best, the food was certainly not up to the Dan Simon standard that we’re used to in DC. The pirogies were awful - made from some pancake like batter? Not traditional at all. My boyfriend’s Cacio Pepe had zero flavor. We even took home some beignets and they were so greasy, and the sauces were watery. We were hoping for a special experience at FF, but this was a total miss.

    Food came out wrong. A little too expensive for the amount of food you get. And it is very loud I could not even hear my girlfriend talking to me across the table, we had to borderline yell to communicate. Would not return.

    Food was below average and not worth the cost. Green beans were cold and very hard, like they weren’t even cooked. Asked for gravy three times, still waiting as it never came. Couple next to use complained to the server about several of there items.

    I really wanted to like Founding Farmers. I love the concept and the restaurant is airy and pleasantly decorated. The menu is varied and interesting, and the service was absolutely excellent. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The "Devilish Eggs" desperately needed seasoning, and the "Garlic Pepper Wings" were also under seasoned as well as dried out. The waiter instructed us to squeeze lime over the wings but it wasn't enough to save them. The sauteed green beans were under cooked. No one wants mushy vegetables but these were essentially raw. The short rib was delivered in a puddle of a sweet bbq sauce that did not mask that it was overcooked, dry and tasteless. Overall a disappointing meal.

    We had a great breakfast at Founding Farmers - King of Prussia! Christian was a great server, and the food was great! Loved the ambiance of the restaurant. Since it was a Saturday morning, there were tons of people waiting for a table, so I'm glad we had a reservation.

    not a bad place good energy if I could change anything they make you make a reservation and then you still have to wait in a waiting room that is very small and the server had to be ask a few time for ice for the water other then that a very nice place will be going back
