Highly recommend this restaurant. The servers and manager are very attentive and caring. They make sure the food and your experience are great and satisfy your standards. I’ve tried their steak, salmon, and many of their other dishes and I’m satisfied every time proving that they are consistent. Good food, good vibes.

We had a reservation for 7 pm and we got stuck in some traffic as we were coming from out of town. I called to let the know we'd be late and they said that wasn't a problem. We were seated promptly when we arrived. Our server Lawrence came by a few minutes later and we asked for menus. We didn't realize that you just had to scan the QR code on the table card. No biggie just the newer way I guess. We were there for their January special. All menu items capped at $20.25! And all wine bottles are also capped at $20.25. It's a great promotion especially with the no HST right now. We both ordered spring rolls for an app but we should have on ordered one to split. We are older and don't eat as much as we used to. Again no biggie, they brought us a box to take them home. We ordered a bottle of red & a bottle of white. Wine by the glass is $13 to $20 so it's a no brainer. We already inquired about taking any remaining wine home as one of us was driving. I had the Ribeye steak, usually $46 and my wife had the stuffed chicken breast, normally over $30 I think. I would probably have the strip loin the next time as I liked it better when we last ate there. Personal preference. Lawrence checked on us periodically, enough to make sure we were doing ok but not so much as to be intrusive. We ordered a chocolate almond brownie for a little dessert When we were ready to leave Lawrence re-corked our wines as per the law of Ontario (I believe). The bill for all this was $102. We tipped generosity and on the amount that the bill would have been. Please remember the servers are doing the same job when everything is discounted so tip on the regular prices. This is an upscale pub & sports bar. They had a DJ playing when we first arrived and we found the music a bit loud for casual conversations. I got less loud after the DJ stopped. Lots of tv's for sports. I would recommend Fox on John. Note.: I only drank red wine I still have 2/3+ of the bottle. Please don't Drink & Drive

The bottomless brunch special is an amazing deal, if you can eat and drink you’ll definitely get your money’s worth. Coconut Ice cream waffles and the chicken and waffles were my favourite

Fox on John’s bottomless brunch is a must-try! The Honey Truffle Ricotta was heavenly, the Sausage Patties perfectly seasoned, the Chicken and Waffles crispy and tender, and the Eggs Benny absolutely flawless. Amazing food, great vibes, and top-notch service—can’t wait to go back!

The music level really put a damper on our experience. We went based on my past experience. We could barely have a conversation. This was a Sunday afternoon brunch not a Friday/Saturday night. I don’t want to be that person to ask that the music be turned down, but I had to. We didn’t notice any change after the request. It will make me question recommending this restaurant again.

The restaurant and the staff were so welcoming. We were celebrating our anniversary, staff made sure you got the best table. The food was reallyyy good. We had the Lobster Pasta and the Steak. Definitely recommend!!!!
