    Everything was great at The Fox. The only thing I didn’t like was how close the tables were and how everyone passing by the high tables kept hitting down our jackets bc everything was so close. But other than that the food was amazing, the customer service was amazing and the live band was great too.

    Server barely even came to us. My wine glass had lip stains on it so I had to go to the bar to get a clean one because we didn’t have anyone come to our table. We had to wave down our server every time we got tired of waiting. Oh and they wanted to give our table away before we finished ordering lol

    Everything was great! The food was prepared quickly and was hot and delicious, service was great and I just love Fox and the Fiddle. I eat here every time I come to Toronto for a theatre show on King St W. Would highly recommend!

    Went because the food menu looked good. Didn't realize the place was trying to pack the guests in so tightly and blasting loud music. Between the music and conversations of tightly seated guests the noise level was disturbing. Just sat at the booth for a moment and decided to leave for the sake of my hearing.

    I brought my cousin and my best friend for their birthday brunch. The live music was great the service was great! Also the food was delicious! Loved the ceasers perfect way to kill a hangover. I'm definitely coming back!

    Went for happy hour and had the fish taco, bang bang shrimp (would've liked to have more than 5 pieces), the fries (had to ask for more parm) and charred broccoli. Our server was very attentive. Good atmosphere!

    The menu is lengthy and only available via your phone, this involves a lot of scrolling back and forth. The food we chose was all very good -one Shepherds pie, one stuffed chicken and one Pasta seafood Arrabatia. Our dinners arrived in a timely manner and were attractively presented. Serving Staff were helpful and efficient. It was Happy Hour when we went so all House Wine was $8.00 a glass and was quite acceptable. We would visit again.

    loved the seating ambience and the brunch selection the avocado toast was fabulous portions are small though steak salad tasty but again small salad I left hungry coffee was not very good it was warm. service was polite and friendly however It was very busy so it was hard to get coffee refills perhaps have coffee carafes on the table

    We made a reservation for our party but didn't have a table large enough to seat us when we first arrived. Something was sorted out quite quickly but we needed to make some adjustments so that we didn't feel on top of the table already seated in the area. Our server was fantastic when we had her attention. She seemed to be covering a large area so sometime is was difficult to get her attention. Food was great. Love the individual washrooms however the soap was out in one and in another the sink taps hardly worked. Great location and we did manage to get all paid up in good time to get to our show at the theatre so we will be back.

    The food was ok. But the service was atrocious. Our server came twice to our table. To take our order. Had to Call another waiter to bring us salt and pepper and condiments. Took over 10 minutes. Had to ask another for coffee. One cup was half full the other was warm. No one came back again called another waiter. The beef dip sauce was so salty you almost couldn’t eat it. The music was so loud where we sat which was in a tight corner and we made reservations weeks before the date. The waitress came back to pay our bill. That took over 10 minutes to return with the machine. Very disappointed.

    The food was great! Very fast, hot, and tasty. Decent value for what you got. But the high tables are so close to each other and small, that my shoulder was touching the person at the next table. Our 3 plates didn't fit on the table with our 2 drinks.

    I recently visited this place with a group of girlfriends for a Thursday evening get-together after work. We decided to take advantage of the happy hour specials, which offered a variety of food options priced between $6 and $8. However, I found the drink options during happy hour somewhat limited, especially considering the need for a balanced selection of the available food. The Spritz was decent, though it didn't quite match up to an authentic Italian Aperol Spritz ( we were a group of italians, we know the real deal) We requested less ice, as it's common use here to have the glass filled to the brim with ice, leaving little room for the drink. The first round was satisfactory, but when a friend ordered another one, it tasted like sparkling water with no discernible flavor. We informed our server, and she replaced it, but the flavor was still lacking (it didn't necessarily need to capture the wine flavor, but at least the orange from the Aperol). As for the food, we ordered nearly all the available items. The charred broccoli was disappointing, feeling more like it had been boiled and then drenched in excessive garlic and a hint of Parmesan – we left it untouched. The crispy chicken bites weren't as crispy as expected, but they were okay in terms of flavor. The spring rolls were decent, and surprisingly, the bang bang shrimp stood out as a good choice. Despite some disappointments, I am willing to give this place another chance and explore different menu options on my next visit

    I would like to mention that our server did not fill up on our waters until the very end. Our server didn't remember what each one of us ordered, she asked us how many snacks we each ordered and then charged some of us $6 and some $8 with incorrect item description . We asked for seperate bill, she recorded the snack count , we got bday cake, half an hour later she told us we need to leave as there is another party..which was odd since we asked for our bill half an hour ago.. we agreed There was a magician that performed infront of us! legendary guy!!! food was meh, fries were fries with very little parm, $8 for 5 pieces of shrimp not great value, but salmon crositini were fanastic, sangrias were great too! Will come back here for drinks and hope to have different server

    Very unhappy that when I arrived early for my twice confirmed indoor reservation for brunch before a theatre performance, I was told I was going to have to be seated outside. It was 3C! Finally I was accommodated after arguing with 3 staff. My group of 3 was in our 70’s , not at all prepared to sit outside. We had a table for 2 with a makeshift seat in the isle. Service was terribly slow, noise level was too loud. We will not return.
