   very pretty and upbeat restaurant, full of cool people , mostly younger crowd . music was more suitable for a club, and some people may object to that . mashed potatoes , lamb, filet mignon , cauliflower - were amazing . chopped salad and green beens should l be removed from the menu - total disappointment - due to lack of any flavor or sophistication ( more suitable for diners or hospital caffeteria) . drinks were overpriced . overall , i’d be back - but will order accordingly. waiters were very nice and cordial .

   So.. if you’re paying $65 for your meal you’re receiving liiiiiittle piece of meat and some fries.. this is so ridiculous.. if you are hungry don’t go this place lol. After this when we’re out from this ‘’restaurant’’ the waiter run after us and told us that we have to leave them a tip. Omg this is awful. I have never had this type of bed experience. Just Don’t go there and waste your time and nerves!!!!

   This was our 2nd time at Francines, the service was exceptional, unfortunately the food was average at best. chicken dry, salad no flavor...apple tart boring. Sorry, wish I felt differently.

   It was my Wife’s birthday and the experience at Francine was simply amazing. Stanley our server made us feel right at home. His knowledge of the menu helped us out a great deal. He came over to us on several occasions just to make sure that we were ok and to see if we needed anything else to make our night a memorable one. We are definitely coming back to Francine. Thank You again for making my Wife’s birthday a amazing one.

    The food was very good but expect a bit more from a #1 rated restaurant. No white table cloths so the waiter slops the table with a wet rag in between dinner and dessert. Had to flag a waiter to order wine when our dinner was served. They seemed surprised when we asked for bread. And then had to ask for butter or olive oil when we received the bread.     Server forgot appetizers. No apologies. When they finally came one (calamari) was grossly overcooked and a meager portion. Main courses were sufficient but definitely not as good as on many prior visits -- Sunday night cook or declining quality?

    App was great but entrees were mediocre at best. Duck was cooked correctly but little to no seasoning. Lamb was just bland and crust was wet and soggy food wasn’t very memorable. Just disappointing. Expectations were greater. Staff was great and drinks were solid

    The below average ambience paired with less then mediocre food . Came to celebrate the special occasion, the staff did not even acknowledge it . Was seated next to a table with the baby . The duck was under cooked and chewy . Wife clips not even finish her sea bass (was under cooked and chewy) Paid almost $400 for a less then mediocre experience. The restaurant has a look and feel of just an overpriced lunch join .

    They ran out of the dishes we were going to eat on the pre-set Mother’s Day brunch menu. The alternatives were basically the dishes that few people wanted and we ended up trying one which was quite good and they brought extra of an appetizer that they include for Al guests. The issue was the way they handled the situation. We arrived early and were seated on-time. The different “courses” were only made once we finished the previous and because they were out of Calamari and tuna tar tar it took them an hour before we even received a few tiny toast crackers with cheese on them. Very yummy by the way. We were so hungry by the time we were told that the items on the pre-set menu were no longer available that we were at a loss when the on-duty manager asked us what we would like instead to which she said that most of the things we asked for were unavailable LOL. After we received our food and our children received their food things went more smoothly. I think it cost around $280 for two adults and two children under 8 years old so to not get what we were expecting and to wait an hour for a tiny piece of toast for each of us was very disappointing. I think we would give the restaurant another chance but maybe not. We’ll see.

    I’ve been here once before on my birthday last year and had a great time with my girlfriends. I took my grandmother here for Mother’s Day, and was disappointed to find out upon our arrival that many of the seafood options were unavailable with no substitute, seafood options. As a pescatarian that was very disappointing. As an alternative to the seafood options that were no longer available I was offered bread and olives, salad, french fries, or a simple pasta with red sauce, and no protein.  Full disclosure our reservation was later in the afternoon, but I was not made aware that the menu would be so limited until my arrival at the restaurant. Being that the menu was a fixed menu and all that was available this was disappointing and would’ve been nice to know before we arrived for a reservation.  Our server was wonderful, friendly and helpful, and did the best he could to make up for the shortcomings. The food that was available to order was tasty and the ambience was very energetic a bit loud but tolerable.

    Gave this place, another chance, and it was worse. We had a “meh” experience here last year, but I loved the ambience, and wanted to try again for Mother’s Day. Let’s start with what was good: the appetizers, the cocktails, and the eggs from the eggs Benedict. It all went downhill from there. Because we had a late reservation (1pm) they had already run out of some of our choices. It happens, I get it. We switched to some of the recommended alternatives, with minor alterations (no dairy, etc.) Don’t you hate it when a table sits down long after you, but still get served first? This happened twice. By the time our appetizers arrived we had already been waiting over an hour. Two of the four entrées were burnt to a crisp and essentially inedible. The staff did what they could, but back when I was waiting tables, I would have never put food like that in front of a customer. We left without eating our desserts, and will not be coming back to Francines.

    We have dined here at least 4-5 times. Both lunch and dinner. The service and food has always been consistent. In fact we often order the same things and the quality is always what we expected. It's my second time celebrating Mother's Day here and my mom could not have been happier. The atmosphere is perfect and so is the location.

    Disappointed as Francine’s is always my go to for special occasions. Love the restaurant and always great food. Unfortunately, Mother’s Day was extremely disappointing. Salmon was way undercooked and no flavor to anything. Not sure what happened but this wasn’t up to par 😞.

    We sat outdoors so little noise around us. Croque madame and cocktails were very good. Quirre lorraine had a superb crust and a bit too much bacon- otherwise excellent. Olive oil cake with mascarpone and honey was disappointing - cake was tiny- provided in small squares and was dry to taste. I will go for a different dessert in the future. Our service was fantastic. Arrive early to find public parking- mall valet is 20 dollars.

    Our second visit and it didn't disappoint. Even though I made a reservation well in advance and when we arrived there were many open tables they tried to place use at a big table in the middle. When I requested a booth in the corner they put us in a booth next to the entrance. Don't know what it t as kes to get a good table ?

    We like the restaurant very much and dine there regularly. The recent visit was nice except the new summer soup (tomato potato cold soup) was surprisingly unbalanced sour. We really liked the prior mushroom soup which brought a wonderful satisfaction to the taste buds, and expected the new summer soup to be as nice. Unfortunately, the sour taste was quite unpleasantly overpowering. Hope it can be improved.
