Server forgot to order our starter. And then did not return for 30-40 minutes while waiting for mains. Seemed as though she forgot to enter our entire order as tables that sat after us and ordered well after received there meals before us. When the food finally arrived it was good, but the server never said anything about forgetting our starter or the food taking a long time.

Love Nona’s lasagna but tried the chicken carbonara for my second visit. It was loaded with mushroom and chicken and the sauce was delicious. Bread was very fresh we’ll be back soon. Great menu! Very busy but worth the wait.

After 20 years of enjoying the Truro location, birthdays, anniversaries, New Year's meals, family gatherings, all I can say is don't miss out on being in a position to be seated and enjoy the smiles, great service, and of course constantly tasty menu selections!

Food service was slow- probably due to large, noisy group that was there at the same time. Food was good but our poutines were cold. Waiter was very attentive and friendly. Dill Caesars were really good.

We are long time regular customers. Frank and Gino’s has deteriorated over the years. The few vegetarian options they had (vegetable panini, pasta dish) are gone on the new smaller menu. Service at dinner is slow. Our last two dinner experiences were disappointing. We’ll continue to go for the lunch menu but are probably finished going there for dinner. End of an era.

We have visited this restaurant many times and the food has been good. Last night was an exception. The pasta was served almost cold and the flat bread pizza was just not good. This was my wife's birthday so this was very disappointing. I ordered the spagetti and meatballs and the meatballs were cold. The pasta luke warm. A disappointing experience. Not sure if we will return.

Had a great dinner. However, I did book for a birthday and noted that when booking through the app, but not once did anyone even ask about it while we were there. Little disappointing when we were trying to surprise them.

It started horribly. While telling the waitress our orders she literally looked at her watch twice. Sorry for taking up your time. Our appetizer came about 5 minutes before our main. My steak was cold but overcooked. Supposed to be medium rare it was at least medium well. Big difference. The steak was sooooo tough and fatty with absolutely NO SEASONING ON IT. It said right in the menu that the steak is cooked with a special blend of spices. Not true obviously. My daughters “pulled pork” looked like a bun with pasta sauce on it. Very strange and not even remotely tasty. My wife’s meal wasn’t bad but it was so spicy she couldn’t eat it. There was nothing in the menu indicating the dish was supposed to be spicy and the waitress did not mention it being spicy. Terrible terrible meal. $117 with no drinks. Terrible. I tipped the waitress $23 and she barely responded. I wasn’t looking for an applause or anything but almost no response from her was a joke. Terrible food and terrible service. It was my wife and mine’s 13 anniversary and the meal was the worst part of our day by far. Frank and Gino’s used to be a great place to eat. I’ll never spend my money there again.

We went for daughters bday. They didn't even have cheesecake. Pizza was 0n a wrap.($17.00) we could make that at home! You could see tears in the plastic covered ceiling with insulation peaking out. We had 4 orders of fettuccine chicken Alfredo and one came with spaghetti noodles. It ruined our daughter's 18th bday celebration and I will tell everyone what a horrible e penitence it was! We will not be back again.

We had an amazing night. Server Taylor was friendly and attentive. Lots of choices on the menu but my husband and I always go with our favourites which is pizza and spaghetti. We even had dessert on our date night and it didn't disappoint, can't beat peanut butter and chocolate in a cheesecake. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. I always leave there looking forward to my next trip back.

We were seated within 30 seconds, our drink order was taken right away, our appetizer order was taken and delivered before our main was even decided, the main was piping hot and delicious! The warm, friendly attitude and the "just enough" attention from the server was well above our expectations. Definitely will be dining here again soon!

This was the perfect place to meet with family midway between our homes and save us all four hours on the road. The food was delicious, staff was very personable and attentive despite being busy and we weren’t rushed at all.

Server was excellent, prompt but too quick to take empties off table. Daughter had wine left in her glass and waitress scooped it off the table! Maple Chicken was SUPER salty. You should leave salt and pepper preference to customer. Veggies (carrots and broccoli) were hot but raw. Very disappointed with food this time. Will turn, though as this was the only time we had been disappointed.
