    We arrived early hoping to get our reservation moved up, the hostess said about 30 min and we would be seated, great. After about 40 went to ask the status, now a different person said it would be another 30 min, which would bring us up tp the original reservation time. When questioned the person got a little short with us. Very soon another hostess came and got us sat. There seems to be some communications issues within the hostess system. Food & table service was very good.

    We have been coming here for decades. Christmas has not begun until we've spent an afternoon at Bronner's then have dinner at the Bavarian Inn Restaurant. If you love chicken, they have been serving up fantastic fried chicken for well over 50yrs. Yes, there may seem to be some German kitsch, but that is what makes this place the family favorite that it has been since the 1950s. This is the place to start a family tradition.

    Love this Restaurant, but they had massive problems with OpenTable when we were there. The app kept telling them that tables were open (when they weren't) and since there is almost no cell phone service in the building, people missed out on their table notifications, leading to a massive log jam.

    Our group was seated promptly at 2:30, the time of our reservation. Our server, Brennan, was awesome and, of course the food was great. It was a festive venue for our family Christmas gathering. Would suggest arriving early as parking wasn't easy at this time. Parking seemed like it might have been easier if arriving later in the day/evening. Our whole group loved the Bavarian Inn.

    Reservation was for 11:15, they put us in a room that didn't open until 12:00!!! The room was supposed to open at 11:45, but it was not opened until 12.

    Our family goes on a yearly pilgrimage to our beloved Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn. We usually come within two weeks of Thanksgiving. Every year, there seems to be a decline. It feels as if the heart has gone out of the kitchen. Our family normally orders a chicken dinner but opted for other selections because the last couple years the chicken has been severely dried out. The best thing at the table in our party of ten was a salad. I ordered chicken tenders because tenders are normally a safe option. I don’t know what seasoning they put on them but it was the equivalent of an everything bagel. It was inedible. The service, in spite of of of this, was incredible. Kristin was kind, professional and quick. She is amazing. We didn’t tell her about the bad food. Did not ask for any exclusions on the bill, we just paid and carried on. I only wish they would go back to the quality they served a decade ago

    Server that served us was also serving a large table of 18-20people as well. We were waiting for our meals & refills once she was done serving that larger table all by herself. Food tasted great, but we felt quality somewhat just ok for the $35.99 price we paid. Lots of fillers (eg, bread, bread stuffing, 3 kinds of salad). Next time we go we will consider choosing only 2 meats (schnitzel, chicken & ham very tasty, roast beef very thin & bit chewy, sausage tasty but only 2 small links served for 2 people). Ice cream at meal end was soft serve "ICE" milk. Actual DAIRY ice cream would have been nice....OR even a slice of apple strudel, for the prices charged. Overall a good experience though!

    We love the Bavarian Inn! We had a very nice time. Our Waitress was excellent, very attentive & friendly. The chicken was delicious, as always. The holiday decor was very pretty & the dining room is beautifully decorated & cozy. Of course, we always visit and enjoy the bakery & gift shops downstairs when we're here! We are planning to make this our annual destination for future holiday dinners.

    We were celebrating my girlfriends birthday and the delicious food and outstanding service from the waitress named Marcy(I believe that was her name) made it an exceptionally perfect night and one we won’t forget.

    The servuce was a bit slow and chicken was somehow undercooked. But overall we enjoyed our food . The server was excellent. Quality of food otherwise was very good. Ambiance was superb. We strongly recommend . We will definitely comeback. May be on not so busy weekend.

    We go to Bavaria Inn every year. The food, the server, and the experience after we were seated was incredible. My only complaint is, we put in a reservation every year, and I understand the day we go is the busiest day of the year for them. But this is the second year we have had a problem. We checked in before our reservation time and we waited to get the text saying it’s our turn to be seated. An hour after our reservation we still hadn’t gotten our notice. So we asked the lady that checked us in and she said we had to go around to another seating area. So we followed her instructions, and the check in at the new seating area said she didn’t have anything for us. This was the second year this has happened to us. It was frustrating, but after we were finally seated it was all 5 star level service and food.

    We got the family style meal with chicken and turkey. None of the food was good. The bread was regular slices you get from the store but more like the "no brand" kind. EVERYTHING lacked flavor. The turkey was like something you get from the frozen dinner isle at the grocery store but with less flavor. Very processed. The stuffing was soggy. Not sure why the stuffing was so wet. Chicken was crispy but bland. It was like a dinner you would get during a stay at the hospital. No one working at the restaurant was smiling. Not one person. I am aware it was Thanksgiving but not one employee was smiling. I cannot for the life of me understand why people rave about the food here. I will say the dessert was good. It was like a creamsicle sundae. That's about the only thing we enjoyed. The entire table had the same consensus. Definitely will not be going back and embarrassed I recommend this place to meet with family.
