    We experienced Fratelli on our last visit to Ottawa two years ago. At the time, we sat further back in a quieter setting. This time, we sat near the front for lunch. It was very noisy making conversation difficult. The food remains very good

    It was a birthday celebration for out of town guests and everyone loved their meal. The service was really good with a special touch at the end for the birthday guest.

    Service was excellent!! Loved the mushroom bruschetta but found the salad dressing so very acidic! Wish you had the beet salad instead.

    Service was great, server was very personable and pleasant. Food this time around was mediocre. Chicken parm had way too much cheese (don’t get me wrong I LOVE cheese) and I could barely get any chicken flavour. The calamari wasn’t crispy enough and it would have been nice to also have just a tomato dipping sauce along with the aioli.

    This really is my favourite restaurant. Simple delicious food, incredibly friendly and helpful staff, cosy atmosphere. And the Monday night wine special is both wonderful and absolute genius because they are always busy on Monday nights.

    Right after we were seated, we were advised we would have to leave in one hour and 45 minutes due to a second reservation coming in to our table. We were reminded about this deadline two more times during our dinner. Unfortunately, this time limit made our evening less enjoyable and took away from the otherwise excellent service and delicious food. I would never dine here again.

    Everything was perfect! Except the table that was assigned to us. I requested a specific place to be assigned to us and even called back to ensure we would be in the back of the restaurant! We were seated at the front right in the middle behind the reception desk. Not what I was expecting!

    Server was friendly, food was tasty but not blow you away amazing. Over an hour from in the door to receiving pizzas, when we commented one pizza was cold that’s when we were informed there was some problem and the pizza was remade (I think one of the pizzas sat while the other remade) not a great experience. Not a “I’m never going back” disappointment but when we do go back to try again they have one strike against them

    We had an outstanding server. She was attentive but not intrusive and she was just plain nice. She had a suggestion for me as a non drinker . She really was one of the best and I go out a lot. The food was average and it was loud but okay. It would be so nice if the sound could be dampened just a bit.

    Everything was great, food, service, atmosphere. It was a little noisy but I am sure our table contributed to that. My only suggestion is to offer more vegan options such as wines and pasta dishes and symbols on the menu where the selection can be made vegan and/or gluten free.

    Recently made reservations for lunch with a girlfriend. Perfect table by the front window. Really nice, attentive server. Food was quick and delicious. Great portions and good value. Would definitely go back again.

    Was surprised to see these prices have not gone up that much with inflation ... very good food at great value. The charcuterie for 2 ($30) is what you'd find elsewhere for twice that. Friendly, attentive service and inviting atmosphere. Would recommend for sure.

    Had a great dinner at Fratelli! The vibes were so nice and perfect for a date night. The zucchini appetizer was INCREDIBLE as well as the Nutella cake for dessert. Definitely save room for all three courses.

    Fratelli is a favourite of ours. We greatly appreciate their support for the Farm Radio International Bonspiel! Last evening the food was very slow in coming. 45 minutes for starters and over an hour for mains. The servers were excellent and courteous. They offered free drinks while we waited but I had to drive. I’ll go again and hope for a quieter table and quicker food service.
