Fresh on Crawford

Fresh did a wonderful job implementing covid restrictions. I felt safe and warm!

Service was just ok. Could have been better. We asked if we can be seated near the sun since we were the first one there. It was explained to us that it was not possible as there needs to be two or more for the table “closer to the sun”...however they seated and accommodated a couple where we had asked. Service from there and on was meh, kind of set the mood for us.Food is good, no doubt, but I would rather take our money else where for better and more fair service.

Always the best for quick, delicious vegan in the city! Fresh never disappoints. Also, roomiest, warmest patio set up at the Queen St location! This will be a go-to right through the winter ❄️

It was great to sit outside on a cool day. The heaters were terrific. My friend and I enjoyed our meal, the server was attentive and friendly.

We have been meaning to check out this restaurant for a few months and we are so happy we finally made it! Great environment, they were very attentive and had great GF options. Pro tip: warn your boyfriend it is a vegan restaurant a few times before you go, lol! We both enjoyed our meals and can't wait to go back!

Been a Fresh customer for almost a decade, love their menu options but have noticed serving sizes go down significantly over time, unfortunately.

This is a go-to spot for casual dining with lots of vegan options to choose from. This location has done a great job working with the patio only restrictions.

Fresh, as always, is very good. They changed the recipe for the Buddha, so it's not as flavourful, but it is still okay. The server listened to what I said, and said that she would tell the chef. Normally, it would be a five-star rating. Great restaurant, with terrific service and food.

Fabulous patio, great social distancing, we were seated promptly, all staff were friendly and efficient and of course the food was fantastic (especially the onion rings!). We highly recommend it!!

I am a regular fresh customer but have only ever ordered take out. I would not recommend visiting the heated patio - we were placed right beside the window and it was absolutely freezing with the wind (couldn’t feel the heaters at all as they really only heat the central tables). We all had jackets on. Our waitress wasn’t friendly and our food was cold as soon as it came out, which made us feel like it wasn’t worth the money.

First time to this restaurant! Service was excellent. We sat on patio and it was a little chilly but bearable. The food was awesome... squash tacos!! ... sssoooo good

The patio was cold unfortunately. We were in two and decides to change table closer to the wall and away from the wind but we ended up being right behind another couple now even a meter away. More heaters would help.

Nice heated patio. Ingredients are always "fresh" and service is great as well!

Food was great, sever was inhospitable.

We have ate here before and the food was ok but the other night we ordered the same as usual but the ingredients were not at all the same the soba noodles we skinny and mushy the nacho chips and cabbage we’re stale.

I have been eating at Fresh for the last 10 years and unfortunately it has really gone down the last few years since its been completely vegan. I miss the goat cheese in the beach bowl and my other favourite items seem to all be gone.

I got the small budha bowl and it was super dry so I had to ask for more peanut sauce and then the portion is the same size as the bowl so it was impossible to toss.

My friends salad also had little to no dressing on it and she was so excited for corn bread and was offered no other spread when they were out of hummus.

All of this to say that I know prices have gone up and I have no issue paying for good food but its starting to not feel worth it.

They were very diligent with COVID rules.

Love going to Fresh but this was the first time that I have been there since COVID happened. I was very impressed with the restaurant and how well they were dealing with the social distancing and accommodating patrons. We were on the patio which is always my favourite spot there, and I was getting a little warm since the sun was out, and the waiter was very happy to move us to another table to make us more comfortable. They have signs on all tables that have been sanitized so that was good to see.
Always impressed with this location! Staff are lovely there!

I really enjoy the amazing food at fresh.
The newly spaced table layout was much nicer for our comfort compared to preCovid spacing.

The great service at this place is awesome. I usually eat here once a week and consistently encounter friendly awesome staff. Food is good - little noisy on the patio, but grateful there even is a patio in these COVID times.

A woman, that can only be described as a ‘food runner’ gave me pure attitude when I asked her to clear my napkin. She looked me up and down and said ‘uh, nooo.’ Cora our server was good. Answered our questions and recommended some menu items. Are gruner wine was tasteless, our choice.

I’ve been to fresh many times. Won’t be back at Crawford.

Some of the worst front desk service I have ever experienced. Arrived at the restaurant around 8:00 and asked for a table of two I was told to wait 10 min for a table to be available. I was told I would get a text when the table was free. I waited outside and could see three free tables. I went back inside after 20 minutes and asked why I never got a text I was told that no tables free yet three still sat empty. I made an online reservation for 9:00 because he would not sit me now unless I had a reservation. I then showed him my reservation and asked if I could be seated since now two tables where still free. He made me wait 30 min before he seated me at 9 while the tables say empathy they entire time. I seriously don’t understand this customer service. Then our food arrived cold after 40 min waiting for it to get to our table.

Quick service, and the food was really good. My 9 year old niece niece who's the pickiest in the world loved the rainbow smoothie.

Patio is really cute! Food was delicious - especially the dumplings dish!

We were seated on the patio and my husband was cold. We requested to move more inside the patio out of the breeze. They would not do it because there were reservations....however, the same amount of seating was available. The server would only have had to wipe down where we sat. Would you want to be uncomfortably cold at a restaurant that you are paying good money to patronize? I think not. We are regular customers at this Fresh location. I’m disappointed that a very reasonable request couldn’t be granted. It wasn’t putting anyone in covid danger or taking away from anyone else’s experience. When we finished our food and left, the table near us with four seats was still empty...it was just ludicrous

kitchen messed up our orders but they were nice enough to discount it off the bill. overall a good experience
