A couple of people ordered the cauliflower tacos and indicated that seasoning on the cauliflower would make it taste better but overall good. We were slow to order but service after that could have been a little faster. Service staff was pleasant. Others were satisfied with their meals.

We have visited this Fresh location many times before. We love the food and the ambiance, however on this day, the service was very slow. Our thoughts were that they must have been understaffed, but we shouldn’t have had to wait 45 minutes for just our drinks before our meal. Overall though, it was a good experience, and we would return.

First time there, service was great, I took the recommendation of the staff for our appetizer and main course. The onion rings were spectacular and the goddess bowl with the noddles was solid as well. I opted for their hot sauce and it was the right heat for my tastes, not too hot, but very flavourful. Overall a very positive experience and great plant based option.

Food was ok but service was extremely, extremely slow. It took the waiter almost 30 minutes just to come back to to our table and take our order and by the time the food came, we had only 10 minutes to actually eat and settle the bill.

I am not vegan but needed a place to take a visiting relative who is vegan. Altogether we loved Fresh. The service was great. Our waiter was efficient, was helpful with the non-vegans at the table, gave us time to decide what we wanted and was altogether a nice person. There were 5 at the table, including a 13 year old. We all enjoyed the experience. Our visitor loved the place and the food. I can see us visiting the restaurant again.

Love Fresh on Front! We were a party of four and all enjoyed our meals immensely. The service was great - friendly, courteous, responsive. No complaints whatsoever - other than the noise that steadily increased as the restaurant became busier.

Fresh was once a Toronto institution. One of the first and most beloved vegetarian restaurants in the city. It has gone way downhill. Swiss Chalet’s parent company bought it. The prices have jumped. The food quality collapsed. And even small things— like they used to serve a heaping portion of fries with meals. Now they serve you a stingy cup of fries, sitting on a near empty plate. To contain costs. The friendly and magical veggie restaurant of Toronto has turned into an evil chain. It used to be packed. The dining hall was empty on a Friday night. Customers have noticed how Ruth’s vision has been destroyed by corporate greed.

We enjoyed our meal here and it's a great-looking restaurant. Service was also quite good. Because the restaurant is big, it was hard to get the server's attention, when we asked other servers for something, they said they would get it but nothing happened. Also, we were sharing so it would have been nice to get serving spoons and larger plates to eat from. Some of the dishes were better than the others but overall it was a good experience

I have been a fan on Fresh for years. I especially love the Front Street location. However on my last four visits, the food has been over cooked, cold, and just not up to the usual standard. I’m afraid I’ve lost my taste for Fresh.

We ate early because I had a thing. Which was a good choice because just as we were preparing to leave the table next to us was seated and one of their party was such a loud talker she set off the Loud Environment alert on my Apple watch. Prior to that, the environment was a little loud but I could at least hear my partner over the background hub-bub. Our server was super friendly and super helpful. Top marks for that. The food was pretty good too, and not too expensive, and the decor is comfortable and nice without being too obtrusive. Overall it was a good experience and one we're likely to repeat.

So many delicious menu options. This was my second visit and I can’t wait for the third so I can try something new. The Cali Burger was amazing and I chose Dragon fries to go with it - fantastic! My friend had the cauliflower tacos and loved them. Hot sauce was perfect. You’re my #1 restaurant in TO! 😁

My granddaughter is vegan and she really enjoyed her meal. I am not even vegetarian so a little challenging for me experiencing new tastes however as far as the, what I call call faux foods like cheese etc. go, they did well. I only gave the service three stars because we waited forver for our bill.

My order was disappointing as it had meagre items ( few avocados pieces and one tiny eggless cold omelette) with plentiful of toasted bread, salad with hardly any dressing. Complained but no outcome. I expected at least they would replace the dish or compensate it by offering a discount or a dessert. I have had much better experience with other restaurants and would recommend this one.

As expected from Fresh, the food is always healthy but doesn’t not sacrifice the deliciousness. While having delicious food, it also makes you feel good mentally too because you are doing something great to your body. Also the atmosphere is spacious with the blend with brick walls and modern interior. And the choices in the menu is massive too!

It was much better before the pandemic... My onion rings and buffalo cauliflower were really oily. For my entree, the balance bowl and was bland with a bitter peanut sauce and my energy elixir juice tasted like it was made from week-old fruit and veggies. It's too bad, I really wanted to like it.
