It was much better before the pandemic... My onion rings and buffalo cauliflower were really oily. For my entree, the balance bowl and was bland with a bitter peanut sauce and my energy elixir juice tasted like it was made from week-old fruit and veggies. It's too bad, I really wanted to like it.

This is my new favourite spot to eat, offers a unique menu that ranges from salads/bowls to wraps, and even burgers. You leave full and happy, but not tired or groggy. Will be coming here for years to come.

The food at this fresh tends to be the best of all the locations in the city. Usually the service is good but on this day it was incredibly slow and impossible to flag down the server.

Family date night; dinner and a show. This was a perfect location and the food is ALWAYS delicious. There was a little mishap and spillage. It was cleaned up quickly and they took off 15% from each persons bill. Not asked for but they did it anyway which was very generous and appreciated. We really felt bad for the individual that spilled because there was nothing he could have done to prevent it and he was so apologetic. Great guy and they really made everything right.

Nice interiors and quiet place, just a few steps from theatres and sport arena. Good selection of plant base food. We enjoyed daily soup, beyond meat burger, favourite bowl with Tory steaks, home made hummus. Prices are on high side.

Every time I come to Toronto, I go to Fresh. The food is amazing! Usually, the service matches the food. However, not this time. Our server was lovely. Another staff person came to our table and knocked over our water glasses three times. Maybe it was an off day for them and I can be empathetic. But not after three times. Water was all over my pants and shoes. The staff was also not very apologetic. Would I come again, absolutely. The food is fantastic and normally the service is too.

So many delicious vegetarian options. I'm keto so keep away from carbs. No problem, they added extra greens to my salad. Unexandmuch appreciated. Briana, our server was fantastic.

Service was extremely slow even with several wait staff on hand and only a few occupied tables. I've been going to Fresh since they were on Bloor West and I've found the quality of the food has dropped dramatically. The sauces for the bowls were bland and I was disappointed that the cornbread is no longer available. A fairly disappointing and expensive dinner.

Fresh on Front never disappoints, and I love that they keep my favourites on the menu tasting consistently scrumptious as the first time I dined…some of my favourites as suggestions for a winning meal at this spot: *Crispy Dumplings *Cobb Salad with Bold Lemon dressing *Tacos (both the cauliflower and squash options are lovely) *Botanical G&T cocktail *Liquid Gold Latte in my opinion is the best way to end off the meal when you’re too full to fit dessert but feel for something warm with just the right hint of sweet! As a non-vegan who enjoys carefully crafted, thoughtful and inspired plant based options; this restaurant is a MUST try for all!!

Fresh is one of our favourite restaurants, excellent value and at other locations we have had great experiences. However, last night at the Fresh on Front, the servers were more interested in checking their phones and talking to one another than attend to their guests. We felt ignored, which is so unlike our experiences at the Danforth location where it feels like the team cares about their guests. And our food (soup) was cold on arrival.

Overall I was disappointed! I have previously eaten at Fresh on Spadina on a couple of occasions and enjoyed the food, however last night I ordered the Beyond Meat Cheese Burger and was hardly able to eat half. The taste was off and my friends agreed. We also ordered the buffalo cauliflower and and the onion rings to share (these are a regular of mine) and while they were acceptable, they were not their usual standard. Service is very friendly but slow - it takes a long time for the servers to return to the table which is frustrating especially when you are on a tight timeline

I have been to Fresh many times but never to this location. The service was extremely slow and our food came out so late (1 hour) that we had to take it to go so we wouldn’t miss the performance that we were going to. They were really nice and didn’t charge us for anything but it would have been great to have an explanation early on that they were backed up or short staffed so that we could have gone somewhere else. The food tasted good but by the time we ate it, it was cold. This won’t deter me from going back. I just want better communication next time.

The food was all delicious vegan fare, but the service was very slow. It was very busy, but they did not have enough servers. We felt kinda abandoned. Still totally worth going! Just let them know if you have a time-crunch!

Gorgeous venue, extensive menu and delicious. Beverages are a bit over-priced. Also agreed with server and confirmed repeatedly to put all beverages on my bill ahead of time but when the bill was rung up this was not done, was a bit disappointed by that.

Went to my favourite restaurant for New Year’s Eve - was excited and was riding the train there from up North. Made reservations for 8:15pm a few days beforehand. Then got a ca an hour before reservation to say they were closing at 9pm. Hadn’t seen this anywhere whilst making reservations days before. Since I was taking a one hour train that ran once an hour, I wasn’t able to arrive much earlier. However I did manage to arrive at 8pm. But we waited 15 min before getting any kind of service (and the place wasn’t very busy). Once we ordered our drinks it took another 15min for them to arrive and for a good order to be taken. Our food arrived around 8:50 and the rice in my bowl was cold and hard. Since the kitchen closed at 9pm there wasn’t much they could do about it. Still cost me $20 for the bowl. We got asked to leave soon after. Would have loved this to be a yearly tradition but not sure it will be a repeat.

The restaurant is very clean, the food is delicious—three of us enjoyed three different meals and had one to go and they were all delicious! Thomas looked after us, he was really cheerful and friendly, helpful and efficient! All of the staff was great, very welcoming and friendly. Overall it was a great experience, we will go back for sure!
