The only thing that was “different” for me, was when they asked if I wanted white rice and it would be a up-charge for fried rice… all of the hibachi I have ate else where never has a up-charge for fried rice. Overall everything else was amazing.

I love this restaurant. It was our son’s 12th birthday and he loved it. 🥰🥰🥰 We had a new waiter so we showed grace because he forgot our orders or requests a couple of times but overall we enjoyed ourselves.

We experienced a very poor first visit to Fuji Steak House. First, they failed to cook part of our order, and then refused to make it on the hibachi once we asked about it. They also forgot to bring out the steamed rice that was included with our meal, which was important for our son's dietary needs. They paid little attention to refilling beverages. When I spoke with the manager to provide feedback and coaching, he proceeded to blame the chef and then berate the server in front of us, so we defended her as no one deserves to be treated that way. If you respect yourself or others, don't go here! There are much better places with higher quality, greater value, and demonstrated appreciation for their staff that have a similar teppanyaki theme.

The people there are nice, but the food wasn’t as tasty as what we are used to from other teppanyaki restaurants. Also, the soup that comes as an appetizer with the meals has a beef broth and there is no substitution offered for vegetarians/pescatarians.

Paid too much for such a small portion of food after cooking it. Made a reservation for two at 8 pm. They made sure they get more customer to sit with us. Very rude of them. Didn’t eat after 40 mins later Waste of my money. Will not go back.

But communal seating is pretty standard at hibachi restaurants, including ours. On our busiest days, like Saturdays, it's guaranteed – it's all part of the hibachi fun, where people come together to enjoy good food and great company. Now, regarding the portion size. Our Teppan-Yaki dinners are meant for one person each. So, when three of you shared four dinners, it's understandable that portions might have felt a bit tight. We apologize for any confusion and appreciate your understanding. We appreciate your feedback and hope you'll give us another shot.

Best meal we have had here. Chef and service was excellent, and their ability to accommodate a shrimp allergy was above kind. We had a variety of items and they were all quite good other than the fried soft-shell crab appetizer which was overwhelmed by the crunch limiting the luscious crab. Only drawback is that the noise is too high to allow more than two people to converse. Great for dates!

During dinner, lack of communication on our request for gluten free through out dinner. Soup and Water were spilled on us and our mobile phone. Oil splattered on us while food was being cooked. Water refills maybe happed 2 times. Paying and leaving tip well over $300 was not worth it, and will not do again. The place was not busy during our dinner, the lack of attention to service was not due to being busy.

The only reason for the 4 stars was that our chef was very entertaining and engaging with us, including younger kids at our table. The quality of food was decent but not memorable. Most of the proteins were overcooked, especially the seafood and chicken, a bit under seasoned and their sides leave a lot to be desired. Cocktails were nothing special and not recommended. Sushi selection was decent and tasty though. The location is easy to access (Redmond Town Center) and parking was plentiful. Overall, a decent place to visit but nothing to write home about.

Entertaining, fun, tasty and different. We had a party of four celebrating father's day and sharing the table with another party of four. They took care of our vegetarian daughter by grilling her veggies first before grilling the meat on the same grill. Great service!

This was the first time we visited this restaurant for my birthday. My husband and our 3 sons wanted to experience Tepanyaki again since Benihana had left Downtown Seattle-so we were hopeful. This experience was amazing. The chef was funny and entertaining, my sons loved the atmosphere and friendly staff AND the food was amazing. The deliciousness had our family raving until we crossed I-90 and planning on our next trip to Redmond. Thank you so much-What a great birthday celebration. ❤️❤️

Overall experience was excellent for birthday dinner. Something the restaurant can improve on: 1. Order of food: it might be better to have fried rice at the end rather than at the start 2. Seasoning is a little bit over 3. Fried rice is better served with a bowl than on the dish

Food was good - not fantastic - and the service was friendly but the overall experience felt like the meal was being monitored with a stop watch and rushed. The restaurant has a good layout, is clean, and the potential is there. Will likely give it a 2nd chance. As a side note, we had a standard sushi roll in addition to the steak / salmon meal at the table and the sushi was quite good.

Food was really good, but the cook instead of being entertaining, he was roasting the table and honestly inappropriate at times. Food is always a good, especially since they cooked a gluten free meal in the back, but definitely cautious next time about the crowd you bring! Prepare for good food, but maybe hurt feelings as well!!

Standard teppanyaki food and experience. The restaurant itself is very nice, in Redmond town center. Service was good, staff were nice. The chef was not as entertaining as other places we have been to, but it's kind of luck of the draw as it looked like other ones there had more personality. It seemed like every table there was having a birthday, as were we! The food is quite expensive since you are paying for the entertainment element as well, and is fine but is as generic as any other restaurant of this type.

Fun presentation, food pretty good but some issues with pacing. Served proteins before vegetables were cooked so had to either eat in stages, or wait and eat cold meat & seafood. Asked for steak medium rare, got medium. Lobster and prawns were wildly overcooked and tough. Restaurant was very noisy, hard to hear our chef and harder to hear server. We have eaten at teppanyaki places elsewhere including NCL cruise ships and it IS possible to serve a meal with all components at once and all hot.

I cook a lot, and am good, and my first dinner was really impressive. Our cook was a showman like Tom Cruise in Cocktail combined with crazy Gordon Ramsey cooking chops. I mean the guy was crazy good, managing to control fire and seasonings while balancing the orders of 8 different people. He put on a show, and a tasty one at that! Five stars across the board! Last night however different cook, different experience. He dropped his tools, which weren't sharp, so sometimes instead of cutting the food flew off all different directions. Time and time again I caught myself thinking, "you better turn that!" Only he didn't, and so stuff got burned. All the chicken was way overdone like this, ruined. Wasn't good with seasoning and sauces either, tasted like cafeteria food. So if you go, cross your fingers you get a good one. Oh, and bring some ear plugs, it was so loud I pulled out my phone and measured 85-90dB- that's like lawnmower loud!

Service is always good, it's a fun and entertaining evening. For those of us with hearing difficulty, the volume of noise limits our ability to participate in all of the conversations. in spite of that I'm guessing we will go again.

We were celebrating Valentine’s Day a day late, which was great because it was less crowded. The servers and staff were excellent and the food was delicious. It’s a bit noisy but that’s what you expect in a tepanyaki restaurant, no complaints!

The Chef was pretty low energy and the food was not great. Also our waitress was indifferent and was condescending when asked a question about how to order.
