   From the moment we arrived, Juan went above and beyond in taking care of us. He anticipated our needs and guided us in selecting our orders. When his shift was over, Melody took over and provided us equally good service. Gala does a good job in hiring good people. We all ordered different things and everyone was very happy with their selection.

   I had dined at Gala on two other occasions (~12 months ago) and both were most enjoyable. However, this most recent visit was extremely disappointing. There were at least four menu items that were not available because the restaurant is 'transitioning' to a new menu - a pretty weak excuse to me and my dinner guest, The food that we did order was sub par. Definitely not a restaurant that has earned another visit.

   As always, the food was excellent. Our waiter was very pleasant and attentive. Lovely atmosphere both indoors and outside. It’s one of our favorite (for us neighborhood) go to places.

    Gala Restaurant is inside Theo Hilton Hotel in Aventura, FL We went there to have our dinner and celebrate Thanksgiving. They have a special menu for the occasion. The food was excellent, good service. They also offer Sunday brunch and I would like to return for it.

    Not sure what was going on that day, but we had reservations for sunday brunch, were seated and then waited for 20 minutes without service until I finally had to get up and ask for someone to come over to the table. Then another very very long wait for food and service. Overall a very unsatisfying visit. Food was good and the place is nice, so If they can get the personnel issues straightened out, I'd consider giving the place another shot. What was most disappointing was that a manager didn't even come over to us to apologize or at least to explain...that is simply not acceptable.

    Was not worth $65 per person. We did the buffet but eggs were on an order basis & I never received mine. Had to tell waitress to pick up used/ dirty plates. Asked for a candle so we could sing my husband happy birthday but waitress could not find matches or a lighter. Really!? I had my son go to the BBQ guy to light the candle. Definitely wont return.

    I look forward to every reservation because I have fallen in love with this elegant, stylish, and classy place. The Gala is my first choice for dinner parties and events. The Gala & Muse Bar is just undeniably one of my Fav. places to eat good food and just laid back and relax. My clients and I feel at home and are left in awe of the service we receive. Thank you!! Ms. Taylor was my first dinner party waiter and also assisted in my recent Oct. dinner party of 20-25pp. She waited on 15pp with Mr. Siva as well was our server~host and effortlessly served us as if we were fam. Many thanks to Mr. Rafael, continually asking and coming to our table to see if anything was needed. Everything we asked and desired was given with a smile and professional service. I’m so delighted to have found such a gem so close to home with effervescently prepared dishes, excellent service, and a Sassy Classy live music atmosphere. I thank all of you for your service in making my all my dinner events a success !!

    The food was fine once we were served. I think the servers were just overwhelmed and the prices were too high for the drinks and food, The staff members were all lovely but I don’t go to a restaurant to make friends.

    Loved the bar menu better than the dining menu. So we sat in the outside seating of the dining room and ordered from the bar menu. Perfect.

    Appetizer I had ceviche, beautifully presented, taste was ok but manny Zafron threads all over uncooked such made me wheeze. For second plate I had the steak, I ordered it medium. I got three small pieces of uncooked flank steak with bitter tomatoes on top, I couldn’t cut it it had tendons. I was sick the entire night. Would love to come back if they had a different chef.

    loved everything, food (octopus and fish) was delicious, ambience, our waitress was beyond polite, the hotel has valet parking that can be validated at the restaurant, love the vibe!

    What a find! Our event team was running a massive event at the Diplomat Beach resort and needed a quiet spot to enjoy dinner away from our attendees. I found Gala on Open Table. The menu looked great and it wasn't too far away - perfect. We were seated outside next to the (very small) pool. When we first arrived, there were a few kids in the pool and the noise level was a bit distracting. They were not there long, however, and we had the entire area to ourselves when they left. We shared the calamari with shishito peppers, baby back ribs, and a charcuterie. Although these seem like run-of-the-mill appetizers, all were unique and fun. The baby back ribs came with pickled peaches, for instance, and the calamari and peppers had an accompanying sauce that was anything but ordinary. We all loved our entrees. My husband and I split a duck confit that came, again, with an amazing sauce and pureed squash. Had I been at home and not with business partners, I would have picked up the plate and licked it clean. The service was very attentive and amenable. All in all, if we're in the area again - we will put this on our 'must dine' spot.

    Singer in bar area across the hall was loud for quiet dining. Roast chicken juicy, charcuterie board and empanadas good starter. All portions small . One and a half lamb chops with over abundance of weird mushrooms. It was ok.

    The chimichurri steak is nice but it needs a proper side to Go with it. The churros don’t cut it to balance the meat.
