   The food is delicious, the servers are friendly, attentive and always polite. The pork chop paired with the brussel sprouts is outstanding, the stuffed chicken is also amazing. I have only been there twice but everything was perfect both times, we will be going back. PS the bread pudding is also delicious!

   Overall a great experience. Filet was great and sides and salad were very good. The person seating the guests would walk customers half way to table then point out table to sit at. Menu's were brought after seated. That process should be improved for a restaurant that wants to be in the upscale category. They should lead customers all the way to the table and present menu's and then leave to get more guests. It's a minor thing but it is your first impression and it could have been better.

    This was the first time we were not 100% satisfied with Gallagher's on Front. Had a party of 4. The eggplant appetizer was very skimpy. 3 very small medallions. There was sauce on only 1 medallion. The crab meat was very fresh. The fried calamari was like shoe leather and not very hot. The potatoes au grautin were cubed potatoes with cheese on top. Each person had different main courses, which were excellent. Love having Gallagher's in Slidell. Hoping it was just an off night. Lots of young people (prom night) there.

    Steaks were cooked well and taste good but the sides are not very good and the crab cake is mostly breading, should be a lot more crab for the price your paying. This place is nothing like the one in Covington. It’s a shame

    Good food and decent service. However, the Covington location was much better for both. Nothing was bad here, but it's the subtle things like: Having to ask for something more than once; an entree placed in front of the wrong person without confirming first; waitress not checking in just a tad frequently enough; and, the exact same meal not being quite as tasty. Also, maybe because our table was up against a wall at the Covington location it may not have seemed as loud. But, I was really a bit uncomfortable with the noise level in Slidell. Too many tables in the room we were in, which was the only one I saw, actually. I would definitely eat there again; but, I'm not in as big of big hurry to go back as I thought we would be. I would stack the Covington location up against Ruth's Chris any day of the week! I'm sincerely sorry that I can't say the same for the Slidell location because it's so much closer to home for us.

    Whe decided to eaT here because it was relatively closer to our air bnb. We stood at the entrance with reservations for almost 15 mins before anyone acknowledged us. After we were seated our waitress Candis approached a while later. Her service was nothing extraordinary for me to write about. We ordered a few appetizers my favorir would have to be the calamari and ahi tuna stack. The tuna stack had a really good flavor. There was an deviled egg on the plate of the shrimp remoulade that was amazing! Not the shrimp but the egg. Lol. This alone should be an appetizer. The hat grilled quail was good but not if you're super hungry says one of my dinner goers. The lamb chop is REALLY good. That's coming from someone who thinks lamb tastes gamey. The strip is flavorful as well. My by far fave sides would be the sweet potato and the asaparagus. Bread pudding was spongey and had good flavor. Would have given more stars if not for customer service.

    is there a new owner now? The past three visits have been absolutely subpar compared to other Gallaghers experiences. This used to be the best place for “fine dining” in Slidell. service was slow, wife’s filet was ordered medium rare, came out well done (wasted). pompano tasted freezer burned and fishy. very disappointing cause this is one of my favorite dishes there historically. waitress did not come check on the food. ever. we had to flag down a bus boy after about 10 minutes receiving our food. he, of course was oblivious to anything concerning quality food. extremely disappointing. i hope mr pat gets this place back in order asap, if he still owns it. if he doesn’t still own it, we are done eating here.

    The food was delicious, especially the crab cakes! The restaurant itself is nice but the ambiance is nothing special and that’s just probably my taste. The tv’s and the bar kind of take away from the dining experience.

    Gallagers never disappoints! We’ve had the pleasure of dining here several times over the yrs and it’s def our fav! This visit we were seated in the back area, more private with just a few tables. My go-to order is their tuna w/scallops but this time I tried the pompano topped with crabmeat in a cream sauce. It was very light and tasty. Hubby always gets the veal chops which he loves and always come out sizzling on the plate! Their house blend red wine goes down smooth and we order a bottle no matter what meat we’re eating! Can’t skip the ooey gooey cake holy moly! Fresh cake w/ice cream and choc, caramel drizzled on top!

    Nothing special. Food was standard. Bread, butter, and spring lettuce all Walmart style food not homemade or fresh. Fish was borderline expired. Made my wife sick. Would expect freshly made bread and fresh ingredients for an average cost of 60 a person.
