Outstanding food that will leave your taste buds wanting more! The Garage Beirut is a fantastic experience end to end, you won't be disappointed!!
What an excellent cozy small home-cooked restaurant. It's classy and delicious. Very fun for a small family dinner or a small cozy get-together with friends. Sharing starter plates of spreads and dips, tasty drinks, delicious ample main course servings, and a nice smell of charcoal grill fire makes this a great choice.
Excellent food. Very tasty and fresh. Fast and friendly service.
Very good food, fresh and tasty. Nice team effort for service, smiley and friendly. It's a cosy Restaurant, not Fancy, family welcome. Since it is in a semi-basement, thé odors of thé vinagor was a bit pronounced, but you Forget it quickly, don't be stopped by thé first impression, it is worthed. Good value for your money. Thanks gang!
So nice to find this tiny, cozy place in the heart of the shopping district! We were thrilled to dig into our favorite Lebanese specialties - foul medamas, muhammara, toum, kibbeh, etc. The mixed dips & grillades plates are a great way to sample everything...all expertly made. Only (minor) complaint: the brunch specialties weren’t quite as interesting and varied as the rest of the menu.
Awesome food and very fresh too! Quaint and chill atmosphere in a busy area of downtown.
Having been to many Middle Eastern and Mediterranean restaurants, I found the food lacking. Pitas that looked identical to the ones available in the grocery store for $1, withered and deflated grape leaf wraps, and the hummus and spinach balls lacked any sort of spice. The Turkish coffee was alright as well as the muhammura. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Middle Eastern food, but it's a decent place for a night out if your wallet is tight and your at a bar in the neighbour
Le repas était super bon
2e visite et toujours aussi délicieux!
1, Don't respect reservation!!! Asked for specific table but got the worst in the place: right at kitchen (open)
with kitchen noise and traffic, PLUS in direct line of blasts of -22 wind chill each time door opened!!!!!!!
2. Went to order a dish we know to share - only to be told - after looking at menu for 15 min. - they were out of that item!!
3. Ordered a standby of moussaka which came without eggplant and only semi-cooked tomatoes and onions - YUCK!!!
After 3 previous visits, will not return!!!!!
Second visit was just as satisfying as the first. I eat very little meat but come here for the delicious grilled chicken skewers and Lebanese mezze. Shared the chicken and some mezzes with a friend, we each had a glass of wine and left full and thoroughly satisfied. Although the restaurant serves meat vegan and gluten-free diners can find plenty of options for a tasty meal.
Great food and excellent service! The owner is clearly very proud of his business and it shows in the little touches, suggestions and friendly conversation. Excelled spot!
Service chaleureux et honnête! Bouffe très savoureuse!
Food is very good. Not excellent though. Service is very friendly
Best Lebanese food I’ve had outside of the country!
Food was amazing. Service was outstanding.. If authentic lebanese cuisine is what you're looking for, this is the place.
Excellent family meal in a cozy setting. Delicious shareable plates with healthy bright delicious dishes.
Food always consistently delicious. Salad fresh, mixed grill meat tender and moist, hummus and garlic sauce the best in Montreal.
One of the hidden gems of downtown. Affordable, authentic and delicious!
What a delight to find a lebanese spot in Montreal! My father's family is from the middle east and finding this authentic spot was so heart warming. The fac that they could make kibbe nayyeh - the best tartare - was already a win. The service, especially from the two young ladies, was exceptional. I recommend the tasting dips to start, followed by the kibbe nayyeh and if you still have room for more, at least have a serving of fattouche. Top it with some minted tea. I will tell anyone I know going to Meontreal to stop by!
Good food. They don’t accept American Express.
Great service.Delicious food. The chicken was moist and flavourful The appetizers were so good you could make the whole meal around them.Pricing was fair and I would definitely go back again
Excellent restaurant serving delicious authentic Lebanese cuisine. Service was excellent. The must haves include the fattouch salade and any grilled meats.
This was our second trip to Beirut Garage and it was just as fantastic as the first! Everything we tried was tasty, quick to be served and the flavors are just so unique! We love this place and will try to come every time we visit Montreal!!
Best of Lebanese cuisine. Kibble Nyah is the best,!
Delicious as always, my favorite spot in Montreal. Authentic Lebanese cuisine with a casual ambiance. Love it!
Delicious, fresh ingredients and friendly service. highly recommend
The evening was a disaster. Service, non existent. The poor stressed out waitress gave up and left the restaurant. Total chaos ensued.
30 min after our order was taken, the pitcher of Arak for two arrived with exactly 6 partially melted ice cube in a small bowl.
The mezze course arrived more than half an hour after the Arak. Frankly, you can buy better at Adonis.
The owner eventually arrived from home too late to make a difference. He did tried his best to put on a brave face.
Oh, and our main course was never sent to the kitchen.
What else can I say?
Had a reservation, we were seated relatively timely. Then given lunch menus because not enough dinner menus. Sat for 10 minutes before water was dropped off to us. That was the last interaction with staff before we left to go find a restaurant with actual service. Extremely disappointed.
Super food expérience! Is like to be in beirut! The kefta brochette is so good !
Excellent libanais. Service et lieu décontracté. Bruyant quand plu sieurs personnes.
Garage Beirut was a highlight from our Montreal visit. Excellent food, location and atmosphere. We will return!
The food is tasty but the portions are small for the price. The main courses do not come with salad or starch, so you have to order rice or potatoes separately. The garlic potatoes and shish taouk are very yummy. Kebabs were rather bland by comparison, and tabouli salad was too sour.
