Our second time dining at Garde Manger and it was even better than the first. Their vibe is immaculate, food is outstanding, and service is the best. Jihan made our night really special and so memorable. We can’t wait to come back during our next visit to Montreal. It is an absolute must and ask for Jihan if you want the best service in the industry.

Our server Taylor was amazing. Her recommendations were spot on. We sat at the bar in the back, which was a perfect spot for us. The banter with the guy (I didn’t get his name) who was shucking the oysters and plating the seafood platters made our night. The food was amazing and perfect portions. Thank you for such a great experience!!!

Always the best experience here when we come. The staff are a fantastic group of people. The food is amazing. Don’t miss this gem when in Old Montreal. So glad we found it many years ago. One of the best restaurants we have been to!

Amazing evening! Service was perfect! Restaurant is very cool, and the food was outstanding! They didn't have a cider on the menu, but that was the only complaint. Steaks were perfectly cooked! Chicken croquettes were crazy good!

Amazing experience. My family and I were in Montréal to celebrate my 30th Birthday. I cannot think of a better way to have spent my birthday. We did the Chef Selection and it was the best meal we’ve ever had on a trip. We came to the restaurant because I am a fan of Mr. Rozon, so to have the experience with the meal like we did was magnificent.

A memorable experience! The service is top notch, knowledgeable about wine, and friendly. We got a dozen oysters which were delicious and briny, served with cocktail sauce with freshly grated horseradish, a perfect mignonette, and some spicy homemade hot sauce. Next was the Castelfranco salad which was large enough for both of us to share. I wasn’t familiar with the type of lettuce and it was delicious… the slightly bitter salad was balanced out with an apple vinaigrette, candied pecans, and blue cheese. For mains, I got the halibut with crispy Brussel leaves, mushrooms, and butter sauce. It was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. Perfectly seasoned. Literally, it was the best halibut dish I’ve ever had. My husband got the chicken, which was also delicious, albeit very rich. Overall, it was a fabulous dinner. Would highly recommend.

Delicious food but the price seemed excessive. Everything we ate was very good but a very small pasta dish for $46 is a little disappointing. That was one of the cheaper options. The service was decent, although it took about 15 minutes to get our first round of drinks.

What an amazing experience. It’s hard to even put into words. My husband and I dined here for our anniversary. We sat at the back bar and did the chef’s tasting menu. Every single course was impeccable along with the service.

It was our first dining experience at Garde Manger and we tried the chef's menu. It was an excellent way to try various dishes. Standout dishes were the seafood platter, octopus, trofie, and lamb. Service was impeccable with great wine recommendations. Lived up to our expectations.

This was our second time at Garde Manger in Vieux Montreal - I wonder why? Because it is such an exceptional restaurant. The food - which is principally fish and seafood - is wonderfully prepared and delicious. The wines on offer are superb. This is a not to be missed restaurant in Canada’s most interesting, lively and creative city. The service was very friendly and engaging. All in all a great place.
