Qite large nicely decorated bar & restaurant that served very good food right at the airport runway area. It however was not at all noisy during the dinner hours although it may be at lunch with much more activity on the runways and with people coming and going. This is a great private airport restaurant, one of the best in Texas.

They’ve made some significant attempts at lessening the noise in the “runway” dining room since our last visit. That was our only previous complaint. Food and service were good. Drinks were good. We’ll go back!

Gate 12 Bar and Grill is a real College Station gem. Aviation and Aggieland blended together for a perfect mix. If you love aviation or simply want a unique dining experience this place is definitely out of the ordinary. So fun to watch planes taking off and landing and all of the airport activity going on while practically sitting on the tarmac! The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

I ordered the tomato basil soup, as did my husband. We agreed it was delicious. I ordered the crab cake appetizer and didn’t finish it - it was not tasty despite a decent sauce. My husband had the chili, which he enjoyed. We will return again to try a main course. They looked intriguing.

1. Rule #1....you cannot reserve a table by the window....on a first come first serve basis...perfectly fair and easy to understand 2. There were a significant amount of empty tables by the window when we arrived (party of 4) 3. we were told all those tables were reserved 4. go back to Rule #1

Great Restaurant - Don't miss this restaurant if you are in B/CS. It's a gem of a place. Food, Drinks, Service, Location and just everything about it is spectacular. We love that this place serves Texas wines. The view of the runways at Easterwood Airport are wonderful. You never know who might fly in. Highly recommend.

This was our first time here. Since this is a college town, most places cater to students. This place kinda too you away from that a little....had some fun nastalgia, food was a little pricey, but good, our waiter was extremely friendly and attentive, the wait was short since we had a reservation. I would tell folks to definitely get a reservation, and maybe dine not too late in the evening so you could enjoy a few flights coming and going. Nice place and worth it.
