Gia is among the first restaurants in Canada to be recognized and recommended by the renowned Michelin Guide. Gia is a vibrant plant-forward 36 seat restaurant, specializing in handmade pasta with creative takes on Italian classics like plant-based meatballs, Focaccia, Ricotta Gnocchi, Spaghettoni Bolognese, White Truffle Ricotta Agnolotti. Our main courses include Eggplant Parmigiana, Squash Risotto and Lion's Mane Steak.

Reservations: We allocate a dining period of 2 hours and typically book at 5pm, 6pm and 8pm & 10pm,
If you need more than 2 hours kindly let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate.
Maximum party size is 5 Friday and Saturday, Bar seating available.

    I’ve been to Gia a few times and they never disappoint. Service and food is always a 10/10 and last night was no exception. I was celebrating my anniversary with my boyfriend and our server Farid made it extra special. Everything we ordered was phenomenal, which was nearly half the menu. The focaccia and plant based Brie were huge highlights, and the drinks were amazing. I highly recommend trying their “I should live in salt”, I’ve never had a cocktail like it before and it was so good I had to order a second one. Start to finish it was an incredible night, Farid even went out of his way to take care of a round of drinks for us which was unexpected but incredibly kind. My partner and I have both worked in this industry for many years and when we receive this level of quality service and food it’s instantly a favourite in my mind. We’ll be back to Gia very soon I’m sure!

    Food was really delicious, great mix of flavours. Open kitchen was a treat to watch the food being prepared. It is great that hey have a patio. Unfortunately since I have poor hearing, the traffic noise l d us to change to inside seating. We look forward to our next visit.

    We had a wonderful server, she paced the timing of our dishes. If you love fresh made Italian dishes then give it a try.

    I’ve never had such worse service. Servers took 25 minutes to even take our drink order. My reservation was at 8pm and we didn’t even get food until 9:30. By the time the food actually came I wasn’t even hungry anymore. We had to call people over multiple times to even get our order taken on the patio. Beyond disappointed is an understatement.

    I would like to start by saying I am vegan, but not at all a picky eater. I usually like everything. The “crab cakes” had the texture of breaded mashed potatoes. The flavour was not at all what you would expect from something called crab cakes. It also tasted like mashed potatoes with lots of black pepper. The coleslaw and aioli were fine. The ravioli was good. Also stuffed with peppery mashed potatoes. The cashew cream sauce and the peas were a great touch. The pasta itself was chewy. The lions mane mushroom looked amazing, was seasoned great, but the texture was horrible. It was slimy and was like chewing jello. We couldn’t finish it. The potatoes and rapini were fine. I don’t know why we went ahead and got dessert because it was also not so good. The cheesecake was good but the peach reduction that was on it had a flavour that neither of us liked. Of all the people who visited our table; our server, the person who refilled our water, and the person who cleared our plates, not one did a quality check when we received any of our food. We were asked after we were done eating dessert if we liked the cheesecake. Overall I loved the atmosphere, decor and philosophy. I wish I loved the food. For the price and the build up I had created in my mind, I was very disappointed in the main thing, the food.

    Not usually a fan of vegetarian meals but I’d go back to Gia anyday! Loved their big group $70 tasting menu. So delicious!!
