    I asked the waiter for Mixed seafood pasta and he said there were no clams or oysters available so I ordered Spaghetti Carbonara instead. The spaghetti was sticky and had no flavor. My husband and I just returned from a 2 week vacation in Rome and Florence Italy and their Spaghetti Carbonara was excellent. The ingredients in Italy is high quality compared to Giaola. Also for an “Authentic Italian restaurant” as Giaola claims to be the waiter didn’t even bring to the table olive oil and bread as in all the restaurants in Italy. Overall, low quality with high price. Never again will we come back!

    Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner! The garlic bread with 3 cheeses was fantastic and went perfectly with our wine. Excellent service and we will definitely go back. It is a little hard to find unless you know the area.

    We were very delighted with the restaurant, food and Jenna! It was almost like eating in Italy! We will happily recommend this restaurant to all we meet! Appetizers, entrees and desserts were delicious and the portions are very generous!

    Lunch on the patio was delicious. Variety of options fir our table included pizza, lasagna, salad, and grilled artichoke. Not very busy so it was quiet. Very affordable.

    We were pleasantly surprised by this little local restaurant. We had a party of six and sat out on the gorgeous, quiet patio with heaters that kept us cozy. The food was yummy as were the cocktails. We were celebrating a belated family birthday. We have dairy, gluten and egg allergies in our party and had no trouble finding options. We can recommend the risotto, lasagne , spaghetti and meatballs, carbonara, and gluten free pizza. Our server was very attentive all night and even brought birthday cannoli for us. We were absolutely stuffed, but each enjoyed a bite. We will return very soon.

    Our dinner was delicious and the service was good. We had a farmers market salad, cypresses pizza, a prawns and risotto dish, and a couple of appetizers. I will return to dine again. The only area where Giaola can improve is in have a more varied menu and also more vegetarian options. One of the persons in our party is vegetarian and she mentioned that there aren’t too many options.

    The service at this restaurant is above par. We were sat by Jose and our server's name was Aldrin. Both of them were extremely accommodating and mindful with my 2-year-old son. They brought out a kid's drink, crayons, and asked if we wanted them to get anything started for him before anything else. I loved that. The cocktails were delicious and the food was unbelievable. I got the Jidori Chicken Piccata, my wife got the Bolognese Al Forno with Meatballs and my colleague ordered the Chicken Parmesan. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

    Giaola’s is amazing! The food is fantastic, the service and drinks are top notch. My go-to cocktail is the paper airplane or the cucumber martini - both are delicious! You will not be disappointed. I will definitely be coming back soon!!

    Short review here: The food is never great: The chicken is really salty. The lasagna is always soft. The ambiance is close but misses the mark. The outside patio could be great. There is usually a nice breeze. There is plenty of space. When the live music isn't too loud it could be nice. But, somehow they manage to mess it up. This time the TV screens were showing the Operation Smile - Cleft Palate Surgery videos. Great cause - not a great side show for dinner.

    Enjoy delectable gluten-free options at this Italian restaurant. It has a quiet atmosphere on a weekend. Unfortunately, towards the end of our meal, the waiter made a mistake by keeping us waiting for 30 minutes for our dessert. Although he was friendly, it would have been preferable if he had given us the choice to either wait or cancel the order.

    Tomato sauce is bland and they had no fish of the day (ocean is 7 miles away). Food is pricey but only mediocre. Go down Melrose to Nucci’s for authentic Italian.

    Our server, Frankie was very attentive ! Their lasagna knocked my socks off. We tried all their apps. The best one was the meatballs and polenta. Flavorful and delightful. The live music was hard to talk through. Their drink menu is fun too.

    This place is awesome! We went here with our full family (kids included) and everyone LOVED their food. We all had to have everyone else try a bit of our dishes because they were all so delicious. Even the complimentary bread is incredible. Not only was the food exceptional, our server was so amazing and interacted so well with our kids. He treated our daughter like a princess and she already asked when she can come back! We highly recommend!

    This place is terrible! The service was a disaster. The food lacked any seasoning. The risotto was over cooked and flavorless. The carbonara pasta was sticky and over cooked, and what sauce there was, was under seasoned and lacked flavor. Bright spot, cocktails were great. Over all a disaster and I will never return!

    745 reservation, and they were already cleaning up the restaurant that closes at 9. Almost felt like they were rushing my wife and I. All waiters we're in the middle of the dining room complaining about the day which made my wife and I feel even worse about dining there. Like we shouldn't have come. Food felt like it was rushed out, we ordered a chicken parmesan and a Bolognese pasta that took literally 5 minutes. I felt bad that it was mother's day, but why have an open reservation available if you didn't want us to come in? We would have felt better just being told that they were extremely busy and couldn't accommodate.

    This was a terrible experience, on all levels. We went to celebrate Mother's Day Brunch. It was a very limited menu, which we knew. One of the reasons we went there was for the Artichoke Starter. They ran out! How can you do that when the menu is limited!? The Eggs Benedict was undercooked and watery, with no flavor, and the options for dessert didn't have anything my daughter could eat. There were two of us, and with no alcohol, the bill was $130, before tip! The waitress was slow and not very good. The burrata and prosciutto appetizer had NO prosciutto! And, to make things even worse, they had a female performer who was singing and playing so loud that we couldn't even talk! It was the absolute worst and I'll never go there again.

    For a fixed price of $55/person for Mother’s Day brunch, food was just average. Food could have used a little more salt/seasoning and flavor. Eggs for the Benedict had two totally different consistencies/poached level. Music and patio was nice.
