   Me and my son ate here at lunchtime....we did book but there were a few tables spare.... really friendly staff, quick service and food was great.... second time I have been here and will definitely go back

   The food was delicious! Came quickly too. The table almost wasn't big enough to hold the starter and mains. The only issue we found was the music was too loud. We could barely hear our waitress due to it. But overall it was a good experience, would go back again!

   Meal was ok, burgers good, salad just cabbage and lettuce. Worst thing was having the restaurant being tidied and closed up around us while we ate. Doors wedged open opposite our table so that the outside chairs could be brought in and stacked up around us. Asked for them to be closed but this was denied. Felt they couldn't wait for us to go even though it was only about 8pm.

   The restaurant was quiet, possibly due to low staff levels. No walk-in’s being taken but fortunately we had booked. Food was ok but table service lacking. Plates not cleared away until requested sometime after we’d all finished eating The automatic 10% service charge possibly leads to this apathy? Went to the bar in the end to pay as staff werent very attentive. It was my sons birthday so was disappointed by the experience.

    We went as a group of 5 for breakfast. Everyone was happy with their food and it all came out at the same time on warm plates. There were no problems with specific dietary requirements. Both waiters were helpful and friendly and we would go back again.

    Menu is great with lots of choice and variation, a lot different from your ordinary menu. We tried the Katsu Curry and the Korean Chicken which were both delicious! The staff were so lovely and friendly, definitely made our night even better! Great atmosphere and seating arrangements. Great price for quality!

    The food and location is brilliant, what we did not like was being sat next to noisy young children, it would be ideal to have the option to be sat away from large family groups as it impacted our ability to chat at a normal level.

    Nice restaurant with friendly staff. The only point I would make was the menu was not extensive at all. There were only a few options to choose from. I had looked up the menu before going and thought there was more on there than the menu we were given. Given a choice I would not have ordered off that menu at all but having said that the dish I ordered, Thai duck stir fry was very nice and the others in my party seemed to enjoy their food. I would have liked to know before hand that there was a small menu but this was maybe something I had missed when booking

    Our server was really friendly and the overall service superb. The food was excellent. The toilets could be cleaner and seem in need of refreshing.

    The waiter who took our order was great, but from there on in, i wasn’t very impressed. Our food came before our drinks, when asking for our drinks, was greeted with ‘we’re really busy’ that’s not my problem ! It takes seconds for 4 diet cokes to be poured! We had booked our table, so they knew we were coming!

    An annual day trip to Bath Christmas Market. We always book Giraffe because there is an extensive vegetarian menu. Not this year though. A very restricted Christmas menu, containing not a lot of vegetarian choice (unless you like curry!) We just had starter and pudding. Will be booking somewhere else for our trip next year. Presumably there will be a Christmas menu again.

    Lovely food, definitely worth recommending! Friendly staff. My only complaint would be the loud music in the background - a bit too loud maybe, it wasn't easy to hear each other.

    A tasty menu with good vegan selections. Staff were very attentive to my daughter's food allergy and were keen to get it right. Similarly as a wheelchair user they made sure i had an accessible table. Our waiter for the evening was super friendly, helpful, polite and had a good sense of humour. Will definitely return and recommend to others. Thank you

    Very poor. Music was so loud conversation was impossible. Opted to sit outside but shortly after doing so the staff started smoking next to the table at the front. Menu is super limited and expensive. We left.

    Asked if a meal contained garlic as I don’t like it , was told by the manager they couldn’t serve us as didn’t have time to find out !!!! It’s not an allergy but even if it was she was very rude .

    Had a table booked, and the restaurant was not too busy. It took ages for someone to take our drinks order. We like Giraffe but there was a failure with the software for drinks the order with the bar taking 30 mins for a drink to be broughttothetable. Our start after it was placed, came out incomplete. The staff were great though and resolved all issues. One bit of feedback, may be to put better descriptions on the starters menu. For a sharing dish, which we chose extra bread, we are sure 2 slices of baguette doesn't equate to £3.50. Overall experience, we will go back to Giraffe Bath again.

    Wasn't busy when we visited but service took an age! We were sat right in front of the open kitchen so could see what a muddle they were in. Once our order was taken drinks took a very long time and then the food order was wrong (had ordered pancakes without bacon but all 3 portions had bacon) when we said so the plates were returned to the kitchen and the bacon removed although they took time to replace the pea shoots??!!! All a bit odd on maple pancakes. Luckily we are not vegetarian (noone asked) so we put up with the lingering bacon taste but was poor. Disappointing last day of Summer holiday treat for our children.

    The service was outstanding. Such lovely staff- really make a huge difference to the overall experience. Very quiet but we were there at an unusual time of day. Menu was limited. An OK selection. I would go again. But it was the staff that made the difference.

    The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Eating out with a toddler is something I often do but this was very different (in a good way). It was little things like trying to find a drink he'd drink as it was included in the offer and bringing out his pasta before the adult meals so it could cool down and we could all eat together (even giving him a tea spoon for his ice cream was great as that doesn't always happen). We visit bath regularly to go swimming and will definitely be going back. Thank you!

    They would not tell me if chickpea pea or lentil were in their foods despite knowing ahead of time if these allergens. Refused to make any food for my son so we left.
