   Food was served cold. Our table was placed in a separate room from the main dining area, which reduced the ambient noise, but also the attention of the waitress. Service therefore was slow and a bit sloppy. Drinks were watered down.

   Space is beautiful. Food was very underwhelming. Cacio e Pepe was very eggy and not cheesy. Shrimp felt warmed out of a frozen bag. Meal was hardly edible. My sister’s chicken was overcooked and dry. Dessert was listed as a panna cotta but we were served a mousse. This was all recommended by the server.

   Cool location, that doesn't feel like a hotel restaurant. The food is original, beautiful presented and exceedingly tasty. The staff were helpful and friendly. Can't fault it. I'll be back soon

   I cut restaurants a lot of slack these days knowing how hard it is to find good help, however, our service was pretty dismal. Our server would disappear for long stretches at a time so that by the time our 3rd course arrived we still had plates from the first 2 courses on our table and our wine glasses had been empty for some time. The pasta arrived barely warm and was okay. I had eaten at Giulia when it first opened and was impressed, so I was looking forward to trying it again, but sadly, I won't be back.

    This is our 3rd time eating here and the food and service has always been good. Tried to call the restaurant for 3 days because we had a question about the reservation, but the phones were down. Literally no service. Ok, I get it...not much they can control here, but nonetheless frustrating. When we arrived, the waiter came over to take our drink order (3 red wines and a kids NA cocktail). We were ready to order our food also, but the waiter stopped us and said, "Let me get your drink order in real quick because the bar is busy, then I'll be right back to take your food order." He didn't come back for at least 10 minutes. We then ordered a Charcuterie Board ($32) and two Focaccia orders as an appetizer ($5 each). Fearing we might not see him again for a while, we also ordered our pasta dishes. We waited probably 25 minutes and finally our pasta showed up. I told the waiter, "We haven't even received our appetizers yet." He said, "Oh, sorry, I will obviously take them off the bill." Every other time the food and service has been wonderful, so this is where my 16 year old wanted to go for her 16th birthday. Needless to say the entire experience was less than special. Food was average this time around. Disappointed and not sure we will be back after this.

    Service was quite slow. Wish there were more salad choices like just a small dinner salad. And Italian food should be served with bread especially given the entree prices.

    We went out to Giulia for an early Valentine’s Day date, and enjoyed every bite. Our server was attentive and knew the answers to all of our questions. We tried a very unique pizza - black apple sausage - and loved it. The halibut, a Valentine special, was also tasty. The wine list isn’t as extensive as we would have liked, but we found wine that met our tastes and was priced similarly to other area restaurants. Overall, a wonderful experience in a historic building with modern, cozy decor and an open floor design.

    Our server Matt was amazing! Very knowledgeable of the menu. Food was delicious, a little cold by the time it reached us, possible a different method of serving for the seafood cavetalli so that it doesn't cool off so quickly

    It was pretty loud at the beginning of dinner but it quieted down from the other patrons at the bar. But the food was delicious, I ordered the focaccia bread, seafood cavatelli, and a devola pizza to go. Food was slow to arrive but once it got to us, it was delicious. Drinks were also delicious, fair price for what we got. Ambience was good, I like the decor but it wasn’t very romantic like how I wanted. Overall, a wonderful experience and will be returning!

    Business dinner. Service was very slow. Entrees didn’t come out together. Didn’t get our wine until dinner was almost over. I know it was a Monday so maybe an off night but the experience was lacking.

    My wife and I met a friend for late brunch on a Saturday afternoon. All of the wit staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. This was our first visit to Giulia. We had seen it in “The 5 Best Things” column in the Mpls Star-Tribune. Our waitress welcomed us and was very knowledgeable about everything on the menu - we had many questions. The food was excellent and we ordered plenty - we all took food home for later. A very pleasant dining experience. We will be back.

    Good food, bad service. There were a lot of people working but they were pretty clueless and inattentive. Didn’t know anything about the menu, didn’t clear plates, didn’t fill water or coffee, rarely checked on us, generally took a really long time.

    Went for New Year’s Eve with friends. Overall good experience, but the bar was unable to make one of the cocktails on the menu because the ran out of an ingredient…on a major going out holiday.
