   Had the octopus- cooked well but lacked flavour. Seafood risotto was fishy and risotto was too watery. Had the pizza as well - great flavour and crust although burnt.

   INCREDIBLE MEAL! If u can, sit at the Chef's Bar. U can really appreciate the attention to detail the chefs and staff put into cooking and plating the meals. Truffle mushroom pizza, brocollini, ravioli, seafood stew and tonight's Gelato flavour was coffee. Perfect meal and the service was impeccable. Will definitely go back.

    Second time I’ve been. Has felt rushed both times. They really want you in and out. The only negative thing about the whole experience. If they would just relax the service it would be outstanding.

    Food quality was very good, each plate tasty, presented well, bold flavours well prepared. Bread portion larger than tripe portion on plate seemed out of balance. Felt rushed for entire meal, no chance to relax n savour, they just kept food coming and clearing plates. We had two courses and dessert, bottle of wine in 1.5 hrs… food presented as sharing so we didn’t each have our appetizer or mains together, clever way to make less stress in kitchen and keep inpatient customers happy. Felt wine list was excessively expensive for trattoria. Constant movement of numerous staff makes you feel like you are in a busy subway station. Our compliments to the cooks! Well done.

    Service was excellent, we were seated quickly and attended to pleasantly during the entire meal by several staff. The wine list is heavily skewed to >$200 bottles so we had trouble selecting a reasonably priced wine for our taste and ended up with a bottle we didn’t love. The food was good but at least 3 out of our 5 dishes lacked salt resulting in bland flavour which was an overall disappointment. Apps: - crudo di tonno was great but lacked something preventing it from being excellent - bread and oil was excellent - burrata is always delicious but in this case could have used salt to enhance the citrus that accompanied it Salad contadina: the lemon vinaigrette could have used some salt Sea bass: excellent Tonnarelli: the pasta itself had great texture but we didn’t love this dish’s flavour overall Not sure why we’re so afraid of salt - used right it will enhance and never detract from a dish…but what do I know, I just happen to be a human that enjoys good food… At this price range I would have liked to have walked away with a “wow” on the food. Feels a bit over-hyped and overpriced generally, but that’s not to say we didn’t enjoy our experience - I’d just try to limit my return to a business meeting.

    One of the best restaurants I’ve ever gone to! Everything was 5 stars, from the second we walked in to the second we left. We were greeted right away and taken care of amazingly. Service was spectacular, we had the pleasure of being served by Alana. The food was cooked perfectly and so delicious. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

    First time at this restaurant and my boyfriend and I had an amazing experience. Had only heard bits and pieces about Giulietta from friends and coworkers but not enough to push it to one of my top priority must-East restaurants list in Toronto, so we had no expectations prior to our visit. Firstly, the “counter” seating option was probably the best option out of the three when making a reservation! Super happy we were seated at the counter. Seeing all the kitchen staff work so efficiently and with precision was a nice touch to our overall experience. Second, the welcoming service and attention from not only our server but the rest of the restaurant staff was exceptional! I enjoyed how no matter the server, when we were finished with a plate or needed our glasses refilled, whoever was nearby would tend to us. The attention to detail was very appreciated, including the placement of the water pitcher and the water glasses, and the clean-up after each course. Lastly, the food was incredible. The kale salad was such a unique salad with the honey butter vinaigrette and unforgettable. While we were satisfied with our five dishes, another reason for why we enjoyed sitting at the counter was being able to see all the other dishes being prepared from the menu so we now know what else we want to try during our future visits. I’ve frequented a lot of restaurants in and outside of Toronto, including Michelin star restaurants, and I can without a doubt say that this has been the best overall dining experience including the best Italian food I’ve eaten in a restaurant.

    Best restaurant in the city! Can’t compliment the service and food enough! We were a group of 5 celebrating and tried a bunch of items from the menu such as olive/sausage app, calamari, burrata, ravioli, steak, stew, bolognese, sea bass, la valentia pizza. I recommend it all!! So good

    Service was impeccable. Our table was not ready when we arrived, but the host set us up at the bar to have a glass of wine on the house. Very thoughtful and kept us updated on the status of our table. We were moved to our table in about 10min. The servers were attentive and the food was amazing!

    The entire meal was fantastic. Start to finish. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with beautiful smiles. The ambience was second to none. Every dish was seasoned and balanced perfectly. The service was top notch as well, everyone seemed to know specifics about the dish without having to check with the Chef. Recommending this place to anyone who visits Toronto.

    Service and food were spot on. Server was attentive to our likes and dislikes and recommended dishes we loved. And the bar tender made us some amazing cocktails (not on the menu) based on our likes and dislikes as well. Would definitely recommend this place and especially if it's for a special occasion.

    Very enjoyable. The GM and Bartender will be the reason for our return in the future. They created a welcoming meal that got us excited to explore the menu. The GM provided his personal touch for wine pairings thay the us a peak into his world. Absolutely took care of us and we didn’t have to make any decisions. Thank you Matteo and Patrick.

    As someone who worked in the hospitality field for over a decade this experience was simply amazing. Attentive and friendly staff from being seated to leaving at the end. Not a detail was missed by the friendly and attentive staff. The food matched the service at every level and that Torte Nonna for dessert is one that simply will not be forgotten.
