    Reservations on line were easy and efficient, food well presented and cooked as requested, good quality and taste. The friendly waiter that presented the food explained it with an accent that no one understood. Great experience, highly recommend.

It never disappoints and the staff especially Andre who took care of us (and always does) is just amazing and attentive and extremely knowledgable of the food and wine menu and just impeccable service.     Great atmosphere. Great food. Waiter we had was very nice but I think he was new. We’ve been to Glass many times & other waiters have been better by being chatty & friendly. Our waiter was maybe a bit shy. We had friends in town from Melbourne and we had a terrific night. They thought it was fabulous. We’ll be back soon. It a special night out.

    Unbiased review. Went for degustation 5 course meal for 3 people. The Pan Seared Scallops & Hiramasa Kingfish Sashimi, Black Angus beef fillet MB2+ was the highlight of the night. The rest of meal was mediocre. Asked for Chicken parfait and the waiter was clueless. After asking the third time then he realised what we wanted. Nevertheless The Glass Brasserie has lost its standard. Will not be returning anytime soon.

    The flat bread dripped with oil, while the crab omelette largely disintegrated in the watery miso-like soup. Was not light and fluffy! The angus beef was excellent but the potato mash was mixed with so much cream it was like flavourless custard. Fortunately was not charged for this + offered complimentary coffee. Service was uneven with entree served just as martini and flatbread arrived. Staff seemed confused. Also meals were not served by waiters. Typically place in front of you and the almost run away without checking with you that this was in fact what you ordered.

    Degustation menu - food was fine but not outstanding (Bentley several years ago was miles better and much more interesting) - only course that was 'exciting' was the dessert, and the gnocchi a waste of a course (always bland). Had the premium wines - variable, but sommelier friendly and knowledgeable. Was our silver wedding anniversary and were made to feel special. Service friendly and good overall (although annoyingly they start to set up the tables for the next day while everyone still eating dinner - makes feel like need to rush end of the meal). Ambience was very good.

    Kingfish sashimi entree was a visual and taste sensation. Absolutely beautiful and great flavours. Mulloway main perfectly prepared. Perfect service - efficient, friendly and professional. Truffle and parmesan fries - just brilliant. Great CBD location.

    Service was absolutely shocking! We ordered an entree, and before I had even finished they were clearing my husbands plate. The main, they didn’t even ask what sauce for the steak. I couldn’t get their attention to ensure we received sauce. I had to walk across the restaurant to get the waiters attention. Ordered a side of mash with the steak. Steak came out. They forgot the mash. We waited 5 mins. Waiter comes over wondering why we aren’t eating yet. Advise we are waiting on mash. 10mins later it comes out. Steak is now cold. I have never come across such poor service in a restaurant; especially not one that charges through the roof. The entire experience at the Hilton was horrible. The food included with the room was awful, and I have no idea what this ridiculous trend of serving a packet of chips with a meal is suppose to be?!? It’s not trendy! It’s a rip off! If I wanted smith’s crisps I’d go to a vending machine. The only thing this hotel has going for it is the rooms, but even then, we had construction operating all night outside. Nothing like the sound of demolishing concrete and beeping trucks going all night to really make your stay worth every cent!
