    First time here and likely won’t go back. Service extremely poor. We were ignored the whole time. Took a long time to get drinks and our appetizer. We had to wave the waiter down to order our main dish. No one asked how are food was, and no one came by to ask if we wanted another drink, nor was our water refilled. Portion size very small especially for the prices charged. Salmon overcooked and dry- got the tail end piece. Not a great experience at all!

    Our lunch at Glo was excellent. We had delicious chicken with lettuce wraps, thai soup, and tan tan salad. Our server was lovely. The only thing marring a perfect experience was the terrible loud music. I notice that several reviews mention this .... but it remains the same. It makes no sense to play music that no-one enjoys!

    I asked the waitress a question regarding my dietary restrictions. She would ask the kitchen and let me know. However she never came back and I had to try and call her again and even then she did not have an answer for me. My fish came with cheese even though I had explicitly told her I cannot eat cheese. Luckily I saw it and they had to make me another one. The plates from the apples were left on the table while we were eating the main course and the waitress never came vack to ask if we wanted more drinks.

    It was a little chilly outside so we dined inside which is great but doesn't have the view of outside tables. The meal was excellent. We shared the beef short ribs which were very tender and full of taste and also shared the Thai soup which which was also excellent. Portions were appropriate and worked well for sharing. Wait staff were attentive but service was understandably a little slow given how busy the restaurant was on the evening we came. All in all, a great dining experience.

    We always enjoy a visit to Glo. The food is good but this time the rice was cold in the tuna bowl. A rare disappointment.

    It’s a lovely location and the service was excellent. However, I didn’t enjoy my meal at all. I had ginger beef. It was simultaneously too sweet, too salty and too tough with too much gooey sauce. Barely edible. I left most of it on the plate.

    Great view from the patio was complimented by the great service and food. Service was attentive but not over powering. We enjoyed our meal and did not feel rushed. Would highly recommend this restaurant as we will be back.

    Lettuce wraps were warm and brown. We were told we had 2 hours for the table, but food came flying out. I would have preferred it a little paced.

    A lunch on the patio with a friend was made special by the wonderful service from the front reception to our adorable waiter. Everyone offered us a comfortable, warm seat and an umbrella if we needed it. The drinks menu is very exciting and will bring me back for an evening. Our lunch, the Moroccan meatballs for me, the goat and pear salad for her was perfect and arrived with a smile and flourish. We loved the view of the water and trees. The music was a bit too loud but then we are older so maybe just us.

    We were disappointed with our table. After making reservations 5 days in advance, we were given a terrible table in a corner, far away from windows. There were many tables available with views, but not ours. We won't be coming back any time soon.

    Had a lovely lunch on the patio in the sunshine. Food was great, service was excellent, it's one of our favourite patios to go to. The only thing that would make it perfect would be having the patio as dog friendly.

    The restaurant is a nice environment although a bit noisy. The service was slow, and the food mediocre. The Calamari was flavourless, my cedar roasted sockeye salmon was grossly overdone, parts were crispy and the rest was dry, the asparagus were overcooked and the garlic mashed were lukewarm to cool. They tried to make amends with not much better results with parts uncooked (raw) and some crispy and dry. BTW, it is served on a tiny cedar board, piled on top of potatoes but definitely not cedar roasted. The rest was a bit better than the first time but not much. My friend had crispy chicken lettuce wrap as starter and blackened creole chicken. She was not impressed with either.

    We made a reservation and we were pleased with our indoor table. Food was excellent, service was very good. But, noise was challenging. My friend speaks quietly and we could not have a conversation without yelling across the table. The noise made the experience difficult. We won’t go back unless we can sit outside.

    The food was too bland, like no spices at all. Also, the table where I was seated, the Sun kept blinding my eyes the whole time.
